That is indeed a good question.

So...yeah. It's now going to take me a full month to get in the habit of writing 2009 in the date on papers. Always does. And for some reason, I have a relapse in the middle of the year every year where I think it's the previous year.

Ha, at least you don't have to worry about doing it on official papers. sweatdrop

Just write "2009" on the back of your index finger's knuckle on your writing hand so you don't forget.

Normally I'm giving this whole thing a wide berth, but this mini is too good to pass up on:

Here's my question: How many drugs had to be done before 1) that was thought up and 2) Connery agreed to do it.

It would seem that it was directed by the same man who did Deliverance. gonk

Oh, well nevermind then.

I actually heard banjo music while hiking once. We started freaking out, and my other friend was laughing his a** off. He had put speakers in his backpack and had loaded his iPod with creepy banjo music to freak us out.

Creepier would be if he grabbed one of you and demanded that you'd squeal like a piggy. gonk

So...I'm going to be involved in something wonderfully nerdy but at the same time incredibly cool.

www.belegarth.com

No, it's not LARPing. It's full scale medieval combat recreation.

You use foam weapons and padded shields, that is so not a medieval combat recreation, that is larping! If it doesn't hurt it doesn't count! scream

Have you even been nailed with one of those swords on full swing? Yes, there's padding, but it can still hurt a fair bit. The main things to say it's not LARPing are:
-No spellcasting
-No +/- modifications on weapons
-Fewer idiots trying to call special rules

Oh, there's a friend of mine that does that, I'm pretty sure. Or at least did, I'm not sure if he still does.
