Amy finally left the bar for a little bit to go join Velcore and Thistle. Maybe if Velcore was around while Amy tried to play with her, Thistle would warm up to her faster.
Amy sat down on the couch that Velcore was sitting in front of and she leaned down to pet Velcore on the head with a smile on her face.
"Hey there, Velcore. Thank you for keeping Thistle company while I've been busy."

*After yet another long day at work, he pulls out his key to the backdoor, then remembers the new scanning device. He puts the key in the lock and lets the scanner do its thing with his hand print on the pad. He turns the key and opens the door, then locks it again behind him after he enters. He heads downstairs, drops his coat and hat off at the coat rack, then heads straight for their bedroom. He strips off his street clothes, places them on the chair with his gear belt, then slips into bed. It does not take long at all for him to fall asleep.*
