Oxygen escaped Dustynn's lungs as he was suddenly being choked by the demon. So Demitri really was his "guardian angel". Why couldn't he have two? Now he was probably going to die. The purple haired boy envisioned his obituary. Dustynn Loch was murdered by being strangled by an entity from another world. That would get a very good laugh.

But the boy laughed instead, even though it was a painful sound. "Piece of sh*t? You're going to have to do a lot better if you want to make a mark on this trouble maker." He gasped, trying to stay tough even though he was quickly losing consciousness.

The Demon was very much enjoying the suffering of the bodyguard, but he knew that as much as he wanted to he can't kill the pest. For all he knew, the presence that had repelled him would probably stay with the kid, and that was something that he couldn't risk. His best bet would probably be to hold the pest hostage.

A shiver ran over Olan, as if something terrible was happening, but he couldn't stand up and investigate. Dustynn had ordered him to sit here and stay. That was probably the only thing he could do, because even though he wanted to stand his body just won't listen to him.

"Are you alright, little one?" Demitri asked, keeping her voice even although she was completely frightened for her brother. She could feel his suffering, it was the downfall of their twin link. Slowly loosing oxygen, consciousness slipping... The terrifying vibes were starting to bring Demitri down, but she could not leave Olan to help out her brother. He was going to have to suffer on his own.

Dustynn's eyes were starting to feel heavy. No, he couldn't fall unconscious. Bad things always happen when you fall unconscious. But he couldn't stop it. The darkness began clouding his vision before he could even stop it. But right before losing it, the young gang leader muttered, "You'll never find him."

Olan shook his head. Though he wanted to tell Demitri-san that he wanted to go find Dustynn or at least ask her to return to him, his lack of voice was a huge disadvantage. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to try to communicate with her. For all he knew, maybe she can read lips as well.

"I'm very worried about your brother," he mouthed. "I really want to go back and see if he's okay, but at the same time I'm afraid. Isn't there anything at least one of us can do?" He couldn't just sit here and do nothing while the gang leader's life is at stake. Hopefully, he wasn't too late.

The Demon smirked when he saw the pest finally pass out, and thus loosened his grip on the throat. There was no need to deprive him of anymore oxygen. It was about time, too. If the presence returned, he might as well put his plan in the trash. "Never find him, eh?" he said, chuckling. "I won't need to."

Demitri just smiled and whispered quietly, "I cannot read lips." Since she expected a heart-fallen face, she quickly added, "But I can hear your soul speaking. Just think what you want." She said, looking over her shoulder for anybody else coming. Dustynn wasn't back yet, this wasn't how the plan was supposed to go!

Olan was slightly disappointed that Demitri-san couldn't read lips, but there was another way to communicate. All he needed to do was to send thoughts, which he decided to try. 'I think something terrible happened to your brother,' he thought, hoping that maybe that was enough. 'Isn't there something either of us can do? I don't know if he can stand a chance against that Demon.'

Demitri swallowed hard and nodded, a small smile gracing her lips to try and lighten the mood, even if it was just a little bit. "My brother is strong. He should be able to handle himself. However, he created his plan fully aware that he was probably going to die, since it seems that our Demon friend doesn't like playing with others." Demitri's eyes softened as she looked down. "There is nothing that we can do, since I intend to stick to my brother's plan."

'But we can't let him die!' Olan thought desperately. 'You want him to live as much as I do, right? Maybe we can find a way around this.' His hands clenched into fists, though he was only vaguely aware of it. 'He never told me about any plan, so I bet I can go back and help him. I don't care if he told me to stay here.'

Right then he stood up and began to walk toward the exit of the church. The only task he focused on was to return to the alleyway and make sure Dustynn was okay. If he was in trouble, then Olan would help him. It was as simple as that.

Demitri glared at the doors, which slammed shut automatically. All of the candles inside the now dark room flickered to life, as if someone had gone around and lit every single one of them simultaneously. The purple haired girl glanced down at the floor, and if she could, she probably would have been crying, but she wasn't.

"I wish I could save him, but I would like nothing more than for him to come and join me." Demitri said quietly, staring at Olan. "To want him to live is not my dream. I just want him to be happy." She added, but then her mood grew a bit darker as she continued. "He would always tell me that he was ready to die, that father wasn't getting any better, and that he was ready to come join me. But then you came along, and now he barely even looks at me."

While the doors shut and the room suddenly lit up, Olan stopped in his tracks, turning around to face Demitri-san. Apparently, she wasn't going to let him go, but what about her brother? He could be dead right now and she isn't bothering to go find out! She would want to help him as well or at least check up on him, right?

A curiosity seemed to come to him after hearing her speak. He just didn't understand what was going on. 'Why are you telling me all of this?' he thought. 'Why are you keeping me here? Do you actually want him to get killed?' A slight anger was growing within him, but he didn't want to let it out. He shouldn't let his feelings get the best of him.

"Hm... Want him dead? That would actually be nice." Demitri smiled hauntingly, a very bad trait that her father and her shared. They both had horrible intentions, and the same anger, and exactly the same evil grin that signals a true menace hiding behind a pretty doll face.

"However, he has a gang to run. I can't just let him die. No, of course not. I left a part of my spirit with him, the part that doesn't protect, but keeps alive. He won't die anytime soon unless our lovely Demon friend decides to cast me out of my brother."

At that very response, Olan paled and trembled. He was sure that he had seen the smile before, but he couldn't exactly recall who it once belonged to. So... she apparently did want Dustynn to die? She would have left him to die if he wasn't in charge of a gang? What kind of sister was she?!

It wasn't until his back hit the closed doors that Olan realized he had been backing away. 'I don't understand,' he thought. 'What do you mean by that? What are you saying?'

Demitri's smile faded quickly as she stood up and silently "walked" towards the younger boy. Her hair swished with an inhumanly essence as she walked, her face masked with emotionless. Finally, she stopped in front of the younger boy, hovering close to him, if that's what it was called.

"What do I mean by that? If my bit of soul is correct, my brother is already on the brink of death. If our friendly Demon decided that he wanted to, he could have already killed Dustynn already. But he's still alive." She said, the smile returning. "You seem surprised. I guess Dustynn never told you that I am my father's daughter."

Olan found himself utterly frozen when Demitri-san floated up to him. He wished that by now the doors would open so he could run. It was starting to become unbearable staying in the same room as a possibly deadly ghost. Now he really wanted nothing more than to leave and at least attempt to locate Dustynn.

'Does he know about this side of you?' he thought to her. 'And what connection do you have with that Demon?' He then shook his head. 'Nevermind, don't answer either of these questions. Just... just please let me out of this place.'

Demitri smiled. "Of course Dustynn knows about this side of me. It's the only side he knows. After all.. he was my favorite... subject?" Demitri tested the word to see if she could get a rise out of Olan. In fact, Dustynn was no more than a toy to her, and he willingly gave himself up to her. Either by request of her father, or just because she was his sister, she wasn't sure. She disappeared in a swirl of smoke, just to reappear by her grave. The apple parcel was still there, which she picked up and unwrapped. The browning Red Delicious suddenly turned into a vivid Granny Smith. Demitri took a bite, a black liquid running down her lip.

"Oh, my brother knows me all too well." She smirked, then turned towards Olan again. "I'm sorry, did you want some, too?" She asked, offering him the bitten fruit. The black liquid was a glittering black, with the taste of fresh blood. But just the color of the strange liquid was enough to send almost all people reeling.
