Amy looked up at Smok. "I think he's trying to tell you something, Kits. Try to do that thing I suggested a little bit ago. Say or do something and tell Smok to squeak when you're getting closer. He's trying to communicate with you right now, I think. He's just getting frustrated now. I've seen Thistle act that way before many times when she can communicate what she wants."

Amy watched Smok's actions and then just threw a possibility out. "Well, he's pointing to your chest it looks like, in a way. So maybe your heart? And maybe his? Maybe he means you have to really mean it with your whole heart when you say it? Connect your two hearts together? That's all I've got."

Amy shrugged her shoulders as well. "Neither do I. Sorry, Kits."

Amy suddenly noticed that there was no noise behind her any longer. She turned around and looked at the man putting his tools back in his tool box. He seemed to be the boss of the team. Before she could ask anything, though, the man spoke.

"We're done here, miss. Remember, if you have any problems at all, you give us a call and we'll fix it, no charge."

Amy smiled and nodded. "I will. Thank you very much."

The man smiled slightly and nodded to her before leaving with his crew.

Amy walked into the kitchen and smiled brightly. The men had even cleaned up after themselves. The kitchen looked amazing with the dark granite counter tops.

"This looks beautiful!"

Amy smiled and nodded. "It is. I'll have to keep that company's phone number in my cell."

She glanced at the clock and her smile grew wider. "Karrie should be home soon! You're staying for supper, right? I had to order in since I couldn't use the kitchen, but it's from a nice restaurant. But I ordered with you in mind."

Amy smiled brightly. "Great!! I was planning on giving you your gift after supper. We could watch a movie, too, if you wanted!"

She looked over at Gwee when she heard what he said and then noticed that he was looking at Smok.

"Smok has been trying to communicate with us, Gwee, but we can't understand what he's trying to say."

Amy looked at Gwee, a little surprised that he was looking at her and telling her this instead of Kits.

"Well, I tried suggesting that she did with what she said to him earlier, but Kits said that she told Smok she wanted him to get bigger. He didn't, though, so we're at a loss."

Amy's eyes widened slightly. "Wait... You're saying, Smok is saying that Kits made him small, like she used magic?"

Amy smirked slightly and shrugged, looking back over at Kits. "Maybe your powers are growing. Maybe you can change all animals now, any kind?"
