Dustynn immediately began to worry when a blank came from Olan. Not even a thought, not a single unconscious thought. That wasn't normal. Especially with that look on Olan's face, it was definitely not normal at all. He was being careful not to think about anything, because maybe he didn't want anybody to know anything.
"Onii-san... nande mo kiku ka*?" Demitri asked, leaning closer to her brother so that Olan couldn't hear. Dustynn just shook his head, which annoyed Demitri to no end. She hated it when her brother didn't know, because it made her feel like he was either keeping something from her, or things were definitely gong downhill.
*Brother, do you hear anything?"

After what seemed to be a very long while, Olan finally looked at Dustynn with a calm look in his eyes. 'Sorry, I was just trying to figure out what I should think.' If the gang leader was worried or something, which probably explained the uneasy atmosphere, then he might as well tell him what was going on in his mind.
'Anyway, I'd like to change the subject,' Olan thought. 'Is there anything else we can talk about? Or should we stay on this topic?' Though he wasn't sure whether or not the subject has been coming to an end, discussing about anything else would be much better than discussing this. He didn't want to think anymore about what could have happened and what could have been done.

Dustynn's eyes narrowed as Olan began thinking again. The boy was definitely hiding something. Deciding what to think- what a lame excuse! But the gang leader kept his composure and the easy look in his eyes as he sighed.
"Demitri is staying with you until the Demon goes away." Dustynn said quietly, the cloudiness in his eyes finally disappearing. "That is all." He murmured, getting up from the bed and going out the door.
Demitri looked after him, then looked back at Olan. "So tell me, Olan. What was on your mind?" She asked, getting up and hovering over to him.

'Nothing's on my mind, really,' Olan thought. 'I'm just draining out all the tension. Nothing more, nothing less.' Well, that was what he would like to believe. Something was just bothering him, but he didn't know why. He wasn't at all bothered that Demitri-san was going to have to remain with him until the Demon finally gives up, but it was just something else.
What was it again? Oh, right. Olan was trying not to believe that he could have possible feelings for Dustynn. Sure, the gang leader claimed to like him, but for all he knew it could just be some kind of passing feeling. It was really impossible for someone in this living world to actually take a liking to him.

Demitri faintly heard the small tingling voice in the back of Olan's mind. Something about feelings, and how it was impossible for somebody to like him. Who the hell was Olan talking about? Demitri was smart though, she didn't bring it up or tell Olan. She kept it inside herself, knowing she wouldn't get an answer. She'd ask Dustynn another time.

Feeling the urge to leave the room, Olan turned around and walked out the door. He expected Demitri-san to follow, but if she wasn't going to, then she wouldn't have to. The hall seemed pretty quiet. What could possibly have happened?
There was a light fluttering on his shoulder, but Olan didn't bother to look. It could probably be his imagination, since he really missed the presence of his sister. He did wish for her to come back, but he didn't think it would be anytime soon.

Demitri suddenly felt a presence repel her as she tried to follow after the younger boy. What the heck? She tried again, and the presence kept on repelling her over and over, and she was literally trapped inside of the room. She definitely couldn't follow Olan out. The spirit girl finally moved through the wall, appearing in the hallway. To her dismay, another spirit girl was standing by Olan's side, a butterfly hovering by her head.
They looked so much alike. Siblings, probably? Yes, Olan's own protective spirit had come to protect him. Did that mean that Olan didn't need her anymore? Hopefully, since she'd much rather be around her brother instead of the mute boy who's thoughts she could read.

The fluttering continued while Olan walked down the stairs. There was once again white flowing hair near him, but it was probably his imagination. Curiosity, however, wouldn't leave him alone, so he looked toward his right, which was where the hair came from. To his surprise, Somuka was there, smiling as she walked beside him.
'S-Somu?' he suddenly thought, as if his sister could read his mind. Her only response was a smile towards him and a simple 'Hello' before moving on. It wasn't a surprise to him at all, really. Somu never really liked to talk unless there was something interesting to talk about.

Demitri flew down the stairs, passing the Olan look-alike and landing in front of them on the stairs. "Hold it right there." She muttered, crossing her arms across her chest. "Who the hell is she?" She asked, pointing a finger at the girl in white. The two girls highly contrasted each other. Demitri was in all black, while the other girl was all white. She could tell that they weren't going to get along well.

Somuka frowned when she saw the girl in black and stopped in her tracks with her brother. "How rude of me," she said, her voice soft yet a bit annoyed. "I should introduce myself. I'm Somuka Fluffsworth, Olan's older sister. I hope we can be friends." There was a feeling in her, however, that told her they would be somewhat like enemies.
Olan could sense the tension between the two spirits, and he shivered uncomfortable. 'Please don't begin to hate each other so soon,' he thought, a little worried. 'The two of you have only just met.'

"Demitri Loch, Dustynn's older twin." The darker girl hissed, crossing her arms across her chest and glaring at the other girl. They may be close in age, it was difficult for Demitri to tell. All she knew was, they'd ben a spirit for the same amount of time. Ever since nine/eleven, they'd been dead.
"I see you died in the twin towers as well?" The female Loch presumed, leaning against the stairwell. "Your spiritual energy matches mine in age. One can only assume, am I correct?"

"Yes, I suppose I am also a victim," Somuka replied, her eyes narrowing. "It was traumatic, I could tell, for my little brother. I must say I'm impressed that he could live through it all." A small smile, or a smirk perhaps, appeared on her face. "What about your brother? What has happened to him?"
'Somu, does that have to be discussed?' Olan thought, feeling very anxious. 'I believe that topic can be saved for another time, not now.' Out of all days, why did it have to be now that they meet? The day was already bad enough. It didn't have to get worse on account of two contrasting spirits.

After a moment of dreaded silence, a small chuckle could be heard from the direction of the dark girl on the staircase. Soon, Demitri threw her head back and almost began cackling. What the girl had said was hilarious. Had her brother made it out okay, was he traumatized, this and that? Her brother may have been relieved if anything!
"I don't know, really. My brother and I were always close, but our father seemed to have different ideas once my mother and I passed." The wicked look in Demitri's eye adding to her already nasty-looking edge. "You could say that my brother was... relieved if anything."

Somuka grew a bit wary and anxious when she heard the cackle. It now seemed very much impossible to get along with this fellow spirit. They were just two complete opposites with too many differences. How then would they be friends as their brothers have?
"It's nice to hear," she simply said, though not so whole-heartedly. "I'm quite... glad that your brother is relieved." However, she didn't feel very comfortable with the dark Loch. Her aura made her fear for Olan's safety. She didn't seem to be a good person to be around.

"Olan..." Dustynn muttered from the top of the staircase, noticing the other spirit next to him. Somuka, his sister. Apparently, his own half wasn't playing nice either, from the evil edge to Demitri's features. "Why don't you come up here. There's something I need to show you." The purple haired boy muttered, motioning for the boy to follow.
