"so what you wanna do next. I mean, we can relax until your class. I might sit in the back and watch" she smiled big.

Her stomach did a flip, as though something had happened. Her eyes opened wide. "I-I'm not sure how I know... but I-I think something just happened to Light..."

"We could head back to the infirmary and see if he's there. That's where all the wounded or physically exhausted go if they cant carry themselves back." X said

"although he wanted you to go to class, I think this is the exception to miss class and find him"

She tried to sound calm not really meaning to sound smart for once.

"yeah, im alright. Im starting to feel a headache though....I don't know why." she said rubbing her head.

"I can get rid of it for ya. I can use a little magic."
He let Ene take a step back before placing a hand on X's head. "It's a weak cura but strong enough to relieve headaches."
A green light began to pulse as the spell came into affect.

"What's cura?" Ene stared at his green pulsing hand curiously.

"It's a healing spell that you'll be learning soon. I think, instead of classes, I'm gonna ask Miss Sasha if she'd be willing to take you on as an apprentice." Light replied.

She opened her eyes wide. "Y-you're just going to hand me off to someone else? Really? I spent most of my life wondering if I had a father and-"

Light cut her off. "Stop right there! I never said I was handing you off. Besides, you'll still be nearby me. Anyways, I feel it best you learn from experience in something less violent. I don't want you going through what I did when I was your age."

She looked at the ground, a bit embarrassed that she had made a false assumption.

Light looked down at X then back to Ene. "Sorry if you thought the worst. I told myself years ago if I had a kid I wouldn't just make them fend for themself." He looked down to X again and grinned. "How's the headache? Gone?"

Ene stayed where she was obediently and without being told. "I'm sorry... I-I thought I was completely forgotten when Mother and Brother were both killed..."

"No apologies needed. I know exactly how you feel and what's done is done. Either of you eat yet?" He grinned, trying to bring a more upbeat air.

X watched as Light used cura on her, however it didn't seem to have affect
"Curing magics don't work on a nobody....which I am" X sighed
"Sasha always seems to be busy though."

He let go of the spell and frowned, putting his hand down. "Yeah, that'd be a hindrance."

Ene grabbed X's hand. "You'll be fine, won't you? We can always stop by the infirm-infi...medical place."

X looked to Light and Ene and tried to smile. She didn't know why the headache started, but she was starting to ignore it

"I'll be alright. Nurse Sasha doesn't really know what to do about them anyway." X said trying to cheer the two up, however she was horrible at lying, so she told the truth.

Light rubbed the back of his head and sighed. "Well, I guess we just roll with it."

Ene looked at Light then at X. She might have felt a little lost when X smiled. "What do we do now, then?"

"Well," Light sighed. "I'm gonna go see if I can get your stuff set up then I've got a class in about an hour so... just hang out with each other for a while?" Light shrugged.
Light turned to leave but turned around quickly. "Oh, yeah. Here's a copy of the dorm room key. Don't lose it."

"Uh, okay..." She held the key in her cupped hands.

"so anything you wanna do before class." she asked Ene.

"it gets to be very boring, but hey! I got a friend now!" she smiled grinning towards Ene.
