As Daniel prepared to make the shot, Amanda and Eretria tag teamed him and Amanda snatched the quaffle away. Daniel whipped around and went after her, trying to steal the quaffle back.

First Year-Slytherin-Single-Half Blood

Peter planned to be the one that came out of formation to take a shot. It was probably less expected for Pete to shoot, since he took the tail position in his formation. The formation looked premature and it was, but it had its advantages. Now that Amanda had ran away with the quaffle, before Daniel shot it, Pete could easily fly down the pitch for a counter steal. The game was constantly going back and forth between steals and passes. Neither team even attempted a shot at goal. The pitch's length made it so the easiest way to advanced the quaffle is to make 2 passes and the last receiver would take the shot. However, this basic concept hadn't worked at all. Pete figured he should try it again, just once more. The keepers were probably bored. Maybe next year he'd try out for Beater and Chaser. Pete followed after Amanda. The green team's next possession would need a further developed formation.

After successfully stealing the quaffle for a third time, Amanda spun around to fly towards the goal posts; however, Daniel snatched the quaffle from her before she flew away. These first years are good, she thought but stayed quiet. If she wanted to compliment their quidditch skills, she would do so after tryouts ended. When Shina's brother passed the quaffle to Peter, Amanda flew after it in an attempt to intercept the pass.

Allister saw how easy the green team got the quaffle is as easy as they got it stolen again. "It's just back and forth." He thought. He noticed Eretria steal the quaffle as it was being thrown to Peter. "Oh no you don't." Allister mumbled as he flew towards Eretria in hopes of getting the quaffle back.

Dom cursed, but his words flew headfirst into high velocity, curling and twisting in the winds so that not even he could hear just what foul toxic had spewed from his lips like venom. Allister instigated him and Dominic couldn’t resist the snarl that struck his lips when his bright blue eyes pinpointed the first year as he hurled across the field, seemingly unfazed, and dive right back into the game. Dominic knew it hurt, no matter how much the younger boy tried not to let it show.

But he couldn’t get the boys words out of his head, damn him.

At the moment, he wanted nothing more than to hurl every single bloody bludger toward Allister. But, wait—his blue eyes became transfixed on Jazz. Did she spot the snitch? Her twists and turns were so deliberate, he was sure that she had. All logic dictate that he aim his next shot at her… But… But…

Aw, hell, Dominic could never back down from a challenge. He whipped his arm back and hurled it into the side of a bludger expecting a sickening crack as he aimed it directly to Allister once again without ever saying a word.

But the sickening crack never came, at least not the one he expected. Instead, in slow motion, he watched how hard his arm swiped across with just too much vehemence, the bludger was moving much slower than he anticipated. He watched with wide eyes, and cursed himself at once for not going after their seeker and letting so much petty arrogance blind him. He thought of all of this as the bludger swung into the side of his batters arm and forced his upper torso to twist all the way to the one side and popping the joints in his spine in a row within the blink of an eye. His broom suddenly dived to the side with him, and he nearly fell forward as he tried to grasp his broom and wrestle himself upright. Ugh, good thing I didn’t say anything, he realized as he massaged his shoulder and glanced upwards at the game above him, he was barely a few meters off the ground. Or I would have looked like a bloody fool…

Pale green misted eyes darted back and forth as she furiously searched the pitch up and down, Ronyo told to her let easy, but, she needed all of the practice she could get. She hadn’t had many chances during the summer, but before she could reflect, she spotted her cousin, Dominic, bludgeoned down. She winced and grit her teeth, eyeing him to make sure he caught himself before she had to force her attention back to the field at hand, and the snitch. She flew in deep arches, flying several hundred meters up and then diving down to the grass before swooping back up and down again down the side of the quidditch field.
