Kaz smiled brightly, glad he still had another ace up his sleeve. He'd long since stopped wearing his true digivice on the outside of his person, especially when he almost forgot in his fight against the megaseadramon. No he'd kept it tucked away, inside his clothing. Instead he had the digivice Isaac had given to him and his group on their most recent quest. Even though Kaz was warned that it would most likely break down soon, it had served as a decoy from whatever was toying with them. The creature had no way to know this. After all it most likely had never thought that a tamer could ever have a second digivice. He knew that persiamon would be on the same page as him, but was not yet ready to show his hand yet. Besides he had long since taken to cradling his altered viximon in his arms to shelter her from the oppressive atmosphere, and thankfully she lay cuddled up to his chest, covering the hidden digivice further. Kaz may not be familiar with the ways of the dark, but he was much more well versed in the lore of the light than anyone else in this castle. Not the fake pretentious angels, but rather the true light of friendship.

The digimon eyes narrowed “I will not be spoke to in this manner” He closed the book, hard, and stood up, forcing Draco to back up “There is no book on this subject, the angels destroyed them all centuries ago, only I and perhaps the homicidal clown knows about this matter and since Piedmon is currently still an egg I am the only one with any knowledge of the old coot” The vampire scowled down at Draco, fierce eyes burning with silent rage at the childs insolence “You are lucky that I have been given direct orders not to kill you, this brash attitude of yours is nothing short of repulsive” That said the vampire opened one hand and a smaller, red book slid down from one of the shelves and into his hand, soaring as if one a breeze. The undead lord then sat down once more, crossing his legs and glaring at Draco before he turned his attention back to the new book, leaving the black book with it´s text and angelic paintings on the floor.
Kaz, confident as he was, felt another hand touch his shoulder briefly before it faded away. He would perhaps not feel as confident and safe when he realized that whatever it was that stopped their digivices from working was just like the fog around them, it swallowed everything, and left even the hidden digivice pressed against his chest a useless toy. Purposeless… ´AHA!´ The female voice yelled somewhere close to the left and a happy shrill escaped her as she circled the two tamers. Chanting softly under her breath, humming to herself. The tones echoed and seemed to come from all around and turned into a wordless song. Mira whimpered once more and kept close to Toan as he walked, staring into the darkness with fearful eyes ´Toan´ It was the dark male voice this time, it boomed like an all consuming thunder over the woman's insane chanting ´The Bloodsoaked Princess, the apprentice of Lucemon, speaks your name with honor and friendship, and your heart has seen darkness; You may pass´ There was a slight pause before the female´s pleasant call sounded again, this time loud and brash like the chitter of a parrot ´Yes, yes. Toan shall go, his demon in tow, to the castles gate; But this one here, forever must he wait. Angel spawn, filth you see…´ Kaz felt her, behind him before she vanished once more with a vicious cry, leaving two bloody claw marks on the tamers left arm that throbbed with pain to the steady beat of his own heart ´Dear beloved enemy!´ Kaz hadn’t even felt her talons pierce his skin, but the wounds were now open and weeping fat drops of blood onto the ground below. The woman cackled madly, her laughter ringing across the black emptiness like bells falling down the side of a mountain, rising and falling in volume until it reached a crescendo and then faded into nothing. ´You are not a servant of this castle, nor are you a dark tamer. Who do you serve, why do you require entry?´

Toan stopped as he sense the blood in the air. "Don't react or attack" Toan warned Kaz, his voice was casual but his eyes gave off a warning saying that it would be his first and last mistake. He had not been able to sense where the attack was coming from or when it had strike. This was a bad sign. He look up to the darkness and said "This angel spawn is with me, he is here only to satisfy his curiosity. He is also one of my servant and follower therefore will follow me into the castle. Any objection?" He didn't wait for a reply as he walked forward with Astamon following behind. Usually Toan would've just left the tamer and moved onto the castle by himself. But because this is spiral castle, Kaz would have been killed by the time he had return. Or worse, Kaz could have won the fight and started a war. Toan silently cursed the situation he was in.

Draco was really starting to dislike Myotismon. "And basically you refuse to share unless I tell you my reasons? So fine. I will tell you, if you tell me your reasons to want to know about mine." Draco was not going to give up anything without first gaining something. Draco turned from the vampire, heading over to the book cases his left hand going to the spines of the books, trailing over it as he walked down the shelves, examining each book as he passed.

Kaz's lapsed for a second before continuing to shine like a beacon in the dark, a reaction he was sure would not earn him any points with the unknown voice in the dark. He looked down at his arm, his first aid skills taking over, allowing him to assess the wound and discount it for superficial and not life threatening, unless of coarse he had been poisoned, but if that was the case, nothing could be done about it now. So he smiled. He knew more about the digivices then most should know, having spent much of his time here in the digital world, listening to Gennai ramble about them. He knew they were merely catalysts and not the source of a tamer's power. That a tamer of the purity gained strength from the bond formed by their heart with others. He boldly stepped forward, following Toan in silence, his smile never faltering. His unnaturally high spirits not even dampened by the scare tactics. Besides if the unseen meant to have him dead, then he would not be here to smile as he did. So he knew for now he was not going to die. Besides this castle was the antithesis to everything he'd immersed himself in since coming to the digital world, and now just as Toan had declared, his curiosity would be sated.

The female voice hissed in anger and then faded like a ghost in the darkness, her presence however stayed, like the faint shadow of a predator in the dark, stalking its prey soundlessly. Toan and Kaz moved on, their breaths soaring in the air like tiny clouds before they too vanished. Astamons boots echoed softly as he trotted across the barren landscape, but no matter how far he or the tamers walked or where they went, they got nowhere. They were stuck. The voices around them whispered, out there somewhere like wind and rain together, words rising and falling in volume until it sounded as if hundreds of beings were whispering or yelling at each other in languages long forgotten by man, a thunderous boom mixing with the shrill scream of arctic winds in a battle that tore and shook the void so hard that the ground below the humans feet arched like a monster waking from slumber. The horrible noises reached a crescendo … and then stopped, suddenly, from one moment to the other. When the blessed silence finally came, it sunk into the ground like a pressure of its own; created a chocking world devoid of any sound at all, like a fake plastic world mocking the true one beyond the horizon. The beings circled the boys like hungry sharks, for a second Kaz caught the glitter of glowing red eyes in the black mists before they were gone once more. Mira had started crying; warm tears ran from her baby blue eyes in silent streams of fear and panic as she shivered and pressed closer to Toan with horrified whimpers “I-I .. I want m-my mommy” The female voice, so close this time, let out a saddened ´Awww..´ `Poor baby` The woman huffed in annoyance, as if Toan had done something incredibly stupid… or bad.. But no claws descended on Toans body like they had Kaz, so he was safe.. for now ´You may go. Tell the child not to fear … But the angel spawns digimons, the stay here! Every single one, and both digivice and packet, he may ONLY keep, the fox hidden in his jacket´
Most of the books Draco passed were English story books, Kaya´s shelves apparently, since they were the ones she could reach herself. The language ranged from English to German and Latin, some of the books were in Spanish as well, it seemed as if every language in the world was here in its written form. The vampire looked up briefly but turned his gaze back to the book soon after “I have no reason. I would not tell you of Sulaimon even if you did tell me of the story behind your little quest” A smirk curved the vampires lush lips and for a second his eyes shone with a sudden inner gleam that made the vampire look both younger and perhaps a little… amused “I merely dislike humans”
A new voice sounded from the other end of the library, a deep male voice, softer and lighter than Myotismons and with a pleasant feel to it “Oh not all humans Myo-chan, I seem to recall a certain redhead who has melted that cold heart of yours many a time” The vampire jolted slightly, startled eyes shifting from the red book to the door where Angemon stood, leaned against the doorframe with a very smug looking cat at his feet. The Angemon looked like any other of his species except for his hair which seemed to be split into two colors, dark blond and light blond, and a purple virus mark adorned his left shoulder like a mark burned into the white flesh “Please tell the boy what he wants to know so we can leave, it has been a long journey and I am anxious to see how the others fared doing my absence” The angel gave the vampire a knowing look and Myotismon turned to Draco with a suffering sigh as he eyed the angel with a soft, pleasant smile “Very well. To make a long and terribly boring story short- Sulaimon was once one of the most powerful ancient digimons in the digital world. He was somewhat… obsessed with the thought of power and spend most of his time seeking more. He discovered a new type of raw material, very rare and extremely hard to find, and named it Deliace-Diamonds, after his youngest daughter. He created a mine on the spot where he found the first diamonds but never got to use their power. He disappeared shortly after his discovery, no one has ever found out why but he is believed to be dead. His daughters, son and wife looked for years but they never found the mine. Many have sought it trough the ages since the diamonds granted the user powers beyond ones wildest dreams, but only 3 beings in the digital world knows where the mine is and.. well..” Myotismon send the little boy sleeping next to one of the book shelves a pointed look “You seem to be in possession of one”

Toan wanted to flick the women off but didn't think that would help there situation. He stabbed his staff into the ground as he bent down and patted Mira on the head. "Don't cry, we'll see her soon. Just wait a bit longer" He then turn his direction to Kaz "I guess we have no choice but for you to listen to her. You have to leave everything behind, but the Viximon. And I'm sure that they would remain undisturbed when you return, right?" Toan asked the insane woman with a bit of a threat in his voice, as if he was asking a naughty kid to be good or else.

Richter gave her a flirty grin before he spun on his heels and walked to the door. The knocking increased in volume again, and the temptation surged in Richter's conscious to let the rude b*****d think that no one was there.
Alas, out of the impatience that drove him so strongly, he twisted the large golden knob on the door, and pulled it open to see the guest at the door.

Draco normally would have taken a look at any of the books that interested him. But he had to focus on Myotismon. He turned, about to reply when he was cut off before he began. He closed his mouth, looking over at the Angemon. He hadn't expected any help from another digimon. Draco smiled as he 'won' the battle against Myotismon, even if he needed reinforcements. The Story of Suliamon was fascinating to Draco, a super powerful digimon who ruled the world, and he was to find his mine. Wait did Myotismon just say that the boy he had dragged here knew where the mine was? Well that was no fun. He didn't want a guide. "Really? He knows...." Draco looked over at the boy on his shoulder, "maybe I should put him down."

Kaz nodded, "Fine, but I shan't be leaving them on the ground." He fiddled around with the digivice, until it beeped, flashing a bright portal into existence behind the group. He handed the devices to Persiamon, nodding, and handing the specified items to her, watching as she moved into the portal, returning to their base with Gennai. Kaz stood back, up, clutching viximon close. His happy grin still failing him when a poker face would have served him infinitely better, but he couldn't help it. He believed that the darkness saw him as a threat, an unknown element. It was curious of him too, so it was allowing him to continue on, but it was just as weary of him as he had been earlier. It had required he remove items that could increase his unpredictability. The darkness had seemed sure his digivices were useless, but still seemed to fear them. His digimon wasn't the most common of digimon, so he had been required to send them away, leaving him with his seemingly most harmless one. The best part however was that the dark had left him his greatest single ally. The dark had no way of knowing that the pendent that had fused with this viximon had completely changed her digivolution line. At this point only Kaz knew what she would be digivolving into, and the purity of his heart's power needed no catalyst to activate his friends power.
((First off you mentioned a packet? Not sure what that is... second off due to the wonky way in which I digivolved viximon, her digivolution path is... Vixi->Rena->Leomon (X)->superstarmon->Susanoomon->Chronomon holy mode.... this skips the reg leomon stage, and the gatomon and swanmon, or whatever armor digivolve I did, steps.... I chose which of the 1 digivolutions per level I preferred, and if needed I won't use chronomon to be fair since susanoomon is a mega too and I prefer to use him....))

(Well lets end it at this. When Pummel gets back online she will tell Endinglight how it works, since she is the RP Mod/God. And if you want to continue to talk you could use PMs, just not to fill up the Threads with OCC text.)
