"Here" Lan said as he gently picked up Kane in his furry arms. He made a run towards the fence and then to the side as he jumped of a wall and over the fence. "There we go" he said as he blushed as he let Kane down. "I've lived in the city my entire life. I never told anyone my name. I just hunted demons for a long time" he leaned his head on Kane's shoulder. "You've bound to have heard some of my nicknames"

Kane blushed and averted his eyes. "You know...fallen angels are considered demons because they've been banned form heaven and bound to darkness." Then, trying to repair the mood a little, "Umm...so what were your names?" He asked as he led lan toward the warehouse with a rusting metal door that stretched almost the entire width of the building.

Lan suddenly took hold of Kane's face. "Look at me....You are not a demon nor will you ever be. You saved me like no light angel could ever do. With what happened to my parents.......and what that demon did to me...." he could not hold it in anylonger. He started to cry into Kane's shoulder.

At first, Kane's eyes went wide with fear and he grabbed lan's wirsts in defense, but as soon as heheard what Lan said he relax and listened. Then, as Lan collasped sobbing into his shoulder, Kane wrapped his arm around him. "Don't cry. I'm right here for you." Kan sat own with Lan on the flatten dirt and held him. "Lan, what are talking about? What did a demon do?" Kane was beging to see why Lan had acted so violently to Ryzil when they had first met.

"A.....after he k...killed my parents...." Lan choked out, his tears making Kane's shirt wet."H...he took me.....a...and he..." then he whispered ".....he r...raped me..." he fell to his knees and brought his hands up to his face. He sobbed uncontrolably.

Tears were welling up in the corners of Kane's eyes. "I-I'm so sorry...." Kane did not know what he could do to console Lan. 'He hides it so well....' "Lan, please, don't cry. I'm always going to be here to protect you, so you don't have to be sad anymore. And you'll never have to be scared again because I'm going to make sure that no one ever hurts you again." Kane held lan tightly in an embrace and rubbed his back. "I'm going to be with you..."

"I....I don't deserve you..." Lan sobbed, leaning into Kane. He brought his arms under Kane's so that his elbows hooked around Kane's shoulder. "Y....you are too good for me. Wh....How can y....you love me?" Lan's ears flattened against his white hair. "I....Im filthy....and...you are just too beautiful..."

Kane kissed Lan on the head. "What are you saying? You're the one who told me that my secret did not make me worthless of filthy. The same is true for you." Kane rested his head on Lan's. "There is nothing in this world that could make me love you less. After all you have done for me? I would be crazy not to love you." 'If I am beautiful, then so are you.'

Lan broke down and just fell onto Kane, bringing both of them down to the ground. His tears slowed down as he continued to cry into Kane's shoulder. "Th...thats why i tried to kill Ryzil......he...he looked like the demon who.....who did that to me....." as the tears slowed, he leaned up and kissed Kane on the lips.

Kane continued to hold Lan and listened to everything he said. "Well, don't worry now, okay? I'm going to be here for your whenever you need me now." Kane did not mind that Lan had fallen on him. He just wanted to make Lan feel better. If there was anything he could do for Lan, he would have done it. He did not want to watch Lan in such pain.

Finally, Lan got off of Kane and rubbed his eyes. "S...sorry about that....I just am really sensitive..." he helped Kane up. He hugged Kane and nuzzled his neck with his ears. "S.....so....what about this ware house" he said before looking him in the eyes and saying "thank you"

Fa-q91 Zayroen Ryzil chuckled and shook his head "you should save it, it could be worth something some day" he said with a small grin that for anyone else would have been a wide one Lucca rolled his eyes and put the napkin in his pocket "Yeah...when I get sick" He said sarcastically and smiled at the demon

Lucca chuckled "Come on, you just can't resist to my cuteness, and you know it" The angel said smirking "Besides...I don't look good in dresses because I don't have man boobs to fill them...unlike some others" He said sharply
