Severus, though surprised, didn't object to the kiss. Instead, he pulled Remus into his lap and pulled him as close as possible, closing his eyes as he bit back a rather embarrassing moan.

This was definately better than listening to Severus say the things he didn't want to hear about himself. He wrapped his arms around Severus' neck and moaned softly into the kiss.

Severus smiled and pulled away several seconds later to breathe. He nuzzled Remus happily. "You're... you're good..." He blushed and lowered his eyes, embarrassed that he could never say what he wanted with the right words.

Severus sighed contentedly and relaxed. He didn't know how long they had been hiding in the ramshackle bedroom, but he supposed it would be high time to get out of there. He really didn't want to, though, so he kept his mouth shut and just allowed himself this moment of happiness.

Remus didn't want to either but his stumach grumbled. he chuckled a bit. "I guess we need to go back before I decide to eat you."

Severus nodded and stood. "I guess.. It's almost dinner time already, huh? That was fast."

"I know. I wanted to stay here with you longer." Remus pouted a bit. He stood up and held Severus' hand. "After dinner do you want to take a walk around the lake with me?" He smiled.

Severus smiled. "Sure. That sounds nice."
During dinner, Severus watched Remus and his friends while they ate, a sad thought occurring to him; it would be weird for him to go sit with his new boyfriend. Slytherin and Gryffindor were natural enemies. For him to sit with Remus would trigger animosity worse than usual.

Remus kept looking over at Severus every now and then. He had a simular thought of wishing that they could be like a real couple who smooches as much as they want and goes everywhere together. But they already had been warned once about making a scene and doing any of those things would be making a scene.
He was glad when dinner was over though. He waited outside the Great Hall for Severus. At least they could spend a few more moments together before they had to be back to their dorms for curfew.

Severus met up with Remus gratefully. "Hi, Remy-love. So, how about that walk around the lake?"

Remus smiled brightly when he saw Severus and he called him Remy-love. "Sounds perfect." He laced his fingers with Severus' and kissed his cheek.

Severus swung their hands lightly as they took their time walking the edge of the lake. "I wonder what would happen if one of us started sitting at the other's table at breakfast and dinner," he mused.

Remus smiled. "McGonagall yells at us again and gives us detention. But I'd be willing to risk it if you want me to sit with you." Remus was happy that Severus had thought about them acting like a real couple too.
