Ill let you both fight to the Death and bet on the winner. Then sell it to the winner at a ridiculus price

Finally finished reading "Faith & Fire", it was an average read, nothing standing out too much, the plot was a bit far-fetched though. Oh well, one down, two crappy novels of CS Goto to go. Think I'll tackle Ascension first, saving the worst for last, being Warrior Brood.

I find Goto's writing style not as great as others keep telling me. I've read through the first "epic" chapter of Warrior Brood and I find it boring. Oh, marines are having a "heroic" last stand. They way he described it, it was boring. So Ascension is first up, might as well read the sequel to Dawn of War, a mediocre read that does imporve the story of the game, but has boring parts in between.

I wish Si Spurrier would write a new novel, that kid can write, Lord of the Night gave me a nice taste afterwards, damn good plot as well. He also did a great job at improving the stain left by the Fire Warrior game. Even better would be if Abnett would ******** Gaunt and write the last(?) Ravenor book first, the Ghosts can wait. Of course, if his already overhyped Horus Heresy series will be any good, it's forgiven.

Gordon Rennie, though his second novel already discusses the turning battle of the gothic war, not much else to write about then.

True, but it's not of much historical significance.

I know this is off topic, but there is no where else to put it.

Have any of you ever read any of those books by George R R Martin? They keep getting mentioned in WD and I was wondering if they are any good.
