Waiting.( Frozen_to_death & tested_and_true ..FULL!)

Donny listened to the quite room for a few moments. It was still... but not still in a way. He turned his head inward so his face was towards her neck and Donny lifted his head up and started biting her ear softly.

She shuddered softly,not in the bad way. She wrapped her arms around his neck gentley and leaned into him. She kissed his neck softly. Amanda opened her eyes slowley.

He smiled as he felt Amanda kiss his neck,"You ok now?" Donny asked remembering how she had freaked out about the 'stalker' guy that had shown back up in her life just that very day.

She rested her head back on his shoulder and relaxed. "yeah.." she fiddled with his dog tags.

"That's good." Donny said and smiled. It made him glad that she felt better now,"ya know... I thought about you the whole entire time I was gone... Everyone that I told about you told me that I was lucky to have a girl like you here..." he said thinking about his military life.

She stayed where she was. She tilted her head so she was looking at him. "What was it like..?..I dont mean the whole..like 'drop and give me twenty' [bad impersanation lol] but mentaly.."

"Well..." Donny said taking in a deep breath,"It was hard to see some of the things that they showed us... and by us I mean my batallion and myself... and some of the images of dead bodies and of explosions are still stuck in my head... But.. I guess...," Donny paused,"I guess thinking of you helped keep me sane. I mean... I knew I'd come back here someday."

Amanda didn't know what to say. She felt bad..since it was her fualt he left. She snuggled closer.She thought about it but still nothing "Im sorry.." she whispered

"aww... why are you sorry? You didn't do anything wrong." Donny said and kissed the top of her head lightly, laying his head on hers after.

"It was my fualt.."she muttered. She played with his dog tags.

Donny was still baffled,"What was your fault Manda?" He said as he looked over to her confused.

"You having to go through all that..I was stupid.." she muttered. She buried her face in his neck.

Donny sat there silent for a minute or so,"It's not your fault. I was the one who made the choice to be in the military. Don't blame yourself for something that I had control over. No matter what Amanda I'll always love you." He lifted his head up and lifted hers up gently with his hand,"ok?" he asked just to make sure she heard him.

"mhhm" she still felt like crap. She knew it was her fualt and it was going to stay that way. She was gonna make it up to him,whether it meant for eternity and back.

"k then.." he said,"I love you Amanda.." Donny let it come out in a whisper to her. It was sincere as he had said it to Amanda. Donny kissed her lips softly.
