"You must live in fear of the day I catch you in a pretty red dress or something." Once she was done taking a soft jab at her friend, she went on to try explaining the Trial system from what she knew off hand. Though, she wasn't exactly certain on the matter, but fortunately one of the workers approached to confirm her interpretation.
"Oh, awesome, thanks. We were mainly looking for a few things to do while we were in the area, and the Trials just happened to catch my friend's eye here." Luca returned the secretary's smile, though her eyes had narrowed with an almost predatory glint. "We'll certainly keep that in mind... Well, Sylva? He didn't quite care for travelling over the water; there wasn't much to do, so the trainer often found himself restless and more irritable than usual. He hoisted his bag onto his shoulder, and powered on. He had a little under an hour to get to the train station off of Route 1, so he actually had a half of an excuse for his rudeness.
As he made it to Hao'oli City proper, one of Dallas' poke'balls vibrated."Hm?" It was Duchess' ball. Her trainer released her, and as soon as she came out, she started to sneeze repeatedly. "Hey, hey, easy, Duchess." Dallas took a knee, and checked the Furfrou's snout."Hm...well! I think you might've caught some sorta bug, Duchess. Do you hurt?" She shook her head, and sneezed in his face on accident. She lowered her head and whimpered, prepared for a scolding. Instead, Dallas gave her a good scratch behind her ears, and wiped his face off with his sleeve."I think you'll be okay, gal," he said optimistically. "C'mon, let's get going." Duchess let out a happy bark and another sneeze, and followed closely behind her trainer.

Sylva actually felt her cheeks redden some with Luca's mild teasing. She'd walked right into that one hadn't she? Still, the red-head sported a grin. "Red clashes hardcore with my hair." She replied, trying to keep the joke going. Though, it wasn't long before their conversation transitioned to talk of the trials. The secretary's assistance in crossing the t's and dotting the i's, did get Sylva's attention. A way to prolong their adventure, and get in training? Seemed pretty cool. "Yea, that does sound kinda cool." The red-head replied. Though as she turned to give Luca her answer, Rolex popped out of his ball seemingly dazed a bit. Sylva looked down at her companion, a brow quirked. He looked... confused? Wixon stepped up, staring at the Ivysaur. He let out a low grown, then plopped down onto the ground. Sylva knelled down and instinctively went to rest a hand on his head, only she could feel the heat coming off him before she even touched his scaly skin. "Woah, Rolex... you're burnin' up." Sylva stated. "Hold on body, we're heading to the Pokemon Center anyway." She added, calling him back into his ball, then standing up to face Luca. "Rolex doesn't look to good." Turning towards the secretary, Sylva gave the woman a nod. "Thanks for the info."

Nurse Joy was a lot of help. Erryn understood the PC, as it was called, a lot better now. And, the best part was, she could carry an extra six Pokemon with her! She just couldn't use them for battles unless she put them on the active team. The outside world was amazing. There was so much to learn; and, it was all stuff she was interested in. For now, though, she decided to leave Grimer in the PC. Or, well, not on her. Apparently, being in the PC just meant it was under the care of Professor Oak. And, she trusted that he'd take care of Grimer for the time being."Okay! Let's see what else there is to do while we work on training!"

When they reached the end of the city limits that lead to Route 1, Dallas couldn't help but turn around and take one last look at the region that had given him such an interesting adventure. He had beaten up some loser gangsters, hung out with wandering monks; he had beaten all comers in an illegal Cute Contest, and then defeated many more at the Coordinator Corps...and he met a friend. Mitsu beamed and picked Hoshi up, hugging him as Mizu went to retrieve the stolen trinket."That was awesome, Hoshi! So were you, Akari!"Mitsu let the two Pokemon down as he knelt to take the tiara from Mizu, putting it proudly back onto his head. It was great to have it back. He felt almost naked with his tiaras. Erryn walked out of the Pokemon Center to find more Pokemon to train against and hopefully catch. Maybe she should be more...frugal...when it came to catching Pokemon. Or, did she? Was there a standard she should consider or just go all out? As she thought about it, Erryn overheard a couple people talking by accident, but was much more intrigued by the Pokemon that was with them. One was dressed in a cute little suit and the one of the other three was really kind of neat."Wow! That Pokemon is so pretty!"Erryn got out her PokeDex and let it scan the Pokemon the person was holding, boundaries flying right over her head. "Phione, the Sea Drifter Pokemon. It drifts in warm seas. It always returns to where it was born, no matter how far it may have drifted." Phione, huh? It looked different than the picture the dex provided. Way different. It didn't even look like a Water-type. Weird....Maybe it was just dressed to look that way?"Lu...."

Following after Luca, Sylva kept her grip on Rolex's ball tight. The Pokemon Center indeed wasn't to far, and within less than a five minutes they were already walking up to the doorway of the center. To the side of the door, taped to the window a piece of paper with the word ' Notice' was written in big, bold letters. Sylva was mildly curious as they grew closer. "Oh!" Sylva pointed to the paper. "It's Pokerus season." She stated. "I've heard of that." Just about anyone has, even non-trainers knew about Pokerus, because it effected all Pokemon. Did Rolex have that? Maybe... he had all the symptoms listed on the paper. Still, Sylva wanted to get him checked out, just in case. "Nurse Joy must be busy with Pokerus season. But I still want Rolex to get checked." Better safe than sorry. Surprising since Sylva didn't think she'd be this attached to being a trainer... only a short while after starting her journey with Luca. She did like Rolex though, he had a pretty cool personality, and he didn't seem to be afraid of Liersa... which was always a nice thought.

Luca gave her companion a rather quizzical look, continuing into the building so that they could take care of Rolex. "What is it, exactly? I haven't heard of it before."

Was it a virus, or just a normal, seasonal sickness like the pokemon equivalent of the flu?
