Rellik San Deific Requiem Nice to see that certain threads in this guild have turned into an ego/hot-headed driven mess. New pet peeve of the day: misinformed/uneducated individuals. You're not talking about me are you? sad And the misinformed are entertaining, the uneducated are just out right funny.
I agree with you Rellik. Its funny when someone says they are goth, but then they dont "fit the profile" as my mother so bluntly placed it last night. |

Isobel Bellamy Rellik San Microsoft should hire kids as software testers, the most acomplished hacker can't break into a system, yet give it to a small kid and they will have it cracked in minutes. Lol, hells yes, that damned kid got onto a higher level on Yoshi's Island for the DS than I could..... I hate children.
That is what I call OWNED.
Actually, I think all major operating system companies should look into teaching children about hacking. I mean, look at it this way, kids are capable of learning things SO much faster than teenagers, let along adults. So, take the world greatest hackers, black hats especially, and have the compile the worlds best guide to cracking internal systems/networking protocols/and program operations.
Then, teach this to chidlren. Do you have ANY idea what these kids could develop?! They have just learned right from wrong. They more likely only want to be good, so they can ride their bike and stay up just a bit later to see that new movie on TV. They will not go out and maliciously destroy. This would be the best course of action, teach them the best skills, they will later increase that with their own knowledge they pick up as they go, and instill a higher sence of good in them. WALA the best security specialists ^_^.
But, they are just kids, what do they know? |

Isobel Bellamy Amusing happening: A friend was walking around in his floor length trench, gets asked by a chav (human scum/ waste of blood and organs), "are you a goth or something?" "no, I'm not", he politely replies "but you're wearing that coat that Draculas wear" ...... I leave you to your dispair.
Also, floor length trench coats are comonly worn by those partaking in illegal activities (for example: bank robberies, mafia negotiations, and/or narcotic trades).
Then again, trench coats have been in fashion for a long time, in another form known as the overcoat.
My leather "trench" coat is much more of the design from the mid 1930s. Very large, roomy, but stops half-way on your calf. Used to look longer, but I grew another 4 inches or so.
I've been asked if I was goth before, or going to shoot up the school, or if I had a gun. I've been asked how I joined the Trench Coat Mafia. Sometimes some utter idiotic statements were brought about me wearing my coat around school.
No matter what, there is going to be that one person who is going to say something that is completely stupid about what you are wearing/doing/saying/promiting/etc. So, I just tune it all out.
I just find that it's actually more fun to get that person into a conversation about movies, if they are willing of course. For you can get some interesting side conversations going with them, and they might just then leave you alone, or actually become your friend (rarely).
So, yeah....but I know what it's like to be asked stupid things.....
Especially since I'm tech support.
And what is people's obsession with trying to get on myspace since it's blocked at schools!? |

Okay, so, I'm sitting here in my room, off in thought, wondering, just what I am going to do with me life. I'm at a complete loss right now, WHAT do I want to do.
I know I'm taking a year off for college. I know I'm going to go to colletge....But what to major in?! What to take for classes!? I want to brush back up on German, Spanish, French, and add in Russian, Italian, Greek, Japanese, Chinese, and various other languages.
But I also want to further my computing capabilities.
And I love designing buildings, a lot...but I hate geometry and the like.
I think being an embalmer would be fun too.
I could do so many thing with life...but I just don't know what.
I'm almost a rain man really....I can pick up skills within hours. Just teach me and I got it. Except with math or writing essays >.<
So, when it comes down to my future, I'm at a loss: What do I do for a living!?

And I love designing buildings, a lot...but I hate geometry and the like. I think being an embalmer would be fun too. I could do so many thing with life...but I just don't know what. I'm almost a rain man really....I can pick up skills within hours. Just teach me and I got it. Reading, building, designing, learning, teaching. Just, so many things.
I forgot to add:
I'm also enrolled in a teaching class at my high school. We had mock interviews recently, and I scored, "extremely high" on my evaluation (even dressed as my normal self). They only said I was lacking motivation and individual something...but they said I would have been hired on the spot pretty much.
But do I want to be a teacher?! I don't know....I want to sleep through the day, not the night. I sleep better then...-sigh-

I have also thought of enjoying the delights of writing...but I lack the skill. I just can't bring my ideas down into words. I am good at speaking in person, or the like. I'm much better at oral presentations, (if I bother to do them). Alas, I have no real understanding of writing a story out. They continously end up being jumbled pieces of work that should have never of taken form.
I've done work in classes and get, GREAT IDEA! Or INTERESTING TOPIC but I am always graded down on structure....I have no structure for writing. My mind flows to quickly from point to point.....The only way I can tone my mind down to the point of writing would be to cut off all caffiene for a month, lock myself in a pitch black room, sound proofed, and with nothing to do...THEN THEN! I could focus...but until that exact moment, I'm very much at a loss, good Sir. |
