Amy came into the bar with a neutral look on her face. She went over and grabbed a stool by the bar. Then, she dragged it around to behind the bar. She had come back last night and cleaned all the dishes and scrubbed down the counter. So, until someone wanted a drink, there was nothing for her to do.
She sat on the stool and drew her legs up so that they were bent and crossed in toward her. It was a good thing she was wearing shorts. Then, she rested her wrists on her knees, closed her eyes, and began to focus on relaxing herself.
If someone needed a drink, she would still be able to hear them and get it for them right away.

Amy opened her eyes and then she smiled when she saw it was Dame. She uncrossed her legs and laughed softly.
"I'm sorry Dame! I've just been thinking of what you said last night and I'm taking it to heart. I'm trying to center myself so that I don't get so worked up or worried over what others think. It'll take awhile for me to change, but I think if I meditate, it might work better and come quicker."
She blushed and looked down at her lap momentarily. "Plus, Dec said he would stop by today to talk with me, however long I wanted by the way, and I want to be relaxed and happy when he gets here."

Well...not to burst your bubble or anything, but I know Dec has a show tonight and he has to get up at a reasonable time on Mondays...depending on when the show lets out will decide whether he will be here or not. -smiles at her- But I'm here to talk to you! 4laugh

A frown appeared on her face, even though she tried not to let it show. "He promised... Does he make a habit out of making promises and then breaking them? I'm not being mean, just asking since I don't know him that well."
