Eris watched the couples still playing and decided that there just wasn't enough to toy with. She wanted to see them encounter more of her pets, but they just kept on finding a way out. Slippery little things.
In the ballroom, the familiar grey and purple started swarming around Mo and Princess Luna's hooves, and the moment they notice it, it completely swallows them, transporting them back into the labyrinth, just the same as it had before.
Except this time, they were standing in a green garden with a fountain in the center. The open area is round, and there's a fountain right in the middle. There are statues of three women. They're dancing around each other, with their right hands up holding the bowl in which the water flows. They should be recognizable as Thalia, Euphrosyne and Aglaia, Venus' daughters. At the opposite end of the area is a golden archway that seems to have been skipped when Eris painted this garden with her dreary grey and purple scheme. Come to think of it, this whole garden area surrounded the statues seems to have been skipped by Eris' magic. The plants are lush, green and living, the fountain is flowing, and everything is colorful and very reminiscent of Venus. Even the lovely little pedestals with decorative eggs that line the rim of this garden look vibrant and lively.
((They've been put back into the game at Path 13. You can choose from the 3 prompts located there. ))

((Picked up some apples))
Thom had read her quite well, and sure enough Amadorine had taken a step towards the doe. When Thom stopped her, she blinked, then looked back at him. She was about to argue when she shook her head. "No, you're right..." She was acting foolish. In the dim light, she could see that Thom had picked up a basket and, after a bit of searching, she found apples scattered about. Taking the basket, she began filling it with the hard fruits, planning to use them as weapons for if they were taken by surprise again.
"Never again will I be leaving the lantern at home..." She muttered to herself, once more greatly upset and furious with herself for having left the light-giving item at home. Seriously, what was she thinking?! Oh right... that this was going to be a romantic evening at a romantic dance with her beloved Thom. Her own, self-battering thoughts were cut short by the angry, bellowing voice from right where they had been.
"Ok... I vote we keep moving as well." She kept close to Thom, hooves easily keeping balance among the ground littered with apples and other hazards.

Softly picking up one of the balls and plopping it in her mouth, she hummed, grabbing a small plate and placing quite a few more on it. Then she moved over, grabbing a couple of devil's food cupcakes with raspberry icing, some chocolate dipped, marscapone-filled strawberries strawberries, and more truffles, these unowingly filled with irish creme. Taking it all, with her glass of sparkling wine, she moved off to a table to sit herself at.

Louise + Tariq chose option number 27 [Assuming that's the correct number, I thought it was strange that it shared the same numbers with prompt 17]
Louise had been turning the maps over to see if any of them were different from the one they had. It was all the same though. It didn't seem like they were going to get anything out of staying here, until Tariq told her what he found. As she looked at the arrow pointing the ground, she didn't have any doubt in her mind they should follow it. Louise followed Tariq through the newly created path, "Wow, good job Tariq!" the other couple that had gotten a map hadn't stuck around, so she wondered what had happened to them. Louise looked over Tariq's shoulder at the map again as they were coming up on a small space. Her eyes widened as three new paths appeared before them. "Oh dear..." she sighed, she couldn't make heads or tails of this thing. "Right sounds right!" she suggested to Tariq enthusiastically, she was trying to be good spirited about this whole mess, and so far things had seem to go well for them, if only they could figure out these clues.

Terran + Moana chose option number 24 [*crosses fingers*]
Terran peered in the box, pulling out the comb and the honey. He didn't even notice the small bee fly out of the box and head down one of the paths. the pink butterfly made him think of his companion and he turned to Moana and gave it to her, hoping it might cheer her up. "Here," he smiled weakly at her, he was still traumatized. "You should have this."
The box didn't help with his decision at all... he frowned, "Well at least it wasn't anything bad..." he held onto the honey jar and discarded the box, it was too much extra weight. "Well... now what?" Terran looked at the deer, catching its eye as it looked back to... make sure they were following it? He wanted to follow it, he was a faun, this creature was akin to him. "Lets see what this deer is up to..." Terran offered a hand to help Moana up, "I'm sorry we got into this mess..." he apologized to her.

Something seemed to die in the princess in that moment, as her escort spoke what she was fearing, what she believed had happened. Her. Married. Married? And for what? For some silly, pointless game borne from a goddess's petty jealousy that had absolutely nothing to do with her, her family, nor her subjects. And now, not only had it tainted a day meant for love, it had destroyed the sacred meaning of a union of two's souls.
That was enough.
Carefully, methodically, the princess took her makeshift satchel off from around her neck, placing it just out of the way and standing herself up. Her eyes narrowed as her wings flared out, her teeth grinding and her fists clenching as she barely whispered. "How dare you..."
She moved slowly, deliberately, towards the chapel, taking one of the torches into her hand as she glared at the god of weddings. With a strong voice, booming, not unlike that of her sisters, she addressed him directly. "How dare you! What right have you to bind two whom are not in love." Moving the torch in front of her, she approached him. "You have disgraced the utmost sacred meaning of marriage, and for what? For some insignificant b***h's game? That is pathetic, and weak."
Stepping even closer, she moved the torch closer to her face, distorting her features, already twisted with rage, with changing oranges and reds. "You have no right to your title, deity of matrimony" She went silent, before raising her arm high, closing both hands to the wood of the torch, embers flying from its top and her eyes closing shut as she forcefully swung it towards his face, shrieking, "HOW DARE YOU SHAME ME!"
In all this, the princess failed to notice the bow tie laying on the ground, not far off.
