LOL! See, it took me to become an adult to really appreciate and relate to my mom. It's like, once I grew up and saw the world for what it's for and what my mom was going through and went through with me and my brother, I was able to appreciate all that she did and does for me. I know we as children take our parents for granted, but I think once you realize that they're your parents for life, never changing, and that they're in your corner til the day they die, that you see them for who they really are. My mom and I have a better relationship than we did in the past, and that fault lies with both of us. There are things that I like to do that my mom doesn't and vice versa, but all in all, I'd rather hang with her and her older sister than anyone my age or a little older. People my age, epcept for one or two max, are just too idiotic for me. Still in "high school" mode, if that makes sense.

Psyzapp That's really cool! My boys would just die if I showed up at a dance. xp LOL, I told her I was gonna jump in the middle of her group & "bust a move" and she told me go ahead...she kinda expected it from me anyways! xd

@ Icy Reign: That's really great that you have a good relationship with your mother. I've had that my whole life with my mom. Even to this day, she remains my best friend and we try and see each other once a week. She comes over to my place and helps me all of the time with anything that I have to do. The kids, house, errands, etc.
@ Katana: Sounds as though you have a similar relationship with your daughter.

WOW…that would be really fun! My husband travels to Asia all of the time on business and when my twins are a little older, I'll probably tag along. xd I just want to wait until they are a bit older. xd

That sounds great! Planning in advance like that, you're sure to have what you need when the time comes. I've been pushing my mom to go ahead and get her passport(I need to as well! redface ) so she can go on the trips my aunt always plans. My aunt is a retired school teacher and she always wanted to travel when she retired and that's exactly what she's doing! She been so many places, inside the country and out, that I know that's how I want to spend my retirement when I come of age. She's 64 and you can't tell it or see it. And she's worse than me! My mom says I get it from her and that's why we bump heads alot, but Lord knows I love her! I've been trying to steal her car for the last two years(2007 Nissan 350Z) OMG that car is sooooooooooo beautiful! Everything she ever wanted to do, my aunt's been doing it.*grabs a Purple People Eater and sits down* So what are your plans for your birthday Ms Psy?
