The Ancestor Feast was by far the most moving and wonderful ritual I have been a part of to date.

Maze @TheDisreputableDog: Also, I've been meaning to ask this for some time now, but did you take your name from the pages of Garth Nix novels? Indeed! Kiwi, I'm glad you're safe. What a horrible experience.

is it terribly sad to enjoy having reached the "ultimate" levels for both vampire and human?

TeaDidikai The Ancestor Feast was by far the most moving and wonderful ritual I have been a part of to date. I'm so, so very glad it was my first ever ritual. It was moving, respectful, thoughtful, and fun--I like to think that many of the people I was honouring would be happy to know that while I was thinking of them in the sincerest way possible, laughter and mirth was there as well. Wonderful, wonderful weekend. And thanks for the tarot readings for the boyfriend and I. Another great first!

Isaac and I were woken up today by the maintenance lady at our door...our car had been broken into sometime between 11 PM and 8 in the morning. Stereo stolen, stuff in the trunk seems to be missing, and glove compartment gone through.
Very shaken up. Very upset. Very, very, VERY angry.

I know of a "Thief's Rune"- stemming from Norse trad if you are interested. ~Hugs~ Lame way to start the week after such a wonderful weekend.

I was thinking the same thing. Two fantastic days, and then a shitty start to this one. Luckily, according to Isaac's father and the insurance company, it shouldn't cost more than $100 to fix the window.

BlueRoseTorn Very much interested, thanks. I want to say it is in FUTHARK, by Thorson. Quote: Luckily, according to Isaac's father and the insurance company, it shouldn't cost more than $100 to fix the window. That is good news.

Looked through Thorsson's books and I didn't see it at a glance. I'll look harder or get the Godhi I know to draw it for me.
