Ashy is presently caught in a vicious cycle of presidential outlines. I just finished a huge-a** outline for Andrew Jackson last night somewhere around 10:30, and here I am beginning on Polk tonight. I had two weeks to do Jackson, but naturally I stalled and ended up spending the past three days devoting every moment of my spare time to the damn outline. The outlines will continue until April 30, 2008.
AP US History just might prove to be my undoing.
Also, my bus driver is the kind of rules and regulations nazi that makes me wish so badly that I'd gotten my driver's license this past summer. I never got around to going to driver's ed, and now that AP US is in full swing, I'm not going to have time to learn anything besides that which the Baltimore County school system thinks I need to learn. The bus invariably arrives after 7:05, which makes getting into the bus loop before the first bell nearly impossible. To make matters worse, she holds up the entire bus every single day checking bus cards, forcing every single one of us to show the bus card. She won't leave until everyone's told her where it is or shown it to her, and she'll stall if you have food or drink visible (even if it's in a closed container) and she'll make you throw it away. She won't let us use phones on the bus because if we do, there's absolutely no doubt in her stubborn little mind that the bus will explode and everyone will die, and God forbid that she or anyone on her bus should put not even a toe, but a hair out of line, or she will without a doubt lose her license and her job.
That woman has some issues, I tell ya.
So basically, school is closing in on me. I will have died and forced myself to return from the grave by the end of the school year.
