Hello, after fighting it for years I've finally decided to shuffle off to pasture. I've been here a long time (this is a second account, my first account was made back around when this site was still in it's infancy pretty much near the beginning. Maybe. Memory isn't that good and my guesstimations stuck).
Now where's my Gaia Social Security check?

I haven't been on Gaia in many years. Things sure have changed as far as money goes. Things that were $40,000 are now several million. I just wanted to find out more about this guild. I have money now that I would like to donate, but want to make sure it is going to a guild who embraces and supports us old folk. 3nodding

And yes, there was a major disruption in Gaia's upper management several years ago. Long story short, when they decided to push the announcements of Gaia Cash purchases and gold generators, inflation hit Gaia big time. During all of this, we lost a LOT of good Admin and well over 100K Gaian users. At this point, hard-earned Gaia Gold is still awarded, but it can be disheartening when one ventures into the MP only to see the outrageous prices on everything. But there's good news! Admin Lanzer just came back over the Holidays, and he will be leading upper management and pushing for some changes to help bring Gaia back again.
Thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness of wanting to make a gold donation. But as is stated on the bottom of GGG's Home Page, please do not donate any more gold directly to the Gaian Geezers Guild. If GGG were more active, donations could be made via a Trade to our guild mule, Gilda Geezer, to be used for gifts and guild contest prizes. But just be aware that Gilda is not very active with Gaia anymore, and GGG hasn't sponsored a guild contest in several years. You'd be better off saving up your gold and using it to purchase items for you and your friends. 3nodding

Said donations go into the dumpster for dumpster diving purposes, found in the Games dropdown. I've received many nice items and fish through dumpster diving. 4laugh

Hi! I'm a rank newbie on Gaia Online. NorRainForest, that's my handle. I can't say much because my internet connection is suffering from the weather tonight. Either that or this site is really Rockin Tonight! lol
I'll be back!

Ohhhh! Those easy chairs (described on Guild Home page) look soft and comforting. Just got to rest me old bones! So, I can't remember if I have already said hi to the guild members. If I have I can't locate the post in this thread. How senile is that, lol! I'm Northern Rain Forest. HI all!

Hi. I've been on Gaia for about ten years now, though only part of that was active. My old hang-outs died some years back, during the bad management era. At that time, I only came on occasionally but am now fully back. I hope to find a new family here in this guild.

Hi, I'm new to the guild. I enjoy roleplaying, Halloween, hanging out with family and friends, reading horror books (the classics has always been my favorite), writing, coffee, coloring, and a lot more. I'm from New York and I'm 28.
