Kane smiled at Lan with love. He was gald that he had made Lan feel better. "You don't need to thank me. I just want to make you happy." Then he said, looking over his shoulder at the warehouse, "I don't know what's inside, but I do know that it's a lot of boxes. I could see them through the dirty window one day when I was trying to get through the fence." 'I wonder if there's something inside that Lan will like? I could actually get him something nice...'

"Well, let's check it out" Lan said as they began walking. He wrapped his arms arouind one of Kane's and rested his furry cheek on Kane's shoulder. "mmmmmm........you are so soft" he blushed as he purred. He flattened his ears again.

Kane blushed. "You're very soft too," he said sweetly. As they reached the giant doors, Kane knocked one down with a great force. "Now let's see what we can find in here. Where do you want to start?" Kane had never been good at these types of small decisions, and he thought he'd let Lan choose. After all they.....'Hmmm...' Kane thought to himself for just a second.

"I dont know. Why do I have the strangest feeling you are treating this like shopping?" Lan said as he let out a giggle. He wrapped his arms around Kane's waist. "You are the one who is supposed to be making these decisions. Just be random" He said as he rubbed his tail along Kane's back, blushing a little.

"Hmm...." Kane thought of where they should start. "Let's go right to left. And in the back first. The best stuff usually isn't kept in the front." As they made their way throught the piles of boxes, kane asked, "Like shopping? I wouldn't really know sense I've never gone shopping, but it's what I do when I get an opportunity like this." When they reached the back, Kane started opening the boxes by pile. "Pick one for yourself lan. Aything good you find keep and at the end we can see what we've got and maybe trade somethings." Kane's pile consisted mainly of copper piping and iron rods. One of them had a wrentch at the bottom, and Kane put that into an empty box he would use to carry what he found. Starting down another pile, Kane thought again, 'So is there a word....'

All of a sudden Lan turned his head and saw something shiny. He lept for it like a cat "oooooohhhhhh SHINY!!!!" he rummaged around and finally pulled out a metallic blue choker. He tried to put it on but he couldnt so he walked over to Kane. "C..can you give me a hand with this?" Lan said as he turned around so his back was pressed against Kane.

Kane blushed as Lan backed up against him. Trying to keep cool, he said "Sure thing." He slipped the collar around Lan's neck and clipped it in back. "There you go. It looks good on you," he said as he tickled lan's neck. "So, um.....Lan? What are we? I mean," Kane blushed harder, "are we....boyfriends?" He almost whispered the last word as if saying it too loud would cause some kind of avalanche.

Lan flushed and leaned his back against Kane while taking hold of his hand. "I.....I hope and think so..." he said as he moved one hand up to place on Kane's neck. "I.....I h..hope you dont have a pr....problem with it.."

Ryzil's eyebrow twitched "dont. Even. THINK. About. It" he growled lowly, his eyes flashing as he took a few menicing steps towards the laughing angel {i think we lost our elf}

Kane's face got hot and his head felt light. "Well then, we are," and with a peck, Kane flitted off back to the piles of boxes. 'Gotta find one now,' he thought as he searched. He was looking for a specific item that he felt was needed to make their little agreement reality. If he could just find on good enough, he would feel on top of the world.

Lan flushed and smiled as Kane dug through the piles. He reached over to where he had found the choker. His eyes widened and his ears perked. "Kane!! look at these!" Inside the box were lots of rings, necklaces, chokers, and bracelets of all shapes, designs, colors, and materials. "I can't believe no one took this!" Lan said running his hand through the treasures.

Kane hurried to Lan's side. "Oh my god," he gaped in disbelief, "You're right!" He reached in and felt the bangles to insure that they were real. "These are all so beautiful." Digging through the box with a discerning eye, Kane found exactly what he was looking for. Glancing at Lan he pulled out two rings; one with a light blue stone, and one with a dark blue stone. "Lan, did you know that the angels that Idescend from have a special traditon?" Kane's cheeks were red and his heart was beating fast.

Kane smiled sheepishly and said, "They say that the eyes are the protals to the soul, so when two people plan to share their lives they are supposed to wear rings that share the color of their beloved's eyes. So I thought that we could do the same. It represents the bondt that love forms; that it is so strong that we have a direct link to each others' souls." Kane proffered the dark blue ring to Lan and held his breath as he waited to see what lan's responce would be. He felt faint from the anticipation.

Lan blushed and for a moment was lost for words. "I.....I c...couldn't be any happier.." he flushed as he gently took hold of the hand that held the ring and moved close to Kane. Lan deftly slide the ring on his finger as he kissed Kane.
