❀⊰ Tamlen walked down the snoky path, suddenly wishing he had a horse.. He sighed. This is the first time I've really ever been out walking.. Everytime I come out of the castle it's for some royal or military buisness... He looked down. Ah, I guess it can't be helped.. I am the prince after all.. He risked a glance over his shoulder at Akari. Akari... I can't believe it.. But I do love you.. Oh, how will this ever work out? I don't even know which god to pray to for advise! He looked forward again. Please.. Whichever of you that can help us.. Don't let this die! I've never once smiled on my own.. Untill I met her.. He prayed to both of their gods as he looked to the sky.. ⊱❀

Akari was lookin at him when he looked to the sky, she motioned her head upward, checking if Len is seeing something wrong.
Upon finding nothing, she sets her eyes back to the path. "tch...", she said in annoyance as she slows down her step and walks behind Len. "Len...there are people there....", she tried to whisper to Len as she quickly pulls the hood on her cloak to cover her hair.

❀⊰ Tamlen turned around. s**t! Didn't I tell that infidel to clear the path! He strained his his to see them. Crap! They'er soldeirs! If they recognize me, this guise is over! He grabbed Akari's arm and ran. "Come on! We can lose them at the cliffs!" He hoped like Hell that she didn't catch the fact that he knows where he's going. The soldiers hear a yell and twigs break. They saw a red haired woman and a white haired man. They immediantly thought 'spies'. "After them!" the captian yelled. The problem here? Tamlen and Akari were running. The soldiers had horses. ⊱❀

"E-eh!?", she was surprised when Len grabbed her arm. She knows that they're in trouble, so she followed him as fast as she could.
Running has kicked away the cold from her, she know that she can use a bit of magic for now,It's bad enough that they're chasing us with horses, it won't go any worse if i slow them a bit . Akari cast a spell and made a small wall of fire in front of the guard's horses, the horses would panic and they will have more time to run.

❀⊰ The horses stopped dead in their tracks, throwing off the soldiers. Theur suspicios were proved 'correct'. Together they cast a rain spell to distigrate the fire, and the 6 soldiers ran faster. "s**t, Akari, that really didn't help.." Tamlen said as he switched directions quite suddenly. The soldiers were able to keep up perfectly on foot. They knew how to run on ice. Akari didn't. Tamlen got nervous when he realised they were right next to a cliff... One of the soldiers threw an ice spell at Len's head. He turned around quickly and blocked with his arm.. Something a Fire Person would never be able to do. Magic user or not. ⊱❀

"Hah, i'd rather let them know the hard way than having them torturing me until i'm 'willing' to speak. Do not underestimate military.", she looked at the guards with sharp eyes.
Even though they were getting cornered, Akari tries her best to keep the guards away.

❀⊰ Tamlen wipped his head back to her. "Yes, but now even if we get away, rumor will spread that you're here. Then there's no way we'll get as far as the next town, no less the capitol!" He yelled back. Then it happened. It started with one easilly blocked attack at Tamlen's head. The an iced ground where they ran. Akari slipps, a soldier throws another attack to Len.. He misses it. And his footing. The edge of the cliff lead to a roaring river who's bottom was barely seen through the fog.. Tamlen knew that he wouldn't make it. He'd slipped to far. He let go of Akari's hand and pushed her away, pushing himself farther over the edge. "Go Akari! Teleport back to the cave! Get out of here!" He yelled as he fell. He'd be down too far for her to catch by the time she could. One of the soldier froze her foot to the ground.. ⊱❀

"LEN!! NO!!.", She quickly jumps off to pull Len back, but something was holding her, she turns around to see her leg was frozen to the ground. Akari couldn't do anything while she watches Len fades into the fog, tears was streaming down from her eyes.

She was trembling over shock,rage started to took over her, the ice on her legs started to melt in seconds.
"You...YOU INSOLENT CREATURE!!", she yelled at the guards as fire starts to burns around her. She screamed in anger as her tears turned into molten lava, she jumps towards them, attacking each one of them. Her strong flames are causing severe burns on the guards. But she could not control her anger and went careless, a guard managed to hit her and tie her down, she felt something hit her head, hard, she suddenly lose her consciousness.

❀⊰ One of the soldiers had managed to hit her with the hilt of his sword. After they'd put out all the fire, they tied her up and tied her to the only horse that hadn't run off. They resolved to take ho the palace. As a prisoner of war..

Meanwhile, Tamlen had slipped past the fog. Normally being plunged into the water wouldn't be a problem for him. But he also cracked his on a- you guessed it- log. The Sea Prince, defeated by a log.. He drifted down the rivine at risk of drowning. Not even the Prince could hold his breath forever.. Especially when unconcious.. ⊱❀

Akari woke up and finds her self tied on a horse, she wanted to jump off and fight again, but she knew that it would be pointless. She looks around from the corner of her eye, not moving her head, she saw a lot of man with bad injuries, some was carried by the others. I did that huh?...., a small victory smile was drawn on her face,at least they got what they deserve...,she thought. Something suddenly stabs her heart, her tears started to flow out her eyes again, Len...i'm so sorry...it's all my fault...it should've been me... She cried silently.

O great Amaterasu, please let me see him again, her tears stopped, she wanted to do anything she can to scar the Sea kingdom. Even if she was executed, she would be able to meet Len once more, that was the only thing on her thought.

❀⊰ The soldeirs took two days to reach the castle town, only stopping once at the nearest town to drop off their wounded and gather enogh soldiers to 'escort' the Princess to the castle. They had put her inside a cage wagon that was driven by two horses. There were eyes on her at all times, and she was tied. The bars were kept painfully cold to sap away her energy. She was driove through the capitol town by the main road, for everyone to see. Whispers were made about her. People saw her red hair and eyes and spread rumors about her being a demon... She recieved cold stared from the adults, and frightened whimpers from the children. One child tried to be brave by coming up to her. She was a Sea Kingdom girl about Leena's age who had been born with orange hair. She held her hand out to Akari and smiled, before her mother rushed her away and forced her back into their home..


Meanwhile... A simple farmgirl found Len washed up on shore. She instantly recognized the Prince, as her father was a caption in the royal guard on temporary Leave. She ran off to tell her father. The man had helped Tamlen reached his bearings. They spoke for a moment until more soldeirs came. They told Tamlen that he was needed at the palace immediantly. The captian that had helped him lent Tamlen his horse and they reached the capitol shortly after Akari did. Going over all the plans and news that Tamlen had missed, the Prince hadn't had any time to think or relax. But once he reached the palace he had ordered everyone to leave him be and retired to his room. He collapsed from exhastion on his bed, not even bothering to change out of his clothes. But he couldn't fell asleep. He wept. Akari... Oh please tell me you got away! Please Gods! Tell me she got away! I couldn't bear to see her hurt... He curled up against a pillow and literally cried himself to sleep.. ⊱❀

She kept her head down along the road, she wouldn't mind of people thinking of her as a demon, although it was only a rumor for them, they didn't know that the fire kingdom's throne descents from the blood of the demon king.
Sometimes she would held her head up and look outside of the bar, seeing many faces with many expression towards her, she saw this one child smiling towards her, she smiled back at her.

She almost can't feel her hands, the cuffs around her hand makes her grows weaker each second. She curled up to keep herself warm, Oh Len...if only i could hold you tight right now..., she imagined embracing Len, her tears just won't stop every time she thought of him.
Not paying attention to what happened outside of her wagon, she curled up inside, 'planning' her own death.

❀⊰ Akari had actually been brought before the King before anything else. A king that bore an uncanny resembelence to Akari's dear lover... He instantly recognized her as the Fire Princess. He stood up. "You. What are you doing here? What reason has the Fire Princess to come to the Sea Kingdom?" He said in a demanding tone.

Meanwhile, Tamlen stirred. He wasn't compleatly awake, but he forced a bath. Then he called for a hearler to help with his injuries. After he was tened to, he went back to bed. But, just as before, he didn't quite fall asleep. He couldn't stop thinking of Akari. Deep in his heart he seemed to know. She hadn't gotten away. The mere thought of it made his heart ache. He wanted to goout and look for her.. But he felt ill. His body had been put under far too much strain as of late. He had a fever. ⊱❀

Akari almost give a loathe look to the king of the Sea kingdom, but she realize that it wasn't a proper way to treat a king. She took a small bow to him, yet she doesn't hide the hatred in her eyes,"I assume that you, as the king of the Sea kingdom, acknowledges that both parties are preparing for the promised war", she started to speak to him, "While us, the Fire kingdom, are moving in the path of a warrior, i find that your son, the prince of the Sea kingdom, has broke the rules and making a new plot with your spies".

Akari stood tall and proud in front of him, " I, Kirishima Akari, as the princess of the Fire kingdom shall even risk my life on the line to protect my subject".
She asserted to the king.

❀⊰ The Sea King, though angered, would have to show curtesy, even to a tresspasser. "My son is in his room right now, exhausted after being attacked." He told her. It turns out that the King actually had never been notified of Tamlen going to the Fire Kingdom. And if he had been, Tamlen would have never gone. The king glared down at Akari with the same eyes that the Princess had seen before. "And yes, I'm perfectly aware of the war. I have eoungh burned villages to have forewarned me of that much... As for spies, it would appear that you have them as well, if you 'knew' that much about my heir." He accused.

Tamlen cried out in his sleep. The heat from his fever was becoming over bearing. A maid rushed in and saw too him. Upon learning that the Prince was ill she ran off the get a rag and tell the healers. In a few moments there were several maids and healers in the Prince's room, all trying to keep him comfortable. What they didn't know was the cause of his fever... In his sleep, he saw only Akari.. ⊱❀
