Turning to face Dallas as she heard his voice grow louder as he approached her. "If not for how exhausted I was, I would of woken up before the sun." She replied quickly. "A knight likes to praise the sun." She added, grinning playfully. It wasn't likely that Dallas would understand that phrase, but it basically meant that knights got up before the sun to train while it rose, and once the sun was fully risen (roughly 7am) that meant it was time for breakfast and the first break in training they got. Thus they praise the sun. Temperance was no different. She rose before the sun and went to bed long after it set. An exhausting life as it was, it was necessary.
Regardless, the conversation quickly shifted to the Ponyta. Once the young mare had gotten up, it quickly left, perhaps heading back home. Temperance had to agree though. "Ponyta don't often act that way when spooked either." Temperance mentioned. At least the Ponyta back home didn't. Keeping that in mind she brought her thumb and forefinger to her chin. "The ones back home don't at least. But I do agree, It's a good thing Din managed to calm it down. Horses have a knack for returning home after being spooked, so hopefully that little one will find its harras." With that the subject of the Ponyta was filtered out. Temperance looked to Din, offering her a spritz from a potion to help her recover from that battle. The blonde's gaze returned to Dallas as he yet again called her by a new name. "When I said you could call me whatever you wanted, I did mean for you to at least stick to one of them." Though her tone was somewhat flat and serious, the smile on her face was a dead giveaway that she wasn't at all bothered by his slew of random nicknames. "Let's get going. I'm feeling confident from that previous gym battle." In agreement, the next stop was of course, the Gym.
As for the young Yukie and her current... companion, She was unnoticed by Temperance at first. The blonde, firstly busy with the Ponyta happening, and then with Dallas approaching her after the pony had run away, had no time to notice her. However, Din did. The psychic floated away at first, following after the horse to make sure it was really okay, but then caught something from the corner of her gaze... it helped being psychic as well and able to pick up on emotions. She sensed Yukie's flurry of emotions, along with Snow's. When Din floated back to Temperance to get some healing, the psychic noted that she'd seen them. Temperance of course grew upset, but quickly hid it away. In the back of her mind a flurry of frustration and questions rose, thankfully Dallas was an unknowingly useful tool in pulling her mind away from her own troubles. Needless to say she was going to send only one more warning to Yukie. It never occurred to Temperance that Yukie had actually been in Eterna before her this entire time and this was just a poorly timed coincidence.

"Oh, I think we both know that I'm not gonna do that, Little Miss Lancelot," Dallas replied with a sassy jab. It seemed that Tamara was starting to loosen up a little bite, at least enough to not get upset at the different nicknames. Which was good, because Dallas was enjoying the challenge of coming up with nicknames for a royal guard's daughter. The monk he had met back in Alola was far to easy to ridicule, and a guy like Dallas loved a challenge. But, it looked like it was time to get moving. "Yeah, I know what you mean, Tam. Let's blow this joint." Dallas returned his Pokemon, and went ahead and walked with Tamara to where the gym was supposed to be.

It didn't take too long to get to the Gym. The imposing buildings that most gyms were made for an easy target to find in town. "Well, there it is. Wonder what kinda Pokemon they use here." Dallas quickly answered his own question when he glanced at the sign outside of the building: Eterna City Pokémon Gym Leader: Gardenia Master of Vivid Plant Pokémon! "Oh. Well, this'll be easy. Tell ya what, I'm gonna go ahead and get this Gardenia chick warmed up for ya." Dallas headed inside, ahead of Tamara, and took place at the challenger's position.
Once Gardenia was ready, Dallas decided to skip the trash talk, and go right for the battle; this leader gave of the idea that she wasn't going to be a pushover like Rourk was, so the thug figured he should focus on the fight. "Go, Turtwig!" Gardenia sent out the green, turtle-like Pokemon. "Alright, Beltigre! Show 'em how we do it!" The torracat emerged from her ball, and shot the turtwig a menacing stare. For just a second, the turtwig hesitated. "Right now, let's give 'em a Fire Fang!" Dallas made his command, and Beltigre followed it with ease, taking a huge flaming chomp onto the turtle's shell. She then threw it away from herself. It wasn't enough to knock it out, however. "Turtwig, reflect!" Turtwig surrounded himself in a barrier. It was gonna get harder to bust through with sheer force. "It's not gonna be enough to stop us! Do it again, girl!" Beltigre did just that, and even with the barrier, Turtwig was sent down.
Beltigre trotted back to her trainer to be returned, and Meloetta was given a go. I'm ready to do my best! Gotta fight harder than the rest! In response, Gardenia sent out Cherrim. The Cherrim was quicker, and soon set up another set of defenses via Safeguard. Oh dear...I can't lull her to sleep now...No matter! Let's dance! Dallas concurred, and the two did their best to beat the Cherrim. But, after getting seeded, it was clear that Meloetta just wasn't strong enough to win the fight. Feeling defeated, Meloetta sighed when Dallas returned her for Buns. As soon as Buns was struck with a flurry of magical leaves, Buns' Mirror Coat reflected them straight back, KOing Cherrim. "Good job cleaning up, Buns. Just one more to go!"
And the last was definitely the best. Roserade proved to be a dangerous opponent. Buns was paralyzed right off the bat, and had to suffer two hard hits from magical leaves. But, Buns and Dallas were still able to go for a heavy gambit: Using Buns' Loppunite, Dallas had Buns Mega-Evolve, and pulled off a magnificent Fire Punch that took the healthy Roserade down to looking ragged and wilted. But, it wasn't enough. Another blast of magical leaf, and Buns was down. "Damn!...Good work, Buns. Me and Beltigre will teach this punk what happens when you take out on of our crew!" Beltigre was sent back into the thick of it, and, though Roserade attempted to paralyze Beltigre, her instinct to fight mixed with her trainer's need for revenge lead to another Fire Fang, and a third and final faint. "Aw yeah! And that's how ya do it!"
Dallas glanced over at Tamara, and smirked. "You'd better wipe the floor with this chump, cuz I don't hang out with losers, okay?"

With one more random nickname, the group soon started for the gym. At least this nickname she remotely understood, as Lancelot was indeed a knight. The gym approaching, Temperance was going over various thoughts of the morning thus far. From Umbra, to Dallas, to Yukie. There was quite a lot on her mind, so much so that she nearly missed Dallas' first comment inquiring on what Pokemon the Gym specialized in. Drawing her attention to the sign Dallas was reading she noted it's saying. "Grass-types." She spoke, rather whispered to herself. Dallas then made a comment about getting the 'Gardenia chick warmed up' So he was going to once more challenge a gym? Well, now this was interesting. She hadn't suspected Dallas to once more aim to prove himself. Temperance smiled to herself, deciding to keep her thoughts to herself.
Following Dallas in, Temperance was rather taken in awe by how many plants surrounded the inner field. It was quite something. While she knew nearly nothing about plants herself, she did spot a few she knew the names of. However, her attention was taken from the flowers and onto the field. Dallas was already challenging Gardenia. Stepping to the side-lines she watched the battle unfold. It wasn't quiet as clean a victory as the previous battle, but Temperance did pick up a bit of a strategy while watching. Fire was her best bet. Thus, Daphnes was going to be her choice for this battle.
Once Dallas had claimed his victory, Gardenia turned to Temperance. "I will be challenging you as well." Temperance spoke. Gardenia held a look of eagerness with some worry in her eyes. Her Pokemon were certainly getting a workout today it seemed. Even still, the Leader returned promptly with a newfound determination in her gaze. "Let's do this." Temperance spoke, trying a bit less 'proper' call to battle.
The beginning started with Gardenia sending forward her Turtwig, while Temperance sent forward Daphnes. The small Bagon glared at his opponent. This was his first battle against another trainer's trained Pokemon. Needless to say he was very eager himself. "Turtwig, that looks like a physical attacker, use Reflect!" Gardenia called, initiating the battle. "Daphnes, hit it with Fire Fang!" Despite the reflect, Daphnes pushed forward, swooping around the turtle with his fangs ablaze. Gripping down hard on the turtle's shell, it cried out in pain from the attack. Boosted thanks to Daphnes' ability, at least Gardenia wouldn't have to worry about burn. The loss in power thanks to Reflect was going to be a hindering, but regardless thanks to Daphnes' typing there wasn't much else the turtle could do. Gardenia decided to just go ahead and skip to the offense. The leaves hit hard, but Daphnes' resilience kept him standing upright. Knowing her Turtwig was going to fall, Gardenia called for it's final move to be Sunny Day, likely to prepare for the next Pokemon coming out onto the field.
Indeed it was. The next Pokemon Gardenia sent forward was a Cherrim. The Small grass-type, covered in pedal-like skin opened to greet the sun, it's cheery appearance eager to battle along side its trainer. Daphnes, still raring to go eagerly awaited his own orders. Starting things off with Magical Leaf, Gardenia was in for just getting off damage. Daphnes took the hit, much like the Razor Leaf and launched forward at Temperance's command for another Fire Fang. It seemed that perhaps the sunny day wasn't quiet worth it, but Gardenia was only going to as much damage as she possibly could, as her last Pokemon was sure to fell the dragon once and for all. Daphnes' final foe stood before him, a fierce look in it's eyes. With a smug wave of it's rose-hand the Grass/Poison-type summoned a flurry of leaves that pelted Daphnes one by one. The Bagon laid down upon his belly, as if he'd been fainted. The smug rose-handed Pokemon approached to admire it's work, but not a few feet away did Daphnes leap back to this feet and ran head-first into the grass-type knocking it down and with fire-filled fangs the Dragon bit down as hard as he could. Once the Roserade had passed out, Daphnes followed. That rouse had taken the last of his strength.

Dallas took a seat in the spectator's section, and got ready to see Tamara duke it out with Gardenia. He wondered what she'd try to do; surely she wouldn't use Azelev, because of the type disadvantage. But, before he could get really invested in how the fight would go, Meloetta shimmied in her ball until Dallas let her out. "Hey, what's the big deal?" he asked. The Melody Pokemon was pouting angrily, her cheeks puffing out like a child. I was doing just fine, Dallas, she said an angry -yet still sing-songy- voice. I would've won, I'm sure of it! Dallas sighed, and attempted to pet Meloetta's head. She swatted his hand away, however; looks like this wasn't going to be an easy fix for the young thug. "No, you weren't gonna win," Dallas replied. The words hit Meloetta like a ton of bricks, but before she could rebuke him, her trainer continued. "That Gardenia isn't a pushover, and you're not as strong as her Pokemon. I just didn't want you to get smacked down out there. Buns had a better chance, so I though she might've been able to clinch it without any of you going down. Fact is, I really hate when you guys get KO'd. Feels like I didn't do my job right, ya know?" Meloetta stopped her tantrum for the time being, and looked at the rare sincerity Dallas was showing. Dallas...
"Besides, the only one that should be getting into constant fights is your boy, Dallas. That way you and the rest of the crew can stay nice an' pretty for contests, right?" Meloetta smiled, and nodded, and, when Dallas attempted to pet her, she allowed it, giggling in a cheerier tune as he did so. Okay, Dallas. I suppose you're right. Let's watch our allies win their fight! Dallas leaned back in his seat, and watched the fight as it continued on.
By the end of it, Meloetta was pouting again, because she just witnessed Tamara and Daphnes take out Gardenia's entire team in one single go. Dallas held his head in his hands, knowing that all of his good will for the muse just went down the toilet. Dammit, Tamara! Now I'm really gonna have to lay on the charm to get her to knock this s**t off.
I heard that! Don't curse, it's not nice! Dallas groaned, and got up to join Tamara after her battle was completed. Meloetta remained in the stands for a moment, but after realizing that being on her own was terrifying, she begrudgingly joined her trainer, even as her jealous streak continued. "Hey, not bad at all, Tamara!" Dallas called out to his companion. "I mean, there was no real flair or style, but you got the job done. End of the day, I guess that's good enough." He took a glance at her Bagon, and tutted. "We should probably get him to the center, lil' tough b*****d. Then we can figure out where we're going next. If we end up heading the same way, that is."

By the end of the battle, Temperance held her hands in such a tight fist, her knuckles had gone white..., well whiter. The fairly pale-skinned woman let out a heavy sigh when the Roserade fell, leaving Daphnes the winner. Stepping across to his side, she gathered the fallen Bagon in her arms. When she rose, Gardenia had approached her with the spoils of her victory. She was elated, but still worried about Daphnes. It was then Dallas appeared, giving words of praise and critisism. "Well, I'm not one to be flashy." She replied, giving him a smile. "But you're right. Daphnes did amazing, I would like to reward him when he wakes." She added. Pushing the Bagon up to her shoulder so that one arm tucked under his body, like one would hold a baby, she turned to Din, holding up the various items she'd received. "Could you put these away for me, please?" She asked. Din nodded, calling upon her psychic-typing to put the items away as Temperance had asked. "Back to the Pokemon Center we go than." With a nod, the blonde joined Dallas as they walked back towards the Pokemon Center.
They'd of needed to head back in the way of the Pokemon Center either way, as either of their given destinations lied in this direction. "So. Two badges down... I wonder where the next one is?" She inquired. Finding her hand freed, she pulled out her phone and with a few flicks of her thumb she was on a map app, looking over the Shinnoh Region. "You mentioned Floaroma at one point didn't you? That's actually in the opposite direction than where I need to go for my next badge." Temperance looked up to Dallas, a brow quirked. "What is your reason for going to Floaroma? Does it have to do with your... alter ego?" She inquired. A name like Floaroma, a mixture of Flower and Aroma didn't seem like a normal place a man like Dallas would hang out... Austin however. "If so, Then would you mind if I joined you? I could use with some training for the next badge. Daphnes managed to beat Gardenia by himself-that is true, but. I'm not sure what type the next gym leader uses, so I should be prepared for anything." Din could also use some training, the sprite had made it apparent she wasn't just here for show, she wanted to fight as well.

As they walked, Dallas listened to Tamara as she figured her next stop for her journey. It sounded like he and her would have to split up sooner than later. Which was all well and good for him; keeping company wasn't in his strong suit. And yet, when Tamara inquired about Floraroma, he felt a need to talk it up. "Well, there's a contest hall in Floraroma Town, and 'Austin' is due to compete in another contest pretty soon," he replied. "Event though there's a designated Contest League in Sinnoh, there's not many places to actually compete. So, the plan is to make a name for myself in that area before I, I mean, he tries for the bigger venue over in Hearthome City. I've started out pretty strong so far, so I can definitely sneak in an easier bout to train up some of my newer Pokemon, but I plan on making a real show by gunning for a Quaro Ribbon...I mean, Austin is." It was awkward, trying to untangle his two lives, especially since Tamara knew his secret.
As they continued to walk, Dallas was already trying to figure out what his strategy for the next bout would be, but he was quickly caught off guard when Tamara asked to come along. Seriously? I thought it was out of the way. Either she really needs the lessons, or she just enjoys my company. Yeah, definitely the former on that one! Dallas looked at Tamara with a cocky grin. "What, you wanna follow me around?" he asked mockingly. "Don't tell me you're falling for your teacher or some sorta doki-doki crap like that." He chuckled as he shook his head. "Nah, it's cool. I figure you still need some lessons, and I guess I did offer for you to see a real contest in action." By that time, they had made it to the center. "Let's get everyone patched up, and roll out. We can make it about halfway through Eterna Forest if we hustle."

So Temperance was correct in Dallas' intentions. There was a contest being held in Floaroma, which meant that was his only reason for going there. A part of her was very excited to see him in a real contest, she'd been curious about it since that small show at the Gala. Quaro Ribbon sounded like it was a fairly important one to obtain. After inquiring about joining him on this endeavor, the male made a joke about her 'falling' for him, much like Umbra had. She gave him a quick glare, but a smile quickly returned after he confirmed he didn't mind her joining. She was happy to hear this, being she was still interested in learning more about him. Not only this, but the transition between his alter ego and himself. It did hurt a bit though, hiding the fact that she too had an 'alter ego' of sorts. She wasn't entirely acting like a different person, but she certainly wasn't acting like a Princess either.
Once they made it to the Center Temperance nodded. "It shouldn't take long, Daphnes can continue to rest on our way to Floaroma if need be." She mentioned. heading into the center, it was only about twenty minutes later when their Pokemon were returned, fully healed and raring to go. With that, the duo could set out to the forest. There was no telling what could happen next.

If Sonoko made the connections and learned who Temperance really was. Well, Yukie couldn't imagine an outcome that didn't end with her getting shanked again. Not that she'd blame her. "It's complicated.""Isn't everything with you?" Sonoko remarked standing up and peeking out from behind the pillar. "Well she's gone now, so let's go." Yukie peered over the bush to double check. She was in fact long gone now. She stood, dusting herself off before noticing Sonoko was leaving her behind. A small sense of panic forced her into motioned rushing back to the fems side. "Don't leave me!" She complained looking back to see Bris catching up to her. Yukie paused long enough to scoop the Wooper into her arms to carry it as she often did before catching back up again. Mostly it was helping lug crap around town to and from some old as dirt wagon. Mostly berries and herbal medications, and sometimes Moo-Moo-Milks. Yukie would have thought Sonoko was some sort of smuggler had she not been signing paperwork for everything. It only occurred that afternoon, over lunch, that Sonoko was running her own business of sorts. She apparently lived out of the wagon. Traveling around the different regions selling goods she grew, gathered, or produced herself. Sonoko had been selling off as much as of her overstock as she could in order to make room to set up a small living space in the wagon for her. She'd not made that known until just a few minutes ago when she'd gone to buy Yukie a new bedroll to replace the one lost back at the castle.
"So the wagons like what, exactly, your house?" Yukie asked gingerly not wanting to provoke any further animosity between them that wasn't already there. Snoko had kept fairly quiet most of the days and Yukie hadn't been in a talkative mood herself but lunch prosed for an awkward silence she wanted to be rid of. "Yes, Havick. I live in the wagon." Yukie looked away realizing she didn't actually have anything else to talk about that came to mind and It irritated her that Sonoko was giving her the cold shoulder but what could she do about it? Yukie scowled glancing back to her salad. She didn't want it anymore but didn't like wasting food either. A flash of light introduced the Bidoof named Solva to Sonoko whom she quietly offered the greenery too. Sonoko didn't say anything until the Pokemon was done with its meal and Yukie had recalled it. "I've noticed you don't eat any meat but you'll eat cheese and drink milk?" It was as much a statement as it was a question. "I can't procced meats properly. They make me sick~""But you keep Jerky in your bag?" Yukie figured Sonoko had gone through her things by now. This just confirmed it. "In case I ever got lost in the wilds." The silence returned. Yukie had to do something to break it! "Where's the second gym in this region, you know?" The question seemed like bad small talk to her, but Sonoko perked up. Setting down her drink and collecting her trash onto her plate. "Why do you want to know?" Yukie felt like this had suddenly turned into an interrogation somehow. "I promised Verka and Riley I'd take on the gym leaders to~" Sonoko stood suddenly. Motioning to be followed. Yukie sighed but followed suit. After dumping their trash and rounding the city block they came face to face with a giant domed building with flower gardens scattered all about its edifice. Despite how good it would feel to curse Sonoko out for telling her to correct the past while refusing to let her put her past in the past. "Whatever, can we take an hour so I can challenge them or no?" Sonoko motioned for Yukie to go ahead and it honestly through her totally off guard. Wasn't she going to put some sort of restriction on her getting to battle the gym leader? Weird.
Yukie didn't like entering into a battle with no information to go on but if she had to guess this was either a bug, fairy or grass type gym. She also knew she was at a disadvantage now without the strongest members of her team to fall back on. Honestly, she didn't think she could win. Not with who she had on hand. They were good but maybe not Gym Leader good. But she couldn't turn back now, and she had no other pokemon to speak of so she had no real choice but to do her best with who she had on hand.
