Camden's head had been laying her lap for the longest time, worrying Terriermon. One minute she was enjoying the tournament with people who she wanted to make friends and then the next minute all hell broke loose and the stadium was destroyed. She ran with the two she was with but when they were evacuated she lost track of them. She was hopeful to see them but with all the crowds of people coming through she couldn't catch a glimpse of them. She found herself now sitting on the curb of the street across from the Registration building. Thinking about the coliseum falling all around her she gripped her arm sleeve and she dug her head deeper into her lap."Camden...Are you okay come please answer me! Sitting there all quiet and stuff is really creeping me out!"he ordered with his voice catching from held back worry. He looked down angry that he couldn't do anything to help back there, he was just too small, he would've been crushed like a pancake... "Terriermon"she finally spoke to her partner. He jerked his gaze up immediately to hear what she had to say but what he saw was definitely unexpected. Her face was winched and tears streaming down her face,"Camden..."She blinked out more tears and whimpered,"T-that w-was so scary!"Terriermon came closer and dug himself into her lap and she followed him into a hug, his ears wrapping around her head and parts of her shoulders. She began to sob into his shoulder and tightened her grip on him with her arms and legs. While Terriermon usually would try to wiggle his way out of this he only petted her head with his ear to try and comfort her. After a solid minute of sobbing she loosened her grip and looked at him asking,"H-How are you not scared?"He stood atop her knees and puffed out his chest,"Because I'm great! I knew we'd be okay! A crumbling building couldn’t take us down no way!"Camden blanked her expression taking in his answer. Either she had the bravest digimon ever or the densest one, but in a way he was right. His words had no effect but his confidence seemed to lift her spirits like it never even happened. She wiped her tears and picked him up with both hands and squished their cheeks together affectionately,"Oh you're the greatest little guy," Terriermon blushed a bright pink and wiggled out of her grip,"Come on! I'm not little I'm the perfect battle size!"She let out a light laugh and wiped the face one more time,"You know what we need?”she looked at him curiously,”STRAWBERRY DONUTS!”he announced. She stared at him blankly again and sighed wondering just how oblivious to the mood he really was. She stood up and reached down for him, “Well for cheerin’ me up how ‘bout we make it with extra strawberries?” His eyes beamed and he ran up her arm and pointed her towards the café,“LETS GO!”She had trouble walking with his figgeting on top of her head but she managed to start walking in a straight line soon enough.
Terriermon leaped from Camden's head and glided to the ground then started to joyfully run to the cafe, just a little bit ahead of them now. Camden tripped over herself and grabbed onto a nearby chair to keep herself from falling. Terriermon seemed so excited he wasn't paying attention to anything else, "Maybe I shouldn't have promised extra strawberries..." She straightened herself back up and started to walk in Terriermon's path but she was stopped in her tracks by a horrible scream, "NOOOOOOOOOO!"She recognized it as Terriermon and ran to him. What could he be screaming about so much she wondered. By the time she ran up to the cafe she found Terriermon on the ground weeping and the bird digimon server, a Biyomon, in panic. She bent down and reached for him,"Terriermon! What happened are you okay?"He turned around with tears in his eyes and in his small hands he was gripping a crushed strawberry,"Wha-what happened?" she asked confused. The Biyomon walked closer to her and answered in a sad toned voice,"I was just telling him a thief came and took off with all of our desserts not too long ago."Camden rubbed his back but she was relieved it wasn't anything life threatening. The Biyomon seemed to cry into her wing,"The poor thing...the thief ran right into him and smashed the fresh strawberries right in front of him, he must be so traumatized,"the Biyomon's voice caught and she was weeping for Terriermon, but again she's glad he wasn't hurt but he was heartbroken, just moments ago he had his heart set on stuffing his little face with those donuts but now he wouldn't get the chance. Terriermon stood up and with his hands trembling he stuffed the strawberry in his mouth and at ate with a angry look on his face. Camden was very confused but Terriermon then turned and ran again screaming,"GET BACK HERE YOU DEMON!" Camden called out,"Wait come back!" She started to follow him but the Biyomon grippedher arm,"Before you go tamer take this, its what the thief looked like." Camden took the napkin with the sketch of the culprit and nodded,"Thank you we'll do our best!"she folded it up and put it in her pocket and ran after Terriermon.
Liam was glad Maria was ok and that she had found her friend. As they finished their fight Toucs and Trusy reverted back to their Rookie forms and rejoined the group. Liam gave them a snack to regain their energy. "So Liam did you think that there was that much power inside of you? I haven't been able to Digivolve like that in years!" Trusy laughed in agreement with his friend, "Yes it felt good to be Metal Greymon again... But you have become much more powerful with that new beast spirit evolution. It really was something...I could barely get a hit on you." Toucs nodded and held out a paw, "It was well fought friend... I truly missed this." The little dragon grasped his companion's paw like they had done so many times in the past. Liam smiled, he was glad to have them on his team, although he did often wonder about their past.
Liam turned back toward Maria as she asked him a question. "Yep these are my friends Toucs the Gabumon and Trusy the Agumon.... Oh and the ones that helped us were Faux the Biyomon and Valteir the Hawkmon, just call him Val though he doesn't like his full name.... We are on a quest to explore the Digital world and I'm also helping Toucs with a quest to find some of his friends." The four Digimon each waved or bowed as they were introduced. The Tamer couldn't believe that he had made such good friends in such a short amount of time.
After the introductions Liam noticed the crowd was starting to thin out, he figured they better get moving too. "So Maria I'm glad you found your friend... what are ya'lls plans for today? We are about to head over to the DRF base and look around for a bit if you would like to come.... We haven't been over there yet and i was hoping to run into a familiar face possibly. Ya'll are welcome to join us if you don't have other plans." Liam planned on finding Yolen, he really wanted to know what was going on, especially with the Colosseum collapsing and what not. He figured with their few conversations in the dinner maybe Yolen would be willing to fill him in on it. It was kinda strange after all.
Biyomon was still panicked as she flew into New Network City. She knew she need to get over to the DRF, but she had been flying all night just to get here. What had happened back there? Why were her friends suddenly attacking each other. She didn't understand it but she knew if anyone could help it was these guys. All she had wanted to do was speed a nice relaxing weekend in NNC with her friends but now this was happening and she wasn't even sure if she had any friends left. She needed to rest for a minute so she landed on the roof of the Boxing Bro's guy. It sounded like there was a loud commotion going on inside but she couldn't make any of it out. The she heard a really loud crash. She realized there must have been a battle going on inside.
As she sat there resting people began to exit the building...whatever the crash had been it must all be over now. She wondered who it was. She rested her eyes for a minute trying to regain some strength before making it over to the DRF tower.

Maria Taylor The Book Worm
Location: New Network City (Gym) With: My partner, Liam and his Digimon
Maria listened to Liam introduce his friends with a smile. She was mentally remembering what Digimon was what since she still hadn’t figured that out. “It’s nice to meet you Toucs, Trusy, Faux, Val.”She said with a smile. Feeling better after being thrown in his opinion half way around the world Pabumon smiled brightly at Toucs and Trusy. “You guys were awesome! I want to be that strong too!” he told them. ‘They sure are interesting digimon.’ She thought to herself as she shook her head at her partner.
Looking back to Liam, Maria thought about it for a second. They didn’t have any plans that she was aware of. “We wouldn’t want to be…” she started to say before Pabumon interrupted. “Can we go Maria? Can we please…?” Pabumon practically begged.“We don’t have any plans, right Maria?”he added before she could say a word.“Um… you know he’s right… we don’t having any other plans. So… we’d be happy to come along.” Maria replied looking down at Pabumon who seemed completely delighted. Besides maybe if she was lucky she might hear what really want on at the colosseum. After all she was there and who would know if not the DRF.
Liam smiled glad he for now seemed to have made a human friend. He was also glad it was time to go do what he had really wanted to do today! The DRF Headquarters building was quite amazing, towering over all the other buildings in the city. He had heard that it was filled with the latest tech and the higher you go on the floors the more impressive it is. He was really hoping to go explore it all. He did after all like climbing.
They headed out of the Gym and said good bye to Gaomon and Togamon. Trusy, Val and Toucs jumped back into the Digivice leaving only Faux out to chat up Maria and her friend. "So have you ever been to the DRF Headquarters? I hear it's real nice and I know it's really tall." Liam nodded as the exited the building. "Yep I'm excited to see it, the best look I've had at it was the day we first got here haha. So anyways, the DRF Headquarters is this way!" Liam and Faux started off toward the center of town.
Biyomon's ears perked up when she heard someone speaking about the DRF Head quarters. She sat up and made her way over to the edge of the building she was on to see who it was. It appeared to be a Human and a Biyomon. They must know where it is she thought to herself. She decided to follow them at a safe distance so she couldn't be seen....
Liam really lover walking through the streets of NNC, it was so cool to see all the shops and restaurants that had developed and owned by humans and Digimon alike. The sweet aromas coming from bakeries and the loud cheers coming from a nearby park where there was a game that seemed to resemble soccer going on. It really made him enjoy life in the Digital World and there wasn't a thing he would change.
As they got closer to their destination the building seemed to get bigger and bigger almost seeming to stretch into the clouds. Liam was looking forward to this, hopefully he could meet up with Yolen and ask him some questions! "Almost there guys! Ya'll ready to check it out?"
Biyomon was still watching the group in front of her as they got closer to the building she figured she would go straight to the source and flew toward the open window on the fourth floor.
The two didn't have time to talk much as their food came out in a hurry. Nina was right to see that Gomamon's food was indeed some sort of seafood item. She looked down at her plate and it looked like something like a ball but with different variations of color. She wasn't even sure how to eat this dish. She looked towards her partner but he was much to interested in his own food. She looked back down at her own food and took a bite of the pink ball thing. Once it was inside her mouth it reminded her of a pepperoni pizza. She engulfed the entire pink thing with ease and took bites of the other ball-shaped items. Apparently, these balls all tasted like foods she had in her world. She could understand why such a thing was the most ordered item in this place.
The two consumed their food with no comments between each other. The two thanked the server before walking back out into the city. "Ah~ That meal hit the spot, right Nina?!" She merely nodded her head as they walked down the road. There was no destination in mind. Just walking about to see what other sort of things could be located in the city. Nina saw a huge tower in the distance and asked Gomamon about it. "I'm not really sure....its been under construction for a while now but I hear its mostly a building for humans. So, it doesn't really interest me all that much." She gazed at the tower that was meant for humans. She didn't recollect any information about the tower from when she first arrived here. Was there something important there? She wasn't all that sure but since the two had little to do..... "I'd like to see whats inside. Is that okay, Gomamon?" "I don't really see why not? Maybe it could uncover an adventure!" The little Digimon said with a twinkle in its eye. Anyhow, she really wasn't sure so she headed towards the building with Gomamon at her side.
[LEAVE THE SPACE IN BETWEEN!} - - - - "What I'm really needin' now~ Is a double shot of crown~ Chase that disco ball around, 'till I don't remember~ Go until they cut me off~ Wanna get a little lost, in the noise, in the lights~ Hey bartender~ Pour 'em hot tonight~ Till the party and the music and the truth collide~ Bring it 'till his memory fades away~"
With one yellow tail swinging side to side and fur-coated body spinning around to rhythm of the singing, gabumon X was dancing all the way to his and his tamer's rented room at hallway of a tavern. He had just come back from his afternoon outing with a group of digimon he had befriended in the city. It was only their fourth day living in the city but gabumon X had made quite a lot of friends, both human and digimon. After all he was that something human always called someone who is very social, easy-going, and fun to be with. Ummm...something butter...could it be jam? Nah. Sandwich butter? Sausage butter? Damn, he started to feel hungry now! Come on! Grr...oh! Social butterfly! That's it!
His tamer, on the other hand, was called anti-social wanna-be detective by his friends. Why detective, you asked? Because the past four days she had been doing nothing but walking throughout the city while asking all sort of questions to all sort of people. Most were about digimon and their world and crimes happened in general. His friends were one of those interrogated people and, obviously, she wasn't very well-liked by them. Still, that didn't mean he had to not like his tamer too. In fact, he loved her more than anyone in this digital world!
"Hmmmm~ Yea~ I'm feeling that buzz, I'm ready to rock~ Ain't no way I'm gonna tell you to stop~ So pour that thing up to the top~ I'm coming in hooo--oh, here it's my stop." At last, after taking his sweet time to dance to his heart’s content, he finally reached his destination, the front door of their rented room. Pulled a key out from under his fur, Gabumon X unlocked the door and entered the room silently. “Whoa! The place is dark!” And there he went stating the obvious before grinning slightly.“Alright, time to use the magic!”In next second, he had both of his hands lifted up and—clap clap! “Looks good now!”He said cheerfully as he looked up at ceiling after the room brightened at the clapping command. For some unknown reason, he loved the feeling he got whenever he did that. It just felt…good! Suddenly he had a thoughtful look on his wolf-like face and, before he knew it, his hands had moved up again to…. Clap! Light off. Clap clap! Light on. Clap! Light off. Clap clap! Light o—oooooh! The room right now looked just like one of those tiny flashing colorful lights that were wrapped around a very big tree by human during Christmas! With that realization came to mind, Gabumon X proceeded to clap his hands to a song, Jingle Bell Rock playing in his head.
“This is soooo much fun! I could do this all day!”
“Glad to know you’re having fun.”
Following after that another different voice was a complete silence. No more clapping sounded, the light was left on, and temperature in the room was decreasing fast as each seconds passed by. Gabumon was frozen on the spot, holding his breath back and hands still in fear. Yes, fear, the one that children always got when they were caught red-handed stealing cookies from a jar by their mother. Basically, remember what he had done just a few seconds ago, he knew that he was in sooooo much trouble! Turning around slowly to look at the de—cough cough, pardon, I mean—his tamer, Gabumon gave himself a moment—which felt like eternity—to drink in her form, before greeting with his best cheerful tone.
“H-hey Hi-hikari! Didn’t know you were there…when did you get back?”
“A few hours ago.”Short and straight to the point!
“O-oh…really? Wow, t-that’s good! It had felt so long since I last saw—“
“We have breakfast together this morning.” STAB! OUCH! As sharp as a knife, her words struck his heart hard!
“Haha..haha…ha…I s-see. Well then…I guess you must be thirsty right? I’ll go and get you—“
“Actually I have prepared drinks for both of us. Why don’t you come and take a seat?” True to her words, sitting on top of a wooden table where she had her arms lying on was two can of juices sweating bullets of water on the outside. An attempt to escape the scene terribly failed! Gabumon X gazed around quickly, searching for anything that could be used as an excuse. “Uhh…that’s nice of you..but uhh..sorry, I think I can’t—“
“Take a seat, I insist.”
[[To be continued...when I finally stop feeling like throwing my computer out the window from second floor for making me lose half of my post!]]
[LEAVE THE SPACE IN BETWEEN!} - - - - Gurp, gurp, gurp, gurp! BURRRRRP!!! Realizing how impolite it was to burp aloud with mouth open wide in front of his tamer, Gabumon X closed his mouth and covered it with one hand. His ruby eyes blinked several time in a way, he really believed, made him look cute and innocent in her sight so that she would bestow forgiveness upon him. Yeah, right. As if that was going to happen. Hikari’s thought was along that line. After what had happened earlier, Gabumon X had taken a seat opposite to her and they just finished those two cans of juices. “So…you really aren’t mad at me for playing with the lights like that?” The reptile asked the question for the fifth time in the day, just wanting to make sure. They had talked a bit a few minutes ago and his tamer had repeated her answer as many times as he asked the question. In response to the current one, Hikari shook her head. Gabumon X held his stare at her for a moment longer, then laughed in relief.
“Hahahaha seriously? And here I thought you’re going to order me to run five laps around the city again!” That was his usual punishment he had been receiving since the past four days for running off to somewhere without informing her or receiving her permission. Since he loved to run that much, she decided to be very nice and give him a kind of training suited to his liking very much. And how was his performance? Let’s say it was quite a miracle that he had survived up to now. Gabumon continued to laugh for another moment, before realizing he had been keeping his tamer waiting. “Ah, sorry, sorry, I was—I mean I’m so happy that I can’t control myself. I thought you were angry at me! Anyway, you were saying that you have something to ask me. What’s it?” Knowing he wasn’t going to get in trouble for that had lifted a ton of invincible weight off of his shoulders! However, the weight came back as fast as it parted away, when Hikari suddenly sent him a smile that caught him by surprise. Hikari was never the smiling type. Smirk, sure! But smile? And it was a very cold one, as if it could have frozen a person!
“Gabumon.” His body tensed as he listened to her. For some unknown reason, he started to pay more attention at the digivice being held in his tamer’s hands. Since when had she started the habit of holding the little device instead of attaching it to her waist bag? Yesterday she still had it attached to her waist…so…. His train of thought was forcefully put to a stop when blue ray of lights suddenly shone out of the device screen then followed by a voice. Hikari had clicked something that made the device to project a hologram!
Greeting Tamer! How are you today? Hope we haven't interrupted you from anything. Just in case you forgot, we're Floramon from Flora Village! And we sent you this e-mail to once again thank you for volunteering to help our village as well as provide you a map to the village's location. As we have promised, once you've fulfilled the goal of the quest, you will be rewarded handsomely as well as be treated to a big feast! Please go and see our mayor for the quest once you've arrived. Once again, thank you very much for volunteering! We look forward to seeing you next week in our village! Well then, have a good day! Oh, and don't forget to bring that charming wolf partner of yours too!
Once the robotic voice was done delivering the message, a hologram of message and DRF logo disappeared into the pink D-Power, and following after that was another complete silence. Once again, the reptile was sweating bullets after another. One trouble after another; he really had to go and get his horoscope checked, despite not knowing what the word really meant.
“Your doings, isn’t it?”Stab! She hit the bull eye! Nervous, Gabumon X swallowed the lump that suddenly formed in his throat. Despite the fur pelt, the intensity of her stare was so strong that he started to feel freezing!“Hik-hik-hikari, hold on! Let’s me ex—“ Hikari stopped him by raising her palm up.
“No need for that. I understand.” Her voice sounded calm but didn’t slow down his racing heart at all. “R-really?” He unconsciously asked in whisper. Hikari then nodded. “Your main concern is that we haven’t started journeying to anywhere yet, causing a lack of action you want. Sure, hanging out with friends is fun but that isn’t enough to suffice your craving for adventure, then a hole starts to form inside your heart. With each passing days, the hole rapidly increases in size ‘til you can’t handle it anymore and one day, before you know it, you’ve done something you wish you’d not have done. You tried to come up for a way to correct your mistake but something came to your way and soon you forgot what you were supposed to be doing and all about your mistake. And now that someone found out about it, you started to remember.”Listening to all that, Gabumon X...was speechless. Such perfect deduction sent shivers down his spine. Have she been stalking him or what?
WHACK! "Oowies...that hurts! What's that for?!'Now he was rubbing his poor head from the pain caused by his tamer's hand.
"I know what you're thinking, and to correct another mistake of yours, I don't stalk. Your face said it all. You aren't much of a liar you think you are." Stab! Ouch! And now his poor heart was in pain!
Hikari leant back on the chair and permitted silence to settle between them for a moment to give her partner some time to nurse himself, both physically and mentally, before shooing it away by saying... "As I've stated at the beginning, I understand the reasons behind your impulsive action, thus I decided to go along with your instinct for once."
At those words, the reptile forgot whatever he was doing in favor of staring at his tamer with lower jaw dropping down in shock! Did he hear it right? Or the hit from his tamer just now had caused his senses to go haywire? Because what she just said didn’t sound like the Hikari he knows! But then ‘the imposter’ suddenly smirked. She leant forward, reached one hand out, and smoothly pushed his jaw up closing his opened mouth. “Take my advice: laugh while you can today, Gabumon.” She whispered, “’Cause starting from tomorrow, you might not have time for it.” Oh, boy. Sounded like someone has signed himself up for a hellish training.
Gabumon X gulped loud and clear. Alright, now he really believed that Hikari before him really was Hikari he knows.
Terriermon leaped from the ground and using his ears he glided on the breeze, looking for the thief who had taken his precious strawberry donuts. Looking all around towards the ground he caught site of the short hooded figure with a bag, "Gotcha ya dirty thief!"he cried out. He let the air beneath his ears go as he twisted and called out"TERRIER TORNADO!"A green spinning wind whipped towards the thief, but it saw the incoming attack and swiftly jumped onto a wall and then pushed themselves off in another direction. They landed and whipped around and made an ugly face at Terriermon then started running again. Terriemon landed on a table and grunted,"DANGIT!"he grunted before continuing his pursuit.
"Terriermon wait!"Camden called out to her partner. How could a tamer lose her digimon!? Well she was a little mad for being left behind but also finds herself thinking Terriermon is really cool going after the thief without any hesitation. She stopped and stood still as his attack whipped up a gust. She looked around and saw him continue in the other direction and called out to him,"Hey wait up!"but again he didn't hear her. She let out a low grunt and started to run as fast as she could. After passing the tables and knocking down a chair or two she found Terriermon latched onto the thief's sack being swung around,"Get off you annoying little halfpint!"the thief called out annoyed by Terriermon's persistence. Camden rushed forward to help him, but the thief saw her coming and in one last swing of the back, Terriermon was thrown off, along with a piece of the fabric he was holding, towards Camden. She leaped forward and caught him and rolled on the ground to her knees with Terriermon packed in her embrace,"Camden watch out!"She looked up and was hit in the face by something,"WAH!"she fell back to the ground and thief ran off snickering at the two. While he was upset Terriermon looked to tend to his tamer,"Hey are you crazy! Interrupting a battle like that wait what hit you!?"he complained loudly. Camden lifted her head up and it was smeared in red,"GWAHHHHH!!!"Terriermon screamed at the sight and fell back, all the color gone from his face. Camden touched her face smeared the red and licked her hand and then showed it to Terriermon,"Calm down it's only jelly filling! Some must've been thrown out of the bag," She kept wiping it away with her hand and while sneaking a few licks of the jam Terriermon made his anger obvious,"What were you thinking!? I had him but you came in and-!"
Camden planted her hand on his face and smeared all the jam off like he was a napkin,"W-what are you doing!?"She swept her hand on the ground, ignoring his question, her face surprisingly stern. She looked at him and gave a loud sigh,"Eat some of that," he looked down, still upset,"Listen, getting mad at me and running off without a plan won't get anything done. I mean really are doing this to help the shop owner or out of personal revenge for someone who stole your snacks?" Terriermon couldn't even form words, his face trembling from the shock of her words. It wasn't so much her words affecting him, but the fact that his usually soft-spoken and kindhearted tamer was saying them. Without warning she continued,"We're a team Terriermon, tamer and digimon, that's something you yourself keep telling me, but running off after a dangerous thief without me, well it made me feel like you really don't need me. Are donuts that much more important than-,"he interrupted her,"No that's not true at all! I...just..."he twiddled his fingers and looked downward trying to find words again. Camden patted him on the head to look up and he was relieved to see her usual smile,"I forgive you," she laughed as she said these words and added,"No more running off! We find this guy together and turn him in okay?" Terriermon beamed his usual smirk and leapt onto her shoulder,"Yeah let's get him!" She nodded then pointed to the end of the walkway,"Looks like he left a trail from that rip you made," Terriermon looked and was surprised by the drops of jam and bread crumbs scattered, he didn't even take notice,"Alright come on before he notices it and disappears!"On her shoulder Camden ran through the alley and out the other side where few people were standing but there were warnings for construction hazards, most likely from the colosseum being destroyed. She slowed her pace and the two looked in all directions to try and spot the thief and the trail they followed,"Do you see him?"Terriermon peered all the way around the back but responded no. Camden stopped when they reached another street and began to contemplate what to do now. Their little argument gave him enough time to get away, but with his bag falling apart there should've been some sweets laying around,"Cammy look there," she turned and saw a half donut sitting on the ground.

Maria Taylor The Book Worm

As they made their way to the DRF headquarters Maria happy to have something less active to do. For once Pabumon didn’t mind the lack of action which was nice. Not that he went looking for it he just seemed to want it more often than not. Faux seemed to be rather talkative which was nice. Pabumon was so use to a partner that never said much and always seemed to be confused. “Same here, I’ve never really seen it.” Maria admitted. “You mean that kind of tall?” Pabumon asked with what probably was a rather large grin as he noted the building in the distance. “Yes Pabumon, that kind of tall.” Maria said with a smile as she followed Liam and Faux to the DRF Headquarters.
Both had no idea that they were being followed by another Biyomon. If they had, no doubt would Maria be concerned since it seemed to be in a hurry. Not to mention looked like it was freaking out. As they got closer and closer Pabumon was beginning to realize just how big really big was. “You bet!” Pabumon answered Liam brightly. Anything new interested this baby digimon. “Yeah,” Maria agreed. Something about this place looked promising. Hopefully it really was because if she could figure out some things it would certainly put her mind at ease. Not that she was holding her breath.
Terriermon walked over to the donut they found and sniffed it then started to eat it,"You shouldn't-""This is definitely from the cafe, taste tells the truth!"he pointed out, his mouth partially full. Camden sighed at his skills but took a look back and forth,"Weel if that's true then the thief should be or was close to here." She bent down and looked under the bench and scoped out the ground view for any hiding places.Terriermon froze from his eating and swiftly turned and pushed Camden out of the way,"SUPERSONIC WAVE!" A blast blew a hole in the bench, but luckily Terriermon helped Camden avoid the attack. She looked up and saw the cloaked figure close to the construction signs,"There!"Terriermon opened his mouth a green energy sphere started to form and grow,"BUNNY BLAST!"the energy shot towards his target, but all it hit was a sign. Camden was already off the ground and started to run to him. Making the corner at the damaged sign she saw a wisp of his cloak going inside the blocked off zone. Terriermon looked worried,"What do you want to do? If we get caught in there we could get in as much trouble as that thief..."She ducked under the yellow tape and ran straightforward,"Thief or not it's too dangerous for anyone to be around here. We need to lead him out of this zone."
Camden snuck around the corned of the blocked off building and shifting her eyes she continued past some rubble from the colosseum then ducked down,"There he is," she whispered. She motioned for Terriermon to sneak around and block his front, while she would stay behind and block his path from here. While Terriermon ran off to get in position Camden kept her eye on the thief, who was now going through his bag of stolen goods, but something caught her eye,"Wha-?" Then Terriermon leapt from behind some stones and announced,"Gotcha now! Taste DIGI JUSTICE!" The thief fell back and scurried away towards Camden's direction, but she was popping out and making her big entrance like Terriermon did,"Terriermon use a bunny blast to blast the ground in front of him!" Terriermon jumped and glided with his ears long to to announce,"BUNNY BLAST!" The blast hit just a few feet from in front of the escapee but the blast surprised him and made him fall back,"Ah!" a high pitched voice called out into the air. Terriermon ran towards him but from the smoke created by his blast Camden appeared jumping through it and trouncing the thief. She rolled around the ground with him before getting him tight in an embrace,"Oi got 'imself! Come 'elp me oyt!" she spoke with some of her irsh brogue coming out. Terriermon skipped over but bluntly told her as she was still struggling with the thief,"What the heck are you saying it sounds like you ate a bug..."Camden blushed a bright red and shook her head realizing how she how carried away she had gotten,"Dah! Forget it I said to help me out!"
After they they managed to restrain the thief and tie him up with his own cloak. Camden opened up the bag to inspect the stolen goods,"It looks like the only things that fell out were the ones not in the containers," she pulled out a small flat tray box which shown beautiful intact strawberry donuts. Terriermon had a gleam in his eye and a little drool escaping down his face,"YAY!-"Camden blocked him with the palm of her hand and shook her head in disapproval,"No these are going back to the cafe where they belong, right Terriermon?" He sulked and nodded sitting down defeated. Camden stood up like she was ready to leave but to Terriermon's shock she was walking over to the thief and sitting down in front of him,"Hey hey HEY what are you doing that's the criminal be careful!"She smiled and put her finger over her mouth, signaling him to quiet down. She bent in closer to the cloaked thief,"Are you calmed down now hm?" her question was met with a harsh,"Shut up you stupid human! Terriermon grunted,Why you-!"Camden's hands planted lightly on the thief's head and started to pet it slowly,"What are you doing stop it!" Continuing to pet him she started talking to him again,"I know now you're not really a thief, well a bad one at least, I saw your face you know?" While the thief was shocked she pulled out the napkin the shopkeeper had given her and showed it to him: it was blobbed stick figure with devil like horns,"I got ter say it doesn't do you justice at all," she flipped his hood to reveal something cute and pink with big brown eyes. Camden blushed a little and cheerfully pointed out,"Oh wow you're so cute!" Terriermon came closer and added,"Its a Cutemon! I don't get it there usually so sweet and well mannered..."Cutemon scoffed at Terriermon,"Pft dummy."Terriermon's agitation was smoking out of his head, ready to take the little guy down a peg but Camden tapped the top of Cutemon's head with her fingertips,"Am I right? That you aren't bad? Tell me why would a sweet little thing like you go around stealing desserts?" Cutemon looked away from her gaze but Cutemon could feel her stare piercing her so she tried to form an explanation,"I came to the city...to find a tamer..."The two partners eyes widened, someone his size making it all the way to the city by himself, just to find her tamer,"So you got lost and couldn't find your tamer?" Cutemon looked up angry but red faced and teary eyed,"No I wanted one! I went to the place where humans met digimon to go on adventures with...but I couldn't get in and I-I'm just so small I couldn't get anyone's attention and then I got really hungry and-"

As Kutay exited the teleporter from the Digi-Coliseum, after being rushed out when an Armageddemon showed up and Kronk and Tina kidnapped Jintae, he began wondering what would have happened if he had been there, could he have saved Jintae? He doubted it, knowing of the power of a Mega Level digimon, and not even counting it was Armageddemon, he would have already been out classed by a long shot, not to mention he would have been out numbered as well as he would have had to deal with Kronk as well, and possibly Tina but she may not have been too prevelant due to her injuries from her fight with Haru. Thinking about what could have happened, he realized the best he would have done was possibly stall till someone who could have opposed them could have shown up, he berated himself for not even trying, he had once again failed to show up when he was needed, and someone might have actually died because of his inaction. Kutay felt weak and unreliable, he could never do anything when it actually mattered he was too weak. Although he felt depressed, he was also angry, at Armageddemon for ruining the tournament, at Kronk and Tina for being enemies, at the Royal Knights for not having shown up sooner, but mostly at himself for being too weak to have done anything, and too slow to have been there in time. Things were not looking too good for him, and he began recalling all the tragedy that had happened since he had returned to the digital world, the attack on the Frigimon's village, the death of one of the DRF members and his digimon, and now the attack on the Coliseum, with all that had happened he realized how little he had been able to do to prevent it. He became lost in his thoughts after sitting down on a bench nearby wondering if he was capable of actually helping keep the digital world safe like he intended upon returning. "Hmph, I guess I am just not cut out to be a tamer anymore, I can't seem to get much done, although looking back, I guess it was always this way but back then I was a kid with a lot of power so it didn't click." Kutay said as he looked up at the sky and recounting events once more, except now he was remembering the previous world too, at least back then he was strong, aimless maybe, but strong.
"Kutay, since when were you this pathetic?" Dorumon said as he hopped up on the bench with his tamer. "If you really are think upset about not being in the right place at the right time, then stop mopeing around and get ready to do stuff, you never seem to act until the last possible moment and then you get upset you weren't where you needed to be, so quit being upset and lets do something." Dorumon said while slapping Kutay with his tail, "If you want to do something about Jintae being captured, then lets head to the DRF building, maybe someone there knows what happened and why, and in case they don't, maybe you can help the rescue along by starting it." He said after stopping hitting Kutay. "I mean really you seem so mopey right now, lets quit being depressed and do something." Dorumon said then hopped down from the bench. It would seem to Dorumon that he would need to keep Kutay occupied so that he wouldn't reach a state of self hate, which wouldn't be beneficial to anyone at all, and felt that the best place to look for something to do, would be the DRF main building, the missions that got posted at the tavern were too low class for Dorumon's taste, and they weren't very engaging for the most part. So as Dorumon was leading Ryudamon, who had been looking up at the tall buildings in the city, he turned back to Kutay and gestured with his tail in a follow me fashion, which appeared to get his tamer to follow him, albeit begrudgingly.
Camden, along with Terriermon on her shoulder and Cutemon walking next to her, made their way back to the cafe with the stolen goods. After Cutemon's confession none of them said much of anything to each other, except for the occasional glare from Terriermon. Catching sight of the cafe, and the Biyomon flapping around frantically at them Camden pointed out,"Well me made it,""Mm still think we should've taken him to the DRF..."Cutemon flinched at the sound of that and Camden shook her head,"No I have a better idea" but her vagueness kept Terriermon wondering what exactly she meant, what could be better than turning him in to the proper authorities? The Biyomon didn't waste any time swooping in to greet them,"You made it you made it! Did you catch the thief?! Did you save the desserts?!" she bombarted Camden with questions before Terriermon pushed a gap between them with his ears,"Yes and yes we did,"She swished the bag from over her shoulder and pulled out the trays of desserts and handed them Biyomon. Biyomon went threw the bag to check everything happily and swiftly, but popped out and asked,"Hm where are all the strawberry donuts?"Camden looked down at Cutemon then rubbed the back of her head and hesitantly said,"Some got lost during the fight I'm sorry to say..." but she clapped her hands together suddenly and happily,"I can make some more though! To make up for the ones lost how about it?""You can do that?!"Terriermon said shocked. Camden sighed and looked at him blankly,"You know with all the time we've been together I can't believe you forgot that I can cook..."Terriermon blushed and laughed nervously. Biyomon clapped her wings together,"Oh my thank you and after going out of your way to catch that nasty thief! Where is he anyway?""Um...""The thief won't be causing anymore trouble,"Terriermon was in pure shock by her answer, especially how straight-faced she was saying it, but Cutemon, who hugging Camden's leg, was so shocked she was almost moved to tears. Camden lifted some of the display boxes and said with a smile,"Let's get to work then, Terriermon you can help me okay? Just...don't eat any of it before we finish okay?" he nodded, still a little taken back. The Biyomon picked up the rest of the goods and they all made their way to the cafe.
The next 2 hours Camden spent in the cafe's kitchen, remaking the goods lost in the previous tussle. Terriermon was putting forth an effort to not dig into all the strawberries that were just within his reach, but he was putting all his focus instead on Cutemon to make sure she didn't cause anymore trouble. Cutemon though just sat in the fold up chair by the kitchen watching Camden make up for all the treats, a million thoughts running through her mind. She jerked when a hand holding a doughnut appeared before her,"Huh-!"Camden brought it a little closer to where Cutemon took in her hands,"Here have a taste," Terriermon argued,"Hey why does she get one!?"Though Camden already had one in her other hand ready to give to him. She tossed it and he caught it with his ears and danced a little happily. While he indulged himself in his treat Cutemon just let it sit in her lap. Camden asked,"Is something wrong? Do you not like strawberries I can make you something else," but Cutemon blushed and shook her head,"No not at all! I just...there's no way I can accept..."Camden looked at her worryingly,"Why not you said you were hungry right?" Cutemon averted her eyes back to the doughnut not saying anything,"I'll take it then!"Camden tapped Terriermon on the head,"Nope."She sat on a crate next to the chair and held her head in her hands,You need to eat something, its not good for you,"Cutemon jolted up, dropping the doughnut from her lap, but Terriermon caught it with his ear, and screaming at Camden,"STOP IT! Stop being nice to me! I did all that bad stuff I'm a bad digimon just quit being nice because I'm small and cute!"Camden was a little surprised by the outburst but kept her calm expression as she had before and responded,"That's not why."
Before Terriermon could take a bit out of Cutemon's doughnut he stopped and wondered why as well,"You're not a bad digimon, I mean yeah your cute but so is anything small, Terriermon is cute,"her say that made him turn away and blush,"What really hit when I first saw you was the scared look on your face. When I first came to the digital world years ago I had that same look,"she smiled,"But I had Terriermon with me and I wasn't scared anymore," Terriermon interrupted,"Wait what?! you squealed at anything that moved!""That's not the point..."she commented,"The point is even though I was scared I had him and well, you don't seem to have anyone so,"She held out her hand to Cutemon,"Do you want to not be scared with us?"Cutemon's small brown eyes widened at the offer. Terriermon seemed spaced out,"B-bu-but I-i'm you partner!""I've seen other tamers with a bunch of digimon with them, remember those two girls in the tournament they each had two and that one boy that fell on us, it shouldn't be a problem then,"She came back to focus on Cutemon,"So how about it? You don't have-"Cutemon leapt into her lap and hugged her and started to cry,"YES YES YES YES!"Camden hugged the little digimon back. A beeping from her back pocket alerted her to pull out her digivice which started to glow. Cutemon was entranced and touched it, causing the glow to die down. They all looked at each other,"Well I guess that means its official."Camden tried to explain the strange occurence. Cutemon giggled and looked down at Terriermon, who held the doughnut out to her,"I..guess this is yours..."Cutemon took it happily and then started to nibble,"But don't get carried away I'm still keeping an eye out on you!"He added. Camden laughed at Terriermon, and then Biyomon walked over, more calm than she was before,"Miss Tamer thank so much for everything we have plenty of desserts now!" Camden nodded,"Oh it's no problem I'm glad we could help out,"and the now two partners both said in unison,"No problem!"
The walk back to New Network city gave Nikky the time to regain her composure. Good thing too since they had just arrived at their destination; the mission board and reception area. After swiftly filling out the paper work to then receive the mission's reward, a decent amount of bits, for it's completion, Nikky turned to face Iris. "I'm done!" Upon closer observation, Iris' mood seemed a lot better compared to yesterday's, like she was refreshed. Whatever was previously plaguing her thoughts had dissipated, making her think that Marco had a hand in her more confident outlook. She was relieved to see her friend happy again, though the brunette did wonder in the back of her mind what had happened between Marco and Iris... Not that she'd ask of course since it wasn't any of her business.
On the way to the city, Hanako had told Nikky and Kukkii that Iris and her team had plans of going on a mission. She didn't have any concrete plans as of yet and wondered if Iris did. "I'm sorry for the wait." She said with a light bow. "So did you already have a mission you had in mind?"
Biyomon was still panicked as she flew into New Network City. She knew she need to get over to the DRF, but she had been flying all night just to get here. What had happened back there? Why were her friends suddenly attacking each other. She didn't understand it but she knew if anyone could help it was these guys. All she had wanted to do was speed a nice relaxing weekend in NNC with her friends but now this was happening and she wasn't even sure if she had any friends left. She needed to rest for a minute so she landed on the roof of the Boxing Bro's guy. It sounded like there was a loud commotion going on inside but she couldn't make any of it out. The she heard a really loud crash. She realized there must have been a battle going on inside.
