Slick Southpaw Meromictic Slick Southpaw ...forgot that nursing labs involve experimenting on each other and forever thankful that despite the long lecture about usage of rectal thermometers we aren't gonna practice using them... Although I'll never look at red thermometers the same way ever again.
Also, the more I learn about medicine the more I don't wanna be a patient in the hospital ever again.
That seems like it would be so awkward... >> And now I don't want to go to the hospital even more. XD emotion_donotwant you have no idea. Especially when the older nurses talk about their experiences when on patients and using it as a reason why hospitals need to update to evidence based nursing. emo Bursting the babies' bowls was such a sad story. At least the guy going to the ER because of fail self enema was hilarious.
Protip: Nurses believe in sanitation more than doctors and generally wash their hands more from patient to patient. Also, waterless antibacterial stuff is weaksauce. That poor baby. ;.;
And I really do try to avoid seeing the doctor. XD I'll only go if the pain is so bad that I can't focus or a bandaid isn't going to fix the problem.
For example, I was leaving a friend's ranch once and when closing the gate, my sister dropped the metal pole on my pinky finger. I was trying to move the clasp so the pole would fall straight down there was a piece that stuck out that went into the clasp. That's what hit my hand.
My finger swelled to about three times its size. But it didn't hurt/bleed at all. So, I figured it was all good. Plus we were at least an hour away from any hospital that I knew of. XD Legit couldn't move it for almost a month.
I didn't even tell my mother until she noticed the discoloration. <<;;

AliceLoathesWonderland I am shaking so bad. A huge fight between my brother and his now ex friend just happened. My brother broke the other guys face and then my brother was being held down by some other guy and got kicked in the face. I had to go out there and say I'm calling the cops if they don't gtfo our property. ffuuuuuck There is blood evrywhere.
They'll be friends again in 3 days.
The vast majority of the fights I've been in have been with my friends, and let me tell you, I have a lot of fighting experience.
