"Sorry I'm late," he said, sliding onto a stool next to her.
"Hope you don't mind I ordered your drink," she replied, sliding a glass of whiskey on top of a napkin over to him.
"That works," he replied.
"I take it your day didn't go well," she commented, observing his flustered state.



He didn't respond to her statement as he raised the glass and took a sip. Despite the wince of the burn of the alcohol going down his throat, the alcohol quickly calm his nerves.
"If you would rather go home to end the day, you can. I won't be offended."
He shook his head as he turned and smiled at her, after setting the glass back down.
"No. Spending the evening with you is exactly what I need."
"Well... glad to be of service," she said, returning the smile.
"You never fail to amaze me."
"How so?"
"You always seem to know exactly what I need without me having to say it."
"What? You mean, the drink selection?" she said. "Not exactly a miracle. I've seen you order that several times before."
"At least you know what I order rather than just ordering some poor quality beer."
She laughed, "Touché."

"I was able to get a last minute invitation to the party but only if you promise to attend. It's a couples only occasion, so it's the only way in."
"That so?"
"Laugh all you want, cowboy," she replied.
"You really think they will believe we're together?"
"They already do," she retorted. "Some of them even kept calling you my husband."
"Well, if we're going to get this taken of, then let's do it."
"You sure?"
"Like you said, it's the only way in," he said. "And I'm sure neither of us are up to the idea of playing the role of staff and finding ourselves spending more time there than necessary."
"Okay," she replied. "I'll call them and let them know we're both attending. The event starts at 7 PM sharp, so pick me up around 6:30 PM. That should allow enough time for us to get there and arrive at a respectable time. And cowboy, make sure you dress up for the occasion. As much as I love the plaid, it won't fly at this party."
"Will do," he laughed before she ended the call.

She broke down crying after she subconsciously acknowledged the situation had finally come to an end and the foolish boys - as they weren't worthy being called men - wouldn't be bothering her anymore. He pulled her into his chest, gently wrapping his arms around her.
"We can't leave her," he quietly commented, looking over at his wife.
"You think I was going to suggest it?" His wife replied. "To hell with that."
"What do you have in mind?"
"Let's take her back to our place."
"You sure?"
"Getting out of this city will do all of us good."

I'm surprised Gaia doesn't have more daisy flower options. Like aside from the old school daisy bouquet you can create utilizing the items found in Towns and a few hair clip items, they don't have any daisies for you to hold like other flowers.

As you can tell "Cowboy" has become my nickname for JDM. Just suits him... and it stuck when I listened to certain songs with "Cowboy" in them and imagined it was me singing to JDM. sweatdrop
