So this BTS shot of Edward/Blackbeard's cabin aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge is so beautiful and telling. It may have started off as a comedic aesthetic thing to have Ed's representative color be purple because of his purple outfit as "Jeff the Accountant" and his comments about lavender soap. But look at his cabin! This is before he even met Stede, so there's no gentleman influence here. THE WHOLE THING HAS PURPLE TONES TO IT! Like... Blackbeard's favorite color truly is purple!

ed really is just so ******** pretty. like honestly props to taika waititi because usually i think he's pretty handsome as is but ed.... ed is just really ******** pretty.

And he looks good in all of his appearances. It's not like other characters in other franchises where you like "He's gorgeous in this look/outfit but not so much in the others." But when it comes to Ed? His Blackbeard attire? Yes. Jeff the Accountant? Yes. Post-Act-Of-Grace (no beard)? Yes. Red Robe? Yes. Kraken? Yes. whee

I'm so excited we officially have dates for the filming of Season 2. I mean... I figured it was going to be starting soon with the cast starting to congregate in New Zealand these past couple weeks. Plus I get to experience stuff that fans experienced when Season 1 was just getting released - all of the BTS stuff the cast members are able to share. biggrin

Like Con just shared this morning a picture with a caption stating he was starting training for Izzy. Considering his character, I'm assuming it means he's going to be doing more sword practice... which means we may potentially see more sword fighting scenes from him. Perhaps a re-match with Stede?

It's also sort of funny because Jason Momoa recently posted he was traveling to New Zealand but didn't really specify the reason why he's going there. And of course all of us OFMD fans are going... "Is he traveling to NZ because he's going to guest star on OFMD?" Like is it just a coincidence he happens to be arriving at the same time as the OFMD cast are... or is this a sign of something to come?

I got to watch my friend do a full playthrough of this game. It's so good!

As a cat lover, I appreciate the little nods to cat behavior they included in the game for players to be able to do.
