Alec was a little let down that this was his second to last year of quidditch playing, but then again, it wasn't like he had any famous aspirations. At least he didn't have to worry about exams on top of practice this year. He took a form from Eve with a wave, realizing they were down a chaser and a seeker this year. Luckily they'd have plenty of reserves; Gryffindor was always full of athletic first years... or first years who thought they were athletic.

Drew was glad that she has an excuse to go outside, given the new workload and all. She decided that she really did love Quidditch and her two younger siblings have every reason to like it. And here she thought that she was going to be a lone non-Quidditch type like Matteo, huh? Nah. She casually waved a greeting at Gabby as she filled up a form, giving Eve a smile as well. But when she looked at Zach, all she could ever do was a sheepishly awkward wave to him. Ever since the Whitethorne twins flat-out told her that she was possibly related to their great-uncle, Drew felt like she got hit by a dodgeball back when Donner threw her the ball straight to her head to "get her attention". Then, she sighed in resignation and felt like she was obligated to try talking to Zach to clear her head once more, "Hey, Zach. Did you know that your whole Drew Eide-Whitethorne theory still kept me up at night because I honestly don't know how to tell this to my pappa? Because I do." Hell, it didn't help that her godfather was married to a Whitethorne. Gosh narm it.

Myron was relieved he'd recovered enough over the summer to be back playing quidditch enough. If he got one more random muscle spasm he'd start screaming in frustration. The way Mad saw it, he was making first string, since Eve was graduating this year, and her beater spot would open it. That was, so long as he kept on Lucy's good side. That sort of thing was usually a struggle for him, but he typically just didn't say anything during practices and tryouts and grit his teeth whenever someone said something particularly dumb, which was pretty often with this bunch. Not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier, not that he could really talk. At least he wasn't obnoxiously stupid.

Her dad had played beater for Gryffindor... or, had tried. She doubted he'd even showed up to practice half the time. What a slacker. She was going to commit. ╰☆╮Gi walked out onto the pitch with a borrowed broom in hand having forgotten to tell her mother that she had actually signed up for the Quidditch team. In retrospect, she hadn't thought it'd be a big deal considering she was a reserve, a second reserve at that!, so the chances of her playing had been slim to none. She had honestly only sighed up because she'd heard they were in desperate need and she couldn't allow herself not to help at such a plea. And if she were totally honest, it was kinda cool seeing the game from the reserve section rather than the other parts of the stadium. Her only regret was that she couldn't take her camera. She grinned seeing Drew already there and jogged the rest of the way before stopping to take a form from a smiling Gabby then going over to her friend. Gi was a tad confused on why she was talking to one of the Whitethorne twins since besides the team she hadn't thought they were on friendly terms. Though, hadn't he been there when she had been talking to that really short adult at the station? She thought he had. Weird. "Hey guys! What's with the face, Drew?" she asked concerned.

Brianna wandered onto the pitch, ready for tryouts. She was a little nervous about this year, however, if only because of her exams. The blonde knew she'd need to put more time towards studying, which would mean putting less time towards other things such as hanging out with friends and playing quidditch. As she filled out her form, Bree tried to push those thoughts out of her mind. You have got to focus! she told herself before proceeding to hand in her form and begin stretching. As she did so, hazel eyes scanned the field. Colton's girlfriend hadn't shown up, just like she said she wouldn't. Honestly, it drove Brianna mad. Mackenzie was being very unreasonable. After six years of playing as the reserve, she finally had a real shot at being on the first string team, and she was just going to let that position go?! Lucy ran as fast as she could towards the pitch, cursing at herself for being late. Well, she wasn't really late, but she was the vice-captain and she should at least show up earlier to help Eve. "Hey everyone," she called out as she reached the group. "Sorry about coming in late," she told Eve as she handed in her form before going to start her stretches with Alec. Eve might ask her to stay and watch but Lucy figured it was a good idea to warm up just in case.

Maura honestly had no idea what she was doing here. When she heard about the try outs she decided to read up a bit on Quidditch to see what it was all about. The Keeper seemed to be the only position that she could recall, so that was probably a good position to go for. Sure she was new to flying since her mother was...a muggle, was that the word?
Sure it was probably crazy to try out for this completely unknown sport on her first year with the bare minimum of flying experience. But her grandmother did always say to take risks where she could. So with a small grin on her face she took the form from the captain and began filling it out.

Ana trotted down to the Quidditch Pitch with a loaner broom slung over her shoulder and smiled excitedly at the gathering of Gryffindors. She was excited to try out for the team because she'd been dreaming about Quidditch since the summer. She took the form and filled it out as best she could. Practically bouncing with excitement, the hyper Gryffindor glanced around at the gathering, sizing up her chance to make it onto the team. Regardless of if she made first string or back-up, Ana was excited.
