Shounen-ai tends to be more
of a relationship thing rather than the
sex thing. So like I don't find myself being a pervert,
but I do love having tingly feelings while watching Shounen-ai
because i fidn it quite cute~!
Yaoi tends to be more of lust,
while Shounen-ai are crushes or limerence.

Shounen ai isn't that bad. Try hardcore yaoi, tentacle yaoi, and even real gay porn on for size. ;D Brian_Kinney_Star yes. I beleive we are. But that is what makes us great. LMAO. Is that Miyavi with a boner in your siggy?

I think whether someones a pervert or not depends on the person , eg if someones watching/reading yaoi for the storyline or romance and swooning then theyre not perverted theyre just reading/watching because its something to watch/read , but if youre watching/reading for the smexy action and just sitting there drooling (or something else)then the chances are , theyre a pervert ^^;
I'm not one to judge though ... So I cant say ... I like the way you put it in your second paragraph. I happen to read BL for the good storylines they can have, not to mention the art and the points the manga-ka/producer is trying to make (I like stories with messages behind them). I'm actually not really in to sex scenes so, that's why I stay away from yaoi. I'm the type who likes implictness. It's just my taste. However, if a sex scene is done tastefully I don't really have any problems with it (reffer to Mars vol. 14). Though, they could just leave out that stuff altogether.
Anyone can have perverted thoughts, but I don't know if that makes them a pervert.
