you what's funny? hydrogen causes flames to increase and oxygen is needed for a fire to live, but put them together and water puts out fire. God's sense of humor, my dad came up with that joke, lol

@Nicola: xd Cool. I think baking soda neutralizes fires too. Or was it baking powder? One helps fires and the other neutralizes them. It has to be the basic one.. not the acidic one. Hmm..
