Roan laughed with a half bow, far from serious. "I don't mind. It's a knight's duty to escort a lady with a sword to defend her with," he said with absolutely zero embarrassment. However the words seemed lost as Hanon had found Lucia. He thought nothing of the offer of newcomers. It hadn't affected him too much to make a response for the place had not belonged to him, however his curiosity was piqued at a mention of the carnival. A carnival and a human one? Was it much the same as the ones in his kingdom? Not that he was actually able to attend to any, unless given a speech at appearance. It was tiresome to have responsibilities but it was needed. Yet for this, Roan was at an impasse. On one hand he had his responsibilities to the kingdom and on the other he had his own personal agenda. "I must concur with Mrs. Hatter, I also believe we should all retire soon," he said quite sternly, a small fissure of mockery in the surface. "But," the leap in his voice surreal. "I'm quite interested in the carnival myself," he responded lightly. He turned his head to the Hatter with eyes filled with a slightly eager inquiry."So won't you join us and help me keep them out of trouble?"

Emilia’s fingers twitched, but she wrapped a hand around the wrist to steel it as she raised her brow as Lucia stated the time. “ Strange. The clocks must be off then. ” She commented lightly. She swore it was 7:15 PM a while ago. The brunette expressed slight interest towards the three newcomers, only smiling towards them. Thoughts elsewhere, the brunette half listened to the exchanges until a new masculine voice joined the group, requesting to speak with Lucia. Oh? “Is it safe to let them go off like that?” She inquired, inclining her head towards the direction where Lucia had gone with “Kaito”. They came to find Lucia and confirm her safety but to have the young girl go off with a stranger seemed…counterproductive.

It raised some of her interest when Lucia returned hand in hand with the orange hair male, but aside from the small congratulatory smile, Emilia made no comment on it; it wasn’t in her place to. “You could also win a souvenir to bring back to Alice, Mrs. Hatter,” she chimed following Roan’s inquiry. “There are other festivities to take part in and all sorts of delicacies to sample. ”

Hatter released her hand from her dramatic gesture and turned her attention to Roan, she frowned slightly in a pouting manner as if she still wasn't sure about this 'Carnival'. "But...", she began as she looked at him slightly confused,"I heard Alice and Elliot were to be watching a 'Motion Picutre' and i've never seen one of those before". She turned her attention as Kaito and Lucia returned she stared at their hands slightly confused by why two strangers to her would be holding hands together in such a loving fashion when Emilla hyped in she could win Alice something. At the mere mention of Alice Hatter broke out into a cheshire cat grin and stated,"Oh yes Alice!", she then began to clap and jump around in circles while her feet went up in down in a endless running motion,"Oh Alice yes! My dear little girl! We must go! We must!", she explains she stops herself and turns to the procession of people with her hands on her hips and asks,"Whom amongst you souls are brave enough to venture into this Carnival so that I may retrieve alice a prize from its depths?".
