As Nira dragged out the last deer corpse, she would pause with wide eyes as a terrifying, inhuman screech filled the air. And it wasn't the kind of scream that Pretenders gave. It wasn't the wail that Shriekers gave to alert the herd of the horde. Or other Pretenders. No. This was something-something she-she wasn't familiar with. At all. "Something...coming..." She whispered to herself. Looking around as she took a few steps before turning and running back towards the farm house. Whatever it was, Nira didn't know it and that was scary. Truly scary. She needed to warn them.

@Raph & Co.: Zoey shuddered a little at seeing the venison meat. All bloody and raw. Taking a deep breath, Zoey decided she would tend to it later. Or let Raph do it. Yeah. She'd let Raph take care of it.

Raph was cleaning the meat and packaging it up to freeze it. He saw Nira running back from the kitchen window. She looked scared. That worried him. Nira was never scared. She was practically a master of her environment. Something was up. He waited for her to enter the house to ask her.

Nira shot one more glance behind her, waiting. Listening. Watching. When she didnt hear anything or see anything, she hurried inside without much thought to anyone else feeling comfortable or not around her. "Something out there! Nira not know it!" She said quickly. This made Zoey look to her quickly as she got up and hurried over.

"Are you sure?" Nira looked at Zoey and nodded frantically.

Hovering over the deer corpses and sniffing the air, stood creatures of bone. All skin and bone like. Sinew and muscles, torn rotten flesh hanging from exposed blackened bones. Their eyes hollowed out. Empty and black. Noses missing and exposing the bone cavity. Even from here Nira could smell just how dead these things were. And still....still a chill was sent through her body. "We go...we go now..." Nira said quietly.

Seeing the things move so quickly had him look a bit surprised. He turned and picked Nira up slinging her around so she was riding his shell piggy back before taking off quickly. Years of training and jumping from roof to roof had given him a good bit of speed, though no where near as fast as Mikey. He got a good bit of distance between him and the weird zombie skeletons as he made his way to the farmhouse. Once there, he let Nira off of his back at the kitchen door, shoving her in and closing it, then headed for the barn to try and divert the things attention. He had a family to protect in the farm house and wanted none of those things getting in.

"Get Splinter to a room and do the same. Barricade it and keep yourselves safe till Leo comes to relieve you, then heas out and help Raph." She said quickly before looking to Donnie. "What weapons do we have on deck?"

And still....still a chill was sent through her body. "We go...we go now..." Nira said quietly.

"Nira......they look like ya could give em one push and they'd fall apart." Raph said shaking his head. He then sighed. She'd never steered him wrong the whole time he'd known her and he knew she wasn't normally afraid of other zombies. She even acted like Finley was no big deal. No. It was better to be careful. He finally nodded a little. "Aight. Takin ya word on this, kid. C'mon." he said quietly heading back for the farm house.

Nira shot him a damn greatful look as she gently pulled him back and got up to her feet. As Nira took a step back, she froze with a sharp breath as a twig snapped below her. The creatures instantly looked her way and sniffed the air before, as one, letting out a terrible, bone chilling, heart stopping shriek. "Run!" Was the only thing she could say before doing just that as the creatures lunged and chased with unnatural speed.

Seeing the things move so quickly had him look a bit surprised. He turned and picked Nira up slinging her around so she was riding his shell piggy back before taking off quickly. Years of training and jumping from roof to roof had given him a good bit of speed, though no where near as fast as Mikey. He got a good bit of distance between him and the weird zombie skeletons as he made his way to the farmhouse. Once there, he let Nira off of his back at the kitchen door, shoving her in and closing it, then headed for the barn to try and divert the things attention. He had a family to protect in the farm house and wanted none of those things getting in.

Once Nira was inside, pay sprang to her feet with shouted orders. "Mikey! You and your brothers start barricading doors and windows! Nira, take Yumi up to the attic and barricade it. That door doesn't own unless it's me or Xena."

"Nira understands!" She said, before nudging the smaller half zombie to the stairs for the attic and Zoey turned to Xena.

"Get Splinter to a room and do the same. Barricade it and keep yourselves safe till Leo comes to relieve you, then heas out and help Raph." She said quickly before looking to Donnie. "What weapons do we have on deck?"

Yumi looked confused, but went with Nira while Donnie and Mikey ran to get items they could to board up the house.

"We have our regular weapons as well as shuriken, but that's all." Leo said. "Casey was never big on guns, so there are none."

Zoey chuckled and shook her head. "No....no he wasn't." She gave a fond smile before nodding her head. "Gear up, boys." Zoey then went to go upstairs and look through rooms for a vantage point to discreetly see what they were up against before pausing and looking back at Leo curiously. "....Did y'all grab my kursarigama?"
