Probably not. Self-dye jobs tend to be bad quality. Professional quality is done at a salon and lasts pretty long, and it tends to look BLACK, not like paint (Hot Topic dye.)
I say go for it, but I like the blond. Maybe if you just get black tips, but that's just a suggestion.

....i would die....
im gonna get dark brown and then slowly dye it from the back under hairs to all the way to the front then i could call it natural and dye it black

...good point but im gonna use dye that doesnt have a BIG chance of back firing......ya know.....stuff from Walgreens of rite aid.....

I use stuff from CVS or Walgreens. Professional dyes can cost upwards of $65.
