this is what my mom did: *sees Yaoi pic* mom:why do you have that? me: its sexy. mom: you think THAT *look of disdain* is sexy??? Me: yup. Mom:to each their own *what is my child growing up to be sigh* haha! now she knows but i usually keep it away from her cuz she doesn't really like it.

I'm an adult with kids of my own. I let my daughters read it and we watch anime together hehe
As for my family, I don't answer to them but they hate it. My mom thinks it's of the devil... it's evil... I'm going to hell for liking it rolleyes

My parents don't care. There's very little that I've been forbidden to read-- Case Closed is about it.

My dad is really the one who doesn't know I look at Yaoi or Shounen-ai. They aren't against it though.

mostly everyone in my family knows that i readshounen-ai and yaoi but some give me the akward look but my mom knows more than them ,so whenever i look at the manga section of a bookstore my mom always asks me have you read this or do you have that,or what about that book...i think she encourages me a lil,so she doesn't mind that i read that kind of stuff .its whatever i like ,i like ..my mom knows best 3nodding

My mom knows. She found out a while ago, she wasn't to happy either. She doesn't know I still look at it, but I think if I asked her she'd let me buy it.

My mom and dad know that I read the mangas, but they never look through them. Or so I think. A couple weeks ago my dad got me an I heart YAOI bag. He didn't say anything other then "What's this a book bag?" and I said Yup.

Especially if they read some of the things I write! (My mangas aren't graphic about it, y'know, the most offensive thing I have at the moment is Gravitation. My stories... Not so... un-graphic...)
