"You're a long way from home, child," said an elderly priest coming to a brief pause nearby.
Shanairra looked up from where she watched two squirrels chasing each other around one of the trunks of the tree.
"Is it that obvious?" inquired Shanairra.
"While you fit in perfectly as a follower of the Lady of the Forest," he continued, stepping up beside her. "Your attire is certainly different than what is traditionally seen here in Waterdeep."
"I suppose that's true," replied Shanairra. "Even with it being a major port."
"What brings you here?"
"Just passing through. I've been traveling for some time that it's nice to stop somewhere that feels a bit like home."
"The Lady must be smiling upon you, child."
"What makes you say that?"
"Only her most treasured followers would be granted the opportunity to weld such powerful items," said the priest, nodding towards the staff in her hand.
Shanairra glanced over at the gnarled wooden staff in her hand. It had been the latest 'trinket' she had acquired during her journeys.
"I just hope her blessing will continue to be strong when the staff is brought to use in battle."

Ugh. I'm so tired of constantly getting up to let people in the door every few minutes.

Good morning everyone. It's been a crazy few days and I'm just hoping today will be back to its usual Sunday pace and I won't have to deal with another day of frustration.

I ended up deciding to purchase a ticket to go see The Unholy at the movie theater near my place for tonight. I am so glad they still have it available as an option at this point because I was really wanting to see it.

At this time, it looks like I'm the only one who will be in the auditorium for the movie. We'll see if that stays the same or not by the time I go to see it.

I wish I could do my online training classes online but because of them randomly deciding to bring up a new feature regarding Food Worker's Card and it being for a past date, it's essentially blocked me from doing anything until the card one is taken care of. I already took of the original one that was for this year when it first popped up but shortly after that got cleared, it decided to do this past one. I already informed the office assistant about it to inform her I can't do any classes until it's taken care of the "administrator's" end. stressed

I had told her about it too because I was concerned others might be dealing with the same issue and it's preventing them from doing classes for last month (which it was still April at that time).

I like getting my classes done early in the month... but now I'm just having to play the waiting game until I'm able to do anything again.
