Psyzapp She's very excited about New York. It's been a while since she's been there and she's looking forward to it. I think she's about all prayed out about now and she's cut back to going around twice a week to see her priest instead of daily. stressed *Takes a larger drink of her wine and pinches the bridge of her nose with her thumb and forefinger while she closes her eyes.* (( You know I prefer handcuffs to a thong…silly. wink )) *He thinks about his own mother, remembrances of days long past, and a sadness creeps over his face.* My mother would have been excited to meet you as well. *He breathes a heavy sigh, then takes another drink of his scotch* She died a few years ago. She goes over to him and hugs him tightly.* I'm so sorry my darling…I had no idea. sweatdrop I'm sure your mother was a very sweet woman. I would love to hear more about her if you are up to it sometime. *She releases him but keeps her hands on his shoulders and smiles warmly at him.* Although at times, I really cannot say that about my own mother. Once you are "in" with my Mother…she is very loyal, can be very sweet and extremely generous. 3nodding

William, when you first meet my Mother, you'll need to follow her lead. I highly doubt she will offer her cheek to you seeing as you are a complete stranger to her. She may extend her hand to you and if she does, just shake it briefly. If she just stares at you and does nothing or crosses her arms, then we will know we could be in for a long weekend. stressed
If she does just stare at you, remove your hat if you are wearing one and politely nod to her. You say "Piacevole per venirli a contatto Signora Pavani." It means you are pleased to meet her and during any conversation you have with my Mother, call her "Signora Pavani" unless she tells you otherwise.
If she warms up to you, she may offer her cheek to you. If she does this, this is how you handle it … it's more of a brushing of the cheek with a kissing noise to the air. First go right… *she does it to him* … then go left… *she does it.* Just how I typically greet Ryzan if you've ever seen me do that.
