*Not finding much in the restaurant, the grunny and bird peek back in the bar. Smelling the treats Lily was offering, cautiously hop over, with Grunny's nose twitching like crazy. Getting closer still, Grunny stretches out her neck as far as it will go to sniff Lily hand and the cookies, nibbling just out of reach*

*Looks Gratefully at Lily.* THank you. I don't want people knowing and I have been healing.... slowly. *Sips on the drink watching the critters* Really you two, you act like you are shy or something

*Looking at Iggies* Shush, we are trying to have good manners

*Snorts a giggle and takes a sip*

*She finishes putting everything away and cleaning the kitchen. She washes her hands and goes over to Officer Dougherty. She stands very close to him. She puts her arms around him.* She's very old school my darling. It would be best to wait to give her this type of news. It wouldn't go over well with her meeting you for the first time.

I have a list of things I need to go over with you. You will need to learn a few key Italian phrases and words. I have to teach you how to properly eat Spaghetti so you don't look like some Paisan.

Bella figura, William. Bella figura refers not only to the way you look, but also to the way you act and what you say. It’s similar in some ways to the oriental concept of ‘face’ my darling. *She pauses and she watches him eat.* I love you so very much. *She smiles at him.*

Amy smiled brightly at Karrie. "Oh thank you so much, Karrie! I really appreciate it. I don't know where Kai lives, so I can't take him to his house. Putting him on the couch at my house would be far better than him staying here. He might get ice water dumped on him. Plus, you'll get to see where I live now!"

She chuckled softly and then reached for Kai's legs. "You can always come back here afterward if you want since my house isn't that far away. See you all later!"

QUICK EDIT: She turned to iggies and smiled brightly. "Thanks, iggies! Great idea! Let's do that."

After that was done, Thistle led the way out of the bar and toward Amy's house.

{{Sorry I can't RP Amy carrying Kai to her house with Karrie, but I need to go to bed or I'm going to be dead on my feet. If you want to RP that, you can Karrie, and just have them putting Kai on her couch in the living room. If you don't want to, though, that's perfectly fine. *goes over to Kai and gets him on the black dragon's back* Good night, iggies and Lily. *walks with the dragon to help get Kai back on the couch at Amy's house*

*takes one of the cookies with a thank you chirp for Lily, then follows Karrie to Amy's house and home*

*He finishes up the last of his dinner and takes another sip of his wine. He then wraps his arms around her waist as she stands next to him.* Bella figura ... sounds like good figure, which makes sense. I usually do my best to not disrespect or ridicule anyone anyway, so that shall be the easy part, I'm sure.

*He pulls her closer and places a kiss on her chest.* Thank you. That dinner was very good. But I must be getting to bed soon, if I am to get any decent amount of sleep before my appointment in the morning.

*Hops over and nuzzles Lily's hand as she sets down the treats and they both wink at her*

Sounds like sound advice. Stress isn't good for one's being, yet somehow some of us seem to catch it like a bad cold. *Yawns a little trying to decide if she should head to the diner for a light dinner or head to bed and attempt to rest. Undecided she pours more coffee and spikes it royally*

((I'm going to have to try to go to bed... I can't believe I volunteered to be at work so early. I don't do mornings.... But I do do money))

Of course my darling. *She takes him by the hand and leads him to the bedroom. She speaks to him as she starts to remove her garments.* What are you doing tomorrow?

*Looks at the grunny and the bird and softly shakes her head. Must be her imagination that the pets winked at her.*

I hope you can get some sleep, iggies. It's a big factor in the healing process. You could try Melatonin or Chamomile Tea. I've had people tell me they work wonders, unfortunately, they don't work for me. The stress thing really messes up my sleeping patterns.

((Banana Cream Pie was my father's favorite dessert, too. Every year for his birthday that's what we had instead of cake.))
