Well, that wasn't as exciting as it could've been. The decorations were nice and he liked the music, but he literally met no one new there. He had to get back in the game. His social skills were fading fast. Maybe he'd make date plans with some of his Hollywood friends, including Alejandro. Mitsu could count him part of his celebrity group, right? He should text him sometime and find out. Assuming always led to disappointment. But, for now, he and his Pokemon had some things to do. First and foremost, they had to get ready for some gym battles. In between that and battle training, they could work on their performance routine. Wasn't much longer before those would be a thing.

Luca just snickered at her companion's response throwing an arm around her shoulder once they were both on their feet. "Oh, I know~ If you had I doubt you would've settled for just a quick brush." She gently pulled Sylva closer and gave her a light tap on the nose, and promptly broke away before she could spark the girl's ire any further. Still, even she didn't expect them to be tossed out so abruptly the way they were, and spent the time the redhead spent tending to her pokemon tugging at her clothes and fixing her bag, getting out some of the tight and uncomfortable creases that emerged upon their return.
They were both finished around the same time, and a stretching Luca confirmed her friend's statement. "Seems so. And at a pretty late hour, no less--though I guess that's to be expected." She glanced off towards the stain-glass doors that parted when someone approached, giving them a peek at the moonlit sky just beyond. "You wanna go ahead and call it a night? Methinks some sleep in a warm bed and a fresh start would do us some good, especially if we wanna hit some of those Trials while we're here."

Sylva eyed the swordswoman before her, still very much angry at her teasing. It's not like Luca wasn't attractive and the thought hadn't crossed her mind, but stepping down that road again.... just didn't seem like a good thing to do. "Whatever." She replied, swatting away the woman's hand.

And Luca was certainly happy to let her lead the way, returning to the redhead's side and marching right down the hall with her, laughing quietly once they arrived and she dove onto the bed. "Come on, it wasn't that bad," she tried to tell her, before stretching her arms and laying claim to the opposite bed.
She was already in the middle of procuring her own nightwear when Sylva discovered her little present, drawing her companion's attention. "Sounds like they thought quite highly of you." Pursing her lips slightly, the red-head narrowed her gaze towards Luca, but then she let her face relax. "I guess it wasn't. The food was pretty good at least." She stated in retrospect. While she was still very much against dancing and balls or gala's in general, she lightly wouldn't be against going again, but maybe to one that was smaller and less extravagant.
Lowering the dress back down onto her bed, she glanced over to Luca with another less-than-happy look in her eyes. "I can imagine what this person was thinking." She stated. "And it's a pronounced no." Tossing the dress to the side, it dangled just on the edge of the bed. "Anyway, I think I can use my old clothes as pj's." She added quickly realizing her old clothes also placed in her bag still neatly folded. There wasn't any need for a shower, they weren't all that smelly from the previous shower. Pulling off the vest and top-shirt she wore she quickly slipped on her old oversized long sleeve shirt. She noticed it was a bit tighter than before, but nothing that could be easily seen. Pulling the blankets over her legs she wiggled out of her pants kicking them to the end of the bed. Who needed pants anyways?

Snickering, Luca still seemed pleasantly surprised at the discovery, and took the redhead's glare in stride. "Well, regardless what they thought, I still think you looked good in it. But I suppose a tropical island isn't the best place to try convincing you otherwise." Finally letting the subject die down, the swordswoman stretched her arms and legs on the bed, pulling out her nightclothes before rising from the bed. "Well, either way, I'm gonna take a quick shower just to wind down for bed. Just lemme know if you need anything and I'll jump out as quick as I can."
With that, the silver-redhaired woman got up from the bed and started towards the bathroom, already stripping out of her skin-tight suit along the way. The top was easy enough to slide off, given that all it took was a sharp motion and a firm tug to get it apart, and the rest was removed after she disappeared through the doorway. Luca made no effort to make the night more eventful than it already had been, and simply did as she said she would; take a shower, wind down, and come back out ready for bed, dressed in the pajamas she'd previously loaned Sylva before. She shut off the lights and promptly dove into bed, drifting off in anticipation of the coming days.

Glancing up quickly to Luca as the woman gave her final statement on the dress, Sylva let a small smile cross her lips before it vanished again. She didn't agree, nor did she ever want to look good in a dress like that ever again, but Luca's compliment was sincere, at least it seemed that way. Even still, the woman quickly mentioned taking a quick shower before bed. "Do whatever you want." she replied, her tone a bit harsher than it needed to be. "I'm going to bed." The distance sounds of the water running and the smell of whatever soap or shampoo Luca was using quickly lulled the red-head asleep. She was unaware of Luca's mistake in climbing into her bed, but at some point during the night the two ended up somewhat entangled. Still half-asleep the red-head felt the warmth of another body, she pulled herself close wrapping an arm over the other in the bed and nuzzling her face over their shoulder. "Tiffy, I'm freezing, warm me up will yea." In her sleepy state, time hadn't gone past the point of Tiffany's demise, she was a teenager again, safe and secure with her lover. If only it were true.

Though it was far from her intent, a sleepy Luca ready for bed didn't exactly have the best nightvision, and slipped beneath the covers of one of the beds. She was too tired to check to make sure it was her own, or that the warm body lying next to her was one of her pokemon instead of her traveling companion. It proved too comfortable for the swordswoman to even think much about, before drifting off to sleep right beside Sylva.
When sunlight finally filtered through the curtains, the tall swordswoman was the first to awaken in those wee hours of the day. She was still a little too groggy at first to really register who's arms were wrapped around her. Her own hands roamed a bit, seeking out the endless fluff of her Gardevoir, her confusion when she found none being what finally pushed her awake. She looked down to find Sylva lying next to her, their arms holding them both close together as the redhead continued to sleep in peace. The surprise nearly made her jump, looking behind her at the vacant bed to realize what exactly had happened.
As much as she wanted to quietly disengage and get out of bed so she didn't startle Sylva, getting out of the girl's grasp was liable to wake her up anyway, leaving Luca to simply lay there for a time, mulling over her options until the next hour ticked by, and eventually let the awkwardness of it all fade away. Besides, it wasn't so bad. It was pretty easy to get comfortable in someone else's arms, lying back and enjoying the physical contact.
Before she knew it, another two hours had passed before Slyva started to stir, mumbling to someone that she was cold. ”Who’s Tiffy?” She asked quietly, unsure if they even heard her. She continued, speaking a little louder to try waking her. ”If you're cold then you can stay right where you're at.”

Tiffany's light brown skin glistened in the light of the moon that filtered into their room. Sylva couldn't take her eyes off the woman, holding her tightly as if the darkness was going to come a rip the woman away from her. After she'd muttered being cold, Tiffany seemingly pulled her closer muttering something in return. The sweet words made Sylva smile. "I want to stay here forever..." She replied. But then. Her eyes snapped open, and after a moment she realized her dream was gone and she was back in the present. And... Looking up she met Luca's gaze. "Wh-" What the hell!? Sylva pushed the swordswoman away as best she could, but her body was weak in the mornings, well it was weak all the time, but she was especially noodley in the morning, meaning she barely managed a few inches between her and Luca. "What the hell are you doing in my bed!?" Sylva demanded. Her eyes stared daggers into Luca, but hidden behind her fierce look was a very apparent saddness... The older woman exhaled a bit when her words didn't quite seem to reach her companion, a quiet laugh escaping her lips as Sylva seemed content to stay in her little dream. It didn't last long, however, as the redhead finally opened her eyes and shot awake, practically shouting at Luca for having shared her bed for the night. "Heh, sorry about that," She began, letting the arm she had wrapped around the girl come loose. Her friend's attempts at shoving didn't do much to budge her, but the woman moved on her own, scooting a bit and sitting up on the bed.
"I guess I hopped into the wrong bed when I came out of the shower last night. I'm used to having my pokemon in the bed with me, so I didn't think about it when I got into your's." Now finally free of her companion's hold, Luca stretched her arms up high above her head while her legs rose up from beneath the sheets. There were audible pops whenever she did, her neck giving especially loud ones as her body woke up with her. "It was my mistake... But with how tight you were holding onto me, I couldn't bear to get up and leave you before you got up." With the last pop, the swordswoman lets her body finally relaxes, one of her hands dropping onto Sylva's head to ruffle her hair. "...I guess this Tiff really was important to you, huh?" She gave as sympathetic a smile as she could, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Her mild anger was heightened just a bit when Luca turned around and ruffled her hair, The red head swung her hand in front of her as if swatting away a bug, missing entirely the entire time. She stared at Luca, who'd taken to sitting on the edge of her bed. The red-head rose to her but, resting her back against the headboard. "She was." She replied sharply. Looking up to Luca, the thought crossed her mind.. for just a split second, that maybe she could confess a bit to her... but then it was gone. Replaced with the urge to throw a pillow at her. Which the red-head did. Tossing a pillow some towards the swordswoman. "And, as if. The way you tease me all the time I bet you got into my bed on purpose." She replied. Pushing off the blankets, Sylva swung herself to the other end of the bed, all the while fishing for her pants from under the covers. Once they were secured she quickly pulled them on.
Though her movements hinted she was still angry, the gaze she gave the window stated otherwise. Her Pokemon stared at her, worry and confusion lacing their eyes. Well, save for Leirsa who was still sleeping despite all the shouting and talking. The one who felt the worst however was Sylva's Sableye. The ghost lifted her body from Sylva's shadow, hugging the woman's ankle tightly. Sylva felt it, but didn't acknowledge it, just thinking about Tiffany was making her all sorts of disheveled. Looking down at the ghost with the same name would utterly break her down.
