She was a little surprised and stiffened a moment before relaxing into the kiss, pulling herself closer to him. She kissed back, one hand sliding into his hair smoothly.

He smiled softly as he felt her relax in his arms and decided to simply try and make this kiss last instead of making it passionate.

She felt him smiling and couldn't help but smile herself as they kissed.

After a few long moments he reluctantly broke the kiss, resting his forehead against hers. "That's one way to get you to shut up." He teased.

"Nothing comes to mind." She started to shiver a little. They had been sitting mostly still in the water too long. She was starting to cool down again.

He could feel her shiver in his arms and almost instinctively he spun her around slowly and pulled her up against him, keeping his arms around her to try and warm her up a little. "Hmm... we'll have to give it some thought then. I'm fine with kissing for now though."

"Dum... dum... da dum.... dum... dum... da dum..." She hums softly as she rests her head on his shoulder. It makes her smile. "I'm sure she'll be thrilled and sending a letter to my mother all about it."
