I got into MCR in like, NOVEMBER.
Of 2005. I'm a horrible person, I know...
But here's the story!!
Okay so...me and a friend (It was either Chris, who is now NOT my friend) or Kimi (who denies ever listening to MCR...) were talking about music and they mentioned My Chemical Romance.
I was like "I've never heard anything by them" and so they flipped out and automatically sent me "You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison".
I was hooked. Instantly after listening to the song MANY times, I got onto Limewire and downloaded their entire Three Cheers album.
Now the most-played songs on my iPod are either MCR or HIM (well, there's one Kelly Clarkson song...). Hahaha...

they were just randomly on my player so i looked into a few more songs and i became hooked that's when i went emo and started hanging around goths and punks so in a way it kinda changed me... i guess

I heard it from a friend on msn.
They had their 'What I'm Listening To' on and it was 'Early Sunsets Over MonroeVille'
I didn't get that album crying I desperatley want it!
But I do have 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge'
Woo.
I love ALL of their songs, like pretty much all of you guys xd

Hmm...that was a while ago. Well, prolly from a friend, who was talking about how cool it was a few years ago. I was curious, and heard a few songs, and became extremely interested heart

i heard about them by litening to the radio when i just heard their song "im not okay (i promise)" i started listening them right away

One of my freinds told me about them when their first album came out. I wasnt really into anything so I didnt want to listen to them. 2 years later i see one of their videos and i ask my freind to let me borrow any Mcr cd he had. I listened and liked them.

I was watching MTV and their video I'm not ok came in, I remember thinking this video is AMAZING! the members have a good chemistry, and the singer has spunk!!! after that I got the cd the next day! and all the songs are amazing.

I was at a sleepover when my friend said, "Hey you'd like My Chemical Romance, they're all about vampires and death and stuff." So she dragged me downstairs to her TV and it was one of those deals where you could---well it was cable. So she pulled up "Helena" and was drooling over Gerard the entire time. Personally, the first time I saw it I was like "He's so creepy!!" But now...let's just say I have totally seen the error of my ways. wink
|

Lol. This brings back memories....
Once upon a time, long ago, there was me....and a boy who is way older than me and was going through the emo stage (It's not a stage to me) and he showed me his computer. My Chemical Romance was fairly un-known of then. He had happened to pic up the first CD and let me listen to it on his computer. I thought it was cool, then later on when the band had left my mind, I was at another friends' house and we were watching music videos. Wha-lah. The new Helana video. And now, I have all their CDs and DVDs, along with a few illegal ones. Lol.

Last year I saw "I'm Not Okay" on MTV and I said to myself "what a pimpin' band...
I loved "Helena" and sang to it during the credits of "The House of Wax"
Bought "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" CD and rocked out scream
After that me and my sis saw them in concert when they were with Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the Full Effect
After that my sis bought "I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love" and we got "Life on the Murder Scene" about 3 months ago

After seeing the name flash up on Gaia a few times in friends sigs, I thought it was a cool name for a band and downloaded a bit, then got the cds. And now I have a shirt, but I'm kinda small so it's big on me so i wear it to bed. sweatdrop heart
