Well, you see, mules have many uses, including acting as a second account if Gaia bans you (as you quite rightly found out), or for acting as a beggar of you need some quick cash (as I have quite rightly found out wink ) or if you get bored of your account it gives a change. You can also infiltrate other noob-sites who perhaps would otherwise suspect you.

Mules are useful. Though I don't use them to beg for gold, seems too much like dishonesty.
