Luca remained confident that she could get her friend to go, her broad grin and the shimmer in her eyes still beaming at Sylva. "Oh come on, I can't go alone! Parties like that are only fun if you have someone to bring along with you and enjoy the company of." For a few minutes, she simply stared confidently at the woman, as if a part of her was waiting for her to give in to the insistent look and agree to come along. In that time, several pairs had come and gone, either handing back the flier or disappearing as the Abra warped them to Kalos.
When a group of five made that trip, it seemed that the swordswoman had given up on that plan of action. With a sigh, she leaned back and stood up straight, but her smile didn't fade--if anything, it only got more mischievous. "Alright, fiiine, I won't try to convince you to go..." Luca glanced down as she started to speak, lowering her head as she rolled her shoulders once or twice, before her gaze shot back up with a devilish grin. With her teeth now showing, the taller woman suddenly shot forth, disappearing from view for a moment as she ducked underneath Sylva's sight. In the next, the silver-redheaded trainer quite literally swept her partner off her feet, picking her up and lifting her in a bridal-carry style. "So I'll just take you there by force~"
With all the confidence and cheer of a Cheshire Cat, Luca moved forward to talk with the Abra, eager to get them going before Sylva had a chance to struggle out of her grip. "'Scuse me, would you mind transporting us to this winter gala thing?"

Despite the early morning, by the time Naomi's boat docked he could already see dozens of people milling about, moving around, and getting on with their life. It was peaceful, in its own way, and as he departed he was careful to avoid running into anyone. "You remember the way back to Route 2, don't you?" Rotom inquired, joining Naomi from behind. The trainer looked over to the city, a thoughtful look on his face, before he turned his attention to Rotom and nodded in assurance, "Yes, I do." Even if it had been several days since he'd last visited the city, his memory of the city's layout still remained.

Directions confirmed, there was nothing else to do but start walking. Naomi was careful to pick the street less occupied, decreasing his probability of bumping into someone, while also freeing him up to do a bit of thinking. He hadn't battled another trainer since leaving home, which made him worry that he'd become a bit... rusty, not to mention the fact that he had yet to confirm the battling styles with at least two members of his party; equally as important. Of course, he had the option of simply postponing his trial and working with his team some, but he'd already spent several days within Alola and had yet to make any sort of tangible achievement; his parents wouldn't be pleased. Not to mention, he already had the idea in his head, and was far too excited by it to wait any longer than necessary. After confirming his plans, Naomi placed his attention back into traveling, and to actually watching where he was going. They were getting closer to Route 2, with the Pokemon Center coming into view, but he found himself stopping just short of the red-topped building and taking the time to release his remaining party members; they deserved the chance to stretch their legs, after all. Naomi waited long enough for everyone to get settled, Sousa stretching his wings out before taking to the sky, and Empress Jingū skipping back over to Mori after a short exploration of a gated off area nearby, before he started moving again. He'd only taken five steps, however, when he realized that not everyone was with him and quickly spun around, worried, to try and find his missing party member. It was easy enough to do, considering Mori was right where he'd left him, asleep on the ground, and Naomi backpedaled to pick up the feline. "You have been more tired than usual," he noted, and rubbed him gently underneath the chin. Mori only meowed drowsily in response, and remained conscious just long enough to settle himself within his trainer's arms before falling back asleep. Naomi eyed the Litten, curiously, before eventually sliding his gaze away and continuing forward.

It felt incredibly awkward to be followed by Solgaleo. It was a legendary of this region, and he was still not sure what was so interesting about him that the big cat had decided that he wanted to follow along. He felt like every move he made was being judged. It was pretty unnerving. "Aren't people going to see you...?" Ducky asked quietly as they got closer to the city. Solgaleo continued to pad along side him, glancing down. "Should they not?" he questioned. If the lion had eyebrows, Ducky imagined one of them would be raised. It wasn't often that a situation would fluster Dakota, but this happened to be a rare occasion. "W-well... I mean... Um... Isn't it going to draw a lot of unneeded attention if you just stroll down the street with me?" Ducky rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, flush with embarrassment. He may have liked attention, but this was not how he liked going about getting it. Not to mention, wouldn't it be intimidating to some that he had a Solgaleo with him? And getting him through the pokemon center doors would be a hassle too. "Would you prefer I hide until you are done your task in the city?" Solgaleo rumbled, coming to a stop to turn and face Dakota. "Yes. Please. I won't be long." Ducky jumped on the offer like a starved rat jumping on a crumb of food. "Very well, Dakota." Solgaleo stated, then stalked off into the tall bushes nearby, hiding himself from view. Jun just finished dispatching yet another fossil pokemon that disappeared right after, then returned to her trainer's side in time to see the legend disappear into the vegetation.
Ducky sighed, then made his way into the city, making right for the pokemon center. He really needed some help here. He had his pokemon healed up once inside, flipping through his contacts while waiting for his pokemon to be returned to him. It didn't take long to find Ezra in his contacts, and he opened up a new message. Text to Ezzy: Hey there, rugged charm~ Long time, no see! I've started my own journey in the Alola region, and ... well, I was wondering if maybe you could give me a tour? Maybe even a history lesson? It'd be nice to see you again, Ezzy~ Ducky sent the message, then retrieved his pokemon. After moving out of the way, he checked on Kenshin now that he was healed. The chimera still seemed weary, and Ducky attempted to give it a reassuring pat. "I'm not sure what you've been through before running into me, but I think you should relax more." He told it. Kenshin seemed to give him an incredulous look. Dakota took this moment to reach into his bag, pulling out a sweet heart and offered it to Kenshin to appease him. Even as he saw it happen, Ducky still wasn't sure how the chimera managed to consume the chocolate with that metal helmet on. Kenshin seemed a bit happier now, and Ducky returned him back to his ball so that he could relax. He'd have to get back to Solgaleo pretty soon, so he hoped that Ezra wouldn't take very long with a reply.

While waiting for a reply from Ezra, Ducky heard talk of a gala taking place, and how there was transportation set for anyone that wanted to attend. Though, that would require formal clothing. It seemed like it could be fun to go to the ball, but he wanted to get just a little further in his journey in Alola first. And hopefully find out more about why this Solgaleo was keen on following him. Ducky was relieved when Ezra's reply came in rather quickly. He opened it to give it a read. At this point, Dakota was just waiting for Ezra to arrive. He was excited to have the chance to see his old friend again. The draconid did a lot of traveling, so he had been surprised that Ezra did not know it well enough to give him a tour himself. He wondered if he might know anything about the Solgaleo that seems to be acquainted with his clan, then. Was it worth asking about? Ducky wasn't quite sure what to think.
"Hmm... you seem more adorable than I remember." a familiar voice said from behind him, Ducky turning with a big smile to face Ezra. He was a tall, well built man with short black hair and a single golden eye, the other eye concealed beneath an eye patch. At least in Ducky's opinion, there was something roguishly handsome about Ez, the rough and low tone of his voice only supporting that notion. "And you're still a sight for sore eyes~" Ducky chimed in response. It's been quite some time since he's last seen Ezra, yet he could still feel the heat trying to rush to his face as he recalled their past interactions. They had all been very fun. Ezra was certainly no Jian, but was still rather exciting to hang out with, with the way he seems to be in control of each situation.
"Flattery and greetings aside, it seems you are in need of some help here in Alola? Didn't you get one of those Rotomdex?" Ezra broke Ducky from his thoughts, moving the conversation along. Ducky responded with a sheepish grin, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, I did but... Akira, my rotom, is not intimately knowledgeable about Alola. It only seems to know strictly facts about the pokemon as they are scanned. With that said, it'd be nice to have someone along with me that knows the lay of the land and some history of the areas." he said with a sigh.
A contemplative hum emanated from Ezra briefly as he considered Ducky's words. "Are you sure this isn't just a ruse to have me to yourself, little duckling?" Ezra teased, a playful glint in his golden eye. "N-no! ... well... um, maybe it was a little bit like that but... I'm serious! I'd really truly like to learn more about this region as I travel through it, and I thought a companion could be useful!" Ducky lied at first, a bit flustered before correcting himself honestly. This earned a rather hearty chuckle from Ezra, which only added to Ducky's flustered feelings. "No need to feel ashamed, Duckling." Ezra grinned. "Oh, I'm not ashamed at all. You should know that by now..." Ducky mumbled. Indeed, he wasn't ashamed by his ulterior motives. It's getting caught and having to admit them out loud that had caught him off guard. Another chuckle left Ezra's lips. "Well then... if that's how it is, maybe we should take our conversation somewhere more... private." Ezra suggested in a low, husky tone that sent shivers down Ducky's spine. The younger samurai felt a bit like jello hearing the other's words, merely nodding before getting a room key from the nurse at the counter.
Once in the room together, Dakota continued to catch up with Ezra. It was mostly Ducky telling Ez about how he had gone on his own to set off on this adventure, some of the work he's done in order to afford the trip, mentions of some of the people he's met along the way, including Lana. In contrast, Ezra was more vague about what he shared, seeming much more interested in Ducky than talking about his own activities. One thing led to another, and catching up suddenly became a lot more intimate. Not that Ducky had any complaints about that.
After that breath-taking activity - and once clothes were back on and dirty comments came to an end - Ezra held a pokeball out to Ducky. "Her name is Lucina. She's a very special Gardevoir, and she knows much more about this region than I do. I hope she will be of great help to you." Ezra told the other male. Dakota blinked, graciously accepting the pokeball. He'd never dealt with a Gardevoir before, but he assumed it would be interesting. It wasn't all too surprising that Ezra had one, given that the draconid had an affinity for psychic types. "What do you mean by 'very special'? Is she just unique in appearance or what?" Ducky asked, tilting his head a bit. "She has an unusual typing. She is a dragon and psychic type. And a rather unique appearance, as well. I expect you will take good care of her." Ezra elaborated.
Ducky felt rather honored to be trusted with such a pokemon by the draconid. "I knew I could count on you to help me out, Ezzy~ Thank you! I will treat Lucina quite well." he promised Ezra, finding room in his active party to place her pokeball for the time being. Ezra merely nodded in response. "So... there's a winter gala going on. I know you said you wouldn't be able to give me a tour around Alola, but maybe you could join me at the ball?" Ducky asked, remembering the talk of the event from earlier while waiting for texts."Interesting... Sorry, duckling. I'm afraid that scene is not for me. Besides, I should be getting back soon." Ezra replied with a bit of a stretch. It was time he got going, on that note. He had a sneaking suspicion that he would not be welcome in such a place as the gala, anyways. Ducky pouted, but sighed and accepted the answer. "Ah, your rejection stings so much- I'll forgive you though, since we've had so much fun~" Dakota smiled with a wink. A light laugh emanated from Ezra's throat. "Heh... well then. Keep in touch, Duckling." Ez said his farewells and left.
With Ezra gone, Ducky flopped back on the bed with a sigh. He was, to put it lightly, quite satisfied. It had felt like ages since he's been able to have someone to himself like that. He reached up to brush his fingers up against his shoulder, wincing a bit at the bruise that was starting to form there from a bite. He hadn't minded the rough treatment at the time, but now he was going to be a bit sore for a while. After a bit more reminiscing on his most recent bedroom venture, Ducky realized something. "s**t!" he cursed, jumping to his feet. He had forgotten that he had left Solgaleo waiting, having told him that he wouldn't be long. In fact, he had been in the pokemon center for quite some time now. He hoped that the beast didn't find him disrespectful, or possibly worse- circling the pokemon center and attracting more attention than necessary. Dakota gathered up his things and rushed out of the pokemon center.
"Dakota. You've kept me waiting." Solgaleo telepathically stated to the Suanni as the lion saw him exit the red roofed building to enter the path on which they had separated. He remained hidden for the most part, just his face barely visible beneath a large leaf. Ducky stopped just in front of the bushes, bowing apologetically and catching his breath. "Sorry! I didn't expect to be long but-" Ducky started to explain, but was cut off. "No need for excuses, Dakota. You are here now, at least. You ... are finished with your business, right?" Solgaleo interrupted. For a moment, Ducky felt himself panic. Solgaleo was a psychic type, right? He wasn't looking into his mind to see exactly what he had been up to, was he?
"I believe he is done for now." an unfamiliar voice chimed in. Ducky jumped, turning around to see a very interesting looking gardevoir behind him. Lucina must have decided to leave her ball during the commotion. "Ah, Lucina..." Ducky sighed, starting to feel like both psychics must know by now exactly what he had been up to that took him so long. Lucina crossed her arms across her chest, almost as if to confirm Ducky's concerns. "... Very well. Onwards, young suanni." Solgaleo stated stoically. Dakota sighed, leaving the city with the two psychics and his starter by his side.

They had grown up in Ocepulid, so it wasn't as though they were from a small town. However, both twins were in awe of how crowded the city was. Stepping into the broadwalk the twins hands found each other's. Dana clung closer to her sister as the people around them became more and more. Sana for her part grabbed at the necklace around her neck and began to fidget with it.

Erryn didn't want him becoming...tele-ill? Yeah. That was what she was going to call it."Okay. Let's get Cuno out to fix the casing."Erryn got out Articuno's ball and let the ice bird out. It looked around before ruffling it's feathers and approaching Bryant, taking the cloth the egg was wrapped in to cool it down in its feathers again as Riolu set the egg down to be iced. Articuno really did take good care of the egg. Erryn wondered if it was the bird's or if it just had a strong parental instinct.

Erryn watched with bright eyes as Cuno used an Ice Beam on the egg. Ice Beam was supposed to be a powerful move, wasn't it? Cuno didn't even have it as a move it could use in battle yet. It was fascinating how Pokemon could still use whatever move was suitable to them, but then in battle, something triggered that caused them to stop using it. Though, Cuno used Ice Beam against the bad guys. So, maybe it had something to do with her? Balance between trainer and Pokemon?"Coo.""I think that means it's done. Guess that means we can start training now."
It seemed that the pair of trainers must've arrived at the ball far later than they realized. Before Luca could get a verdict on taking pictures of all the interesting people and pokemon to pass the time, an announcement ran through her mind. The party has reached its conclusion, was all that went through her head before she felt the same force that willed them there once again overtake her body. She blinked, and the next thing she knew, they were back in Alola. Right where they left.
But the girls didn't get much of a chance to think about that before they fell to the floor, having been dropped off a few inches into the air from where they came from. Luca fell on her back and felt the cool leather of her guitarist's jumpsuit back on her body, their clothes evidently returned to them after transit. Though she hardly had time to think on it when her companion soon dropped onto her from above, leaving the two girls laid out on the floor.

Camera at the read and feeling somewhat eager to take photos, Sylva had waited. But before she could even lift the camera up to her eye for a photo; poof, they were no longer in the ballroom. A voice echoed in her head... telling her the event was over. It'd felt like they'd only just arrived... but that was just how those types of events went. She was happy to be out of there, but not so much about the landing.
Appearing mid-air, the two girls toppled to the floor, Luca landing first, while Sylva landed half-way on top of the woman. Sylva slowly opened her eyes, feeling her body being lifted at an angle. One hand tucked uncomfortably under her body, while her other hand... was someplace else. Looking up, she noticed Luca beside her. Back in her overly revealing jumpsuit.. her hand coping a feel. Mildly panicking, she rolled away, quickly sitting up, her gaze held on Luca, her face turning warm up to her ears... perhaps even a bit red.
She felt her hand graze something beside her, and after gripping what felt like cold steel she rose it over her head. "Don't you say a damn thing or I'll toss this at you!" She threatened, not even realizing what she held was nothing more than an Exp. Share, which in terms of being harmful physically wasn't entirely applicable.

Luca sat back up fairly quickly, rubbing the spot where she'd hit the floor first. The swordsman hardly paid any mind to the thin hand cupping one of her partially-visible endowments, at least until Sylva seemed to catch up with what her body was doing. The young woman watched as her friend practically lept away like a cat, blushing from ear to ear. With such an extreme response, the redhead couldn't stop the older girl from letting out a sharp giggle at her behavior.
It certainly didn't help that midway through being threatened, Luca had already begun joking about it. "My my, how forward of you," she teased, grinning to match the space traveled by the red on Sylva's cheeks. "I figured you'd at least wait to make a day out of it but if that's how you wanna be..."
With a few more laughs, Luca rose to her feet without much fuss. She hardly recognized the EXP share as anything to worry about and promptly marched over to help her friend up. She didn't so much offer a hand as she simply reached down and pulled Sylva to her feet, gently setting her straight back up. "...Then we're gonna get arrested for public indecency. Probably. I'm not exactly an expert on Alolan law."
