Oh, is that how it was going to be? Two could play that game.

He jerked the reigns to the side, dodging a bit of snow that looked "suspicious."

"Better than ever! Things are really perking up after all that publicity." Cerpin was expecting Underworld to grow bigger and bigger if he could connect it to more events like that. Chittentown was a dry dusty town and it absorbed glamour and culture like water because of it. There wasn't much else to do around the place when you were done with tinkering or haggling the markets for the day!

"s**t, the wind really bites. You gonna be okay, kiddo?" Makkah was proving to be pretty strong but she was still small. He tugged off his scarf and wrapped it around her. She was already dressed warm but more layers couldn't hurt!
