I hate that song.

I hate virtually every metal song ever written.

That seems a strikingly blanket comment. Metal has more diversity within it than any other genre I can recall.

Presumably that's only because you can't recall any genre in anywhere near as much detail as you can metal.

No, I know comparatively little about metal, having only recently acquiring an interest in it.
