Kane felt a wave of excitment and relief wash over him when Lan accepted the ring and gave him a kiss. He kissed Lan back and slipped the other ring onto his own right-hand finger. This was what he had dreamt of his whole life. To have someone promise their life to you and to share in one of the deepest loves of all was something that Kane had given up on long ago. But now this cute neko had re-ignited his dreams and set his heart aflame. Kane could never have asked for somehing so good.

Lan briefly put his arms around Kane's neck, blushing a little. "What you just did, will make this less painful" he said as he looked up at the clock on the wall and drew his arms back and stepped away. "Please don't be worried, it will be over soon" he said before grabbing his sides in pain. The fur shrunk back into his body, and his face became more and more human. Tears ran from his clenched eyes as all the fur soon disapeared except from his ears and tail. He looked down at the ring Kane had given him and he put his arms back around his neck. He was sweating a little and panted only a little "Th.....that wasn't so bad. I....I love you so much" he said as he pressed his body against Kane's

Lucca kept on laughing as he started poking Ryzil's left pectoral "Come on...It's a cute name after all...and it has many sub-nicks...like Manny, Boobie, Boob, Maniboo, Boobers" He said as he cracked out and fell to the floor laughing "OH God...its hard to breathe...hahaha!" The angel said embracing himself in the floor

Kane held Lan and felt as his chest moved up and down with the slightly heavy breathing from his transformation. "I'm glad it didn't hurt so badly. I don't like to see you hurt." Kane had no doubt in his mind that he was ready to devote all he had to Lan. Kissing Lan on the head, Kane said, "So now we're official! At least as far as traditon goes." kane had never had much intrest in any other traditions, but this one was very important to him and the fact that Lan had doen it with him made him fall even more in love with the neko. Kissing Lan on the cheek, Kane said "I'm so glad that we're together."

Lan's breathing calmed as he moved in closer to Kane so that their forheads were touching. "So am I.......I just can't imagine living without you" he said as he seductively wrapped his tail around Kane's leg. He kept his arms wrapped around Kane's neck. He was still blushing as he looked into Kane's eyes. "Please don't ever leave me..."

Kane kissed Lan on the lips and then said, while looking straight into his eyes, "I would never leave you for any reason. Because you have not left me. You are the only who's ever stayed with me and comforted me when I cry. You're the only one who has really loved me. And I will always be here to show you how much that means to me." Kane held Lan close and smelled his hair. It was still fresh from the shower, but smelled earthy like the blankets back at the opera house. Lan was more than his boyfriend; he was a part of his soul and his heart now.

Lan smiled and almost melted after the kiss. "Why is it that when I kiss you, Im fine. But when you kiss me I feel like melting?" he blushed as he nuzzled against Kane. Lan thought about what had just happened. Kane had filled that empty place in his heart that had been vacant for so long. He started to run his fingers through Kane's soft black hair.

"I should ask you the same thing," Kane replied. This was the best time of his life, hands down. He had his love in his arms, a ring on his finger, and a lovely house to return to at night. What more could he have asked for? "Thank you so much for everything you've done for me. It seems as though we've actually completed each other. Now we're goingto live for each other, okay?" Kane asked. No matter what he had to do Kane was now determined to make sure that Lan was always with him and happy. He would fight for him, play for him, do anything for him. Leaning back a little, Kane knocked over a pile of boxes. "Oops!" Looking over he went to clean up the mess. As he sooped the odds and ends back into the box he found one especially alluring item. A pin with a red oval and gold vines lay amongst the nuts and bolts. 'Shiney....' Kane thought as he clipped it to his belt. Finally getting everything back in order he turned around to Lan. "Wanna see if there's anything else important in those bangles?"

Without thinking, Lan moved his hand down to touch the pin. "It's pretty on you" he said innocently. After realizing where his hand was he blushed and turned around and looked throught the jangle of stuff. Lan reached into the box and searched around. He finally pulled out a small, ice blue, lotus hair piece. He walked back over to Kane and held it out in his hand. "What do you think? I think it matches my eyes" he said blushing a little.

Kane took the lotus from Lan's hand and pushed his hair back. Making sure not to scratch his cute furry ears, Kane secured it behind Lan's right ear. "It looks very pretty! You know, blue lotus are very rare." Then he leaned against Lan and said, "Almost as rare as such a kind loving soul." Then he kissed lan's forehead. Shifting through the bobbles, Kane kept a lazy eye on what he was shuffling through. Somewhere near the bottom he felt a large design of crystal. Pulling it out he saw it was a crystal carving of a lily. Each of the petals was a different color. Holding it up to show Lan, Kane said, "Look how amazing this is. I've never seen something so carefully sculpted." His eyes were fixed on the glass flower as a few sunrays poured the multicolored light across his countainance.

Lan blushed after Kane had put the hair piece in. He stared at the crystal flower. "Th...thats beautiful...." he said mesmerized. "Oh i have an idea!" Lan said as he began rummaging through the jewels. Finally, he pulled out a small silver chain necklace. He gently took the crystal from Kane and carefully slid the necklace through a small hole in the back of the crystal. He blushed as he then looped it around Kane's neck. "It's looks even prettier on you" Lan said as he kissed Kane.

Kane smiled in the kiss. 'What a sweetie,' he thought again. 'How is it that he can be so wonderful?' "Thank you," Kane said as he touched to flower. Grabbing Lan's hand he said, "Let's grab a present for the others and then go back? WE've found plenty already." Kane was not only reffering to the treasures they had pilfered, but also the treasures that had blossomed from their hearts. Grabbing a silver horn broach, a pair of onyx moon earrings, and a white gold necklace with an opal heart charm, Kane took Lan's hand again and began to lead him out. As the reached the exit, a rusted-out metal rafter fell loose. "Lan!" Kane shouted as he pushed Lan out of the way. With a screach, Kane shielded his head with his hands as the bar came rushing down.

Lan looked with horror as the bar fell towards Kane. He knew he had to do something. 'I hope I can do it this time' he thought as he opened his mouth. "Ahhhhhhhhh" he sustained the not and directed it towards the bar. It slowed until it came to a stop right above Kane's head. He motioned Kane to move as he walked up and pulled him away from the path of the bar. After releasing the note, the bar came crashing down. Lan fell to his knees, panting and sweating. His face was white with stress. "A....are. you okay...?" he askes in whispers

Kane looked at Lan with wide eyes and knelt by his side. "Lan! You saved me! Again... Thank you so much. What about you? Are you alright?" Kane was worried that Lan may have overextended himself in protecting him.
