He figured she simply didn't want to talk about her parents and let it go at that. "Fair enough." He said with a nod as he nuzzled her neck lightly.

This made her smile. But the cold of the water was starting to get to her. "Either we need to start swimming again or I need to dry out." she spoke softly not really liking either option because they both require that he let go of her.

"Why don't we head out. I'll go get some towels so we don't have to freeze when we get out." He said, slowly letting go of her.

She nodded and reluctantly let go of him.

He gave her one last kiss on the cheek before swimming back to shore and heading into his house. When he came back out he had a towel around his waist and another in his hand.

She smiled and followed him up. Moving slower then she had been, by the time he came back she was just making it up the shore. Her white underclothes clung to her. She wrung out her hair as she waited for him to come closer.

He made his way over to where she was and waited for her to finish drying out her air before he put the towel over her shoulders. "Better?" He asked, starting to dry himself off.

"A little." She smiled and hugged the towel to her at first. "Thank you." Once she felt she was a bit warmer she started to dry herself. soon she wrapped the towel around her torso and began to braid her hair back.

When he figured he had dried himself off good enough he went over to his clothes and pulled his pants on before going back down by the water and sitting by the edge. He thought for a moment and laid his towel down next to him for her to come sit if she wanted to.

"Drying your towel out?" She asked as she went to the tree where she left her things. She slid off the towel and decided there was no getting her underclothes dry enough to be comfortable under her dress. She she quickly took them off and slid her dress back on. It felt odd, just wearing her dress. But she brushed it aside and fastened her belt on as well before coming back from be hind the tree, holding the towel and wet cloths.

"Not really. Figured you might like a seat that isn't dirt so you don't ruin your clothes." He said, looking over his shoulder at her as she came out from behind the tree.

She laughs a little. "I think I could handle a little dirt. But thank you." She drops her bundle and sits down next to him on the towel.

She lays her head on his shoulder as they look out on the lake.
