*snicker* Recent updates! My brother just saw me watching Ouran High School host club on the computer. I didn't know he could see and he said, "Whatever anime that was, it's REALLY gay."
I don't know if he meant gay in the "That teacher's so gay/That test was so gay/That french fry is sooooo gay" sense or the manlove sense, (The twins were fanservice-ing and Tamaki was generally flamboyant) but either way, I said, "Yep. And I love it."

Light travels faster than sound, so is this why... Well, my mother has no clue that I read/watch/love it. My dad, on the other hand, was with me when I purchased a Yaoi Manga - not realizing the store clerk would mention what the manga was about. He began to tell my dad, saying 'only someone over 18 years of age can purchase this' because '...'. You get the idea? My dad smiled and said 'then I'll buy if for her'. I was shocked. Apparently, he thinks this is alright because when he was young, he looked at female/female and there was nothing wrong with that, right? I don't think he understands how graphic Yaoi can be, but he knows I like it. Thank god he hasn't told anyone else though. xD
...Some people appear bright until they speak?

I know my mom knows, and she doesn't care.. a ton of her friends are gay. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if she told me she'd flipped through some of my books. xp
I'm pretty sure my dad knows too, because I've complained to him about DMP calling everything they publish yaoi when it actually isn't, and when you do that you kind of have to explain the terms or it makes no sense to whoever you're complaining to. And they're going to assume you read the things if you care that much. But I don't think he really wants to hear about it.. not that he's not open-minded about it, he is. Just not the kind of thing most straight guys like having shoved in their face.

My mom doesn't mind at all. She knows I like it and she supports that. Mainly because a whole bunch of my mom's friends are gay.
What can I say. My mom works in the Musical Theatre. xd

They do not know. I'm pretty sure that would be very bad if they did. They're... how do you say? Religious... -_-;;

Let me hear the melody...
It's not my mom who knows it. Heck, she's at the other side of the world from where I am now.
Dad learnt about it, and he didn't mind. He know the shounen-ai part but the yaoi part, I guess not. But I'm not into yaoi that much. (I'm young. XP)

i'm currently hiding it from them. my dad knows i'm reading manga online but he doesn't know that i'm reading yaoi which is a good thing. my sister knows though and i figure she wouldn't care. she said that i took up all her computer space by downloading tons of manga and it's true. i don't really care about that either. she would never understand what it's like to get addicted to yaoi. i mean she reads it too just not extreme as me. anyways, everything is good because no one in this family knows that i read yaoi except my sister rolleyes

Pretty sure my mom, sister and brother know. But no one really cares much about what I do or read or anything.
See, I don't really know if they've caught on to the fact that I'm gay or not yet. sweatdrop So I've no clue. They don't look through my stuff or monitor what I buy, so whatev. Doesn't matter to me.

My mom only knows that I read the soft stuff. No way I'm telling her about my hardcore readings. =D
Me and my twin both read yaoi together. XD

My mum doesnt know. Firstly she has no interest in manga, manga is just manga to get. Secondly, i have no wish to tell her, as shes sort of narrow minded and would probably think im a lesbian of something stupid like that. Bah.

My parents are weird about that. My mum wouldn't care, but my dad would try to convince me it's not 'funny' or 'right' reading about yaoi. He would then remember I'm bi and try to convince me I'm not.
My brother Mitchell knows; he likes reading/watching the manga/anime. He blames me for it. xd Woo! I'm blamed! Sadly, we don't get any yaoi manga where I live. crying We get barely any manga at all. It was a strange once in a lifetime occurence for my town when I found and bought Ragnarok and Alichino from the damn place. It'll probably never happen again.

My mom is catholic and a science major so she sees gay as an abnormality and doesn't like it. My sister doesn't mind and she knows I read it but not to what extent. I never got around to seeing how my dad would react though...
