"An image change? What's your brand now?" Cerpin asked curiously. It was a little hard to hear over the wind but he could mostly make out what she was saying. Makkah had seemed spunky and funky and a little bit old school. Was she planning on going more modern or even more retro?

"Underworld's always got a spot for you if you're looking for gigs." He flashed her a crooked smile before looking back at the horizon. They sure had a long way to go.

"Oh I can see just fine, you just focus on hitting these assholes off the course." If she could stay on the sled anyway. He wasn't going to make this a particularly gentle ride.

He swerved again, this time to actually avoid a rock in the field. Who set this course up, anyway!?

"Nucleo, I really think we should stop." Amonee wailed as they pulled the sled. It was so cold and after a long shift at the cafe, he was already starting off this game exhausted. He just wanted to cuddle up with a warm cup of coffee and a blanket, preferably nestled into Nucleo's side, as they watched trashy television together. Was that really too much to ask?

Plus there were a crap ton of game enforcers running after them for using Nucleo's clones in the game. Amonee really thought it best they "quit" instead of "getting disqualified".

"Sweetie, I know it doesn't seem like cheating to you because the clones are 'normal' but... the rest of Alternia doesn't, erm, see it quite the same..."
