	I mentioned I'm considering going to it to my best friend. We'll see if she makes any comment on whether she might want to join me or not because that would definitely help with hotel costs. Not that I can't afford it on my own. But she's the one that introduced me to ECCC years back. It was the con we used to go to together before we decided to stop going after we had some poor experiences during the last one we attended.

	'Cause I wanted to do this after doing the Cosplay Chess at the anime con I recently attended. I was dressed up as Blackbeard and ended up being the Black Rook. Ended up pulling some actual lines from OFMD into my improvisation, lol. Blackbeard vs. Vax (from Critical Role) Blackbeard: Vax: Vax: notices I don't die Wait, what? Blackbeard: You see, I cleverly took your dagger on the left side. Missed all of the important bits. Vax: gasps in concern as he sees Blackbeard pull dagger out Blackbeard: You wanna know how to truly destroy an enemy? It takes a little bit more oomph. stabs Vax: dies

	I'm so glad I decided to help out my friend and show up to fill in their empty spots for Cosplay Chess. It was a lot of fun. And thankfully with me being Blackbeard that day, it made it really easy to improvise for our battles. My inner Blackbeard knew what lines and/or moves to pull out to satisfy the scenario of everything. Plus it was fun getting to see Cosplay Chess from a different perspective. The last time they had it, I was always an audience member watching.

	And I did pretty well too. I took out Vax (the real one; ended up having to do it that way since they had prior commitments for the Cosplay Lip Sync Contest to go to along with their Keyleth), Genshin Impact character (not 100% certain on that but the styling of their outfit definitely matched all of the other GI characters I was seeing), and Ralph (from Wreck It Ralph). Caleb from Critical Role ended up taking me out. xd
