So, once you get some seniority, what will you do then? *she sips her beer* Will that mean a promotion and less street work? Or just more "regular" *she uses her free hand to make quote marks in the air* hours and such? It would be nice if you could get a more regular schedule so we could plan some things to do. *She gives him a grin* Perhaps we could go to the lake...I found this wonderful secluded cove when we were out last weekend. wink

It will mean both a promotion and a more regular schedule. There will still be an occasional assignment here and there, but not like it is at the moment.

I'll have to remember that. *takes his sake over to one of the tables out of sight of the kitchen and orders a few sushi rolls, telling the waiter to make sure the kitchen doesn't know it's for him* Quality control, you know. wink
*flies into the main bar, looking for Karrie. Not seeing him there, figures he's in the kitchen and flies over there, ignoring the hostess completely when she tries to stop him. Seeing Karrie at a table, goes up to him and lands beside his chair*
Hey Velcore. You weren't home for dinner. You hungry?
*chirps and nods at Karrie*
I'll get something for you when the waiter comes back. *pats the dragon on the head*

It really is great. Karrie has found some excellent people to staff his kitchen. *she takes a sip of her beer* I wonder if Psyzapp is planning on getting Dougherty and you some VIP passes....at least then you wouldn't have to come in here flashing your badge and acting all tough when you're looking for me! *she giggles and spears another shrimp*
